      • Electromagnetic Vibration Analysis and Measurements of Double-Sided Axial-Flux Permanent Magnet Generator With Slotless Stator

        <P>This paper examines the effects of the electromagnetic source on the vibration of a double-sided axial permanent magnet generator with a slotless stator depending on the ac and dc-load conditions. The slotless machine has no cogging torque. Most of the vibration originates from the torque ripple and axial force distributions, which result from the current load conditions. The 3-D finite element analysis results are compared with voltage, current, and torque measurements. The order tracking analysis of the vibration test data clearly demonstrates the dependence of the critical harmonics on the load conditions.</P>

      • The efficacy and safety of the WOMEN CARE(SJ global, bucheon) for washing the vagina: Randomized Controlled Study

        Objective: To analyze the efficacy and safety of the WOMEN CARE(SJ global, bucheon). Methods: This study is conducted by randomized controlled trial of 20 patients with Women care(Tap water) and 22 patients with control group(Dressing with Povidone iodine) from September 1, 2019 to Febrary 28, 2020 in Hanyang University Hospital. Each group patients were visited our center four times. At first visit(VISIT 1), patients were examed of STD 12 and cervical culture. About 7 days later(VISIT 2), they were visited and grouped by Women care or povidone iodine dressing by randomized selection. They were dressing by each method. After 2 days later(VISIT 3) from VISIT2, cervical culture was done. After 2 days later(VISIT4) from VISIT3, cervical culture was done finally. Results: There were no significant differences in demographic and clinical characteristics between the two groups. We compared the results of cervical culture gram positive bacteria at VISIT 1 and VISIT3. The quantitative decrease of bacteria was seen the 6 patients of 20 patients in WOMEN CARE group. In the control group, The quantitative decrease of gram positive bacteria was seen the 5 patients of 22 patients. Conclusion: By this study, there was no significant side effect of WOMEN CARE; Vaginal itching sensation, redness and burning sensation. We confirmed the safety and efficacy of the WOMEN CARE.

        Histopathologic Finding of Perieschar Lesions in Tsutsugamushi Disease Shows Lymphocytic Vasculitis Mimicking Angiocentric Lymphoma

        Background: Tsutsugamushi disease is an acute, febrile, infectious disease caused by Orientia tsutsugamushi. Several studies investigating the histopathologic findings of eschars in tsutsugamushi disease reported leukocytoclastic vasculitis and neutrophil infiltration as the major findings. However, these findings may result from secondary changes following tissue necrosis. The histopathologic findings of perieschar lesions may be important to understand the primary changes associated with tsutsugamushi disease. Objective: To investigate characteristic histopathologic features of perieschar lesions and suppose the mechanism of vascular pathophysiological changes associated with tsutsugamushi disease. Methods: We analyzed histopathological slides of perieschar lesions in 12 patients diagnosed with tsutsugamushi disease. Results: In the epidermis, exocytosis of mononuclear cells (75.0%) and basal vacuolar changes (66.7%) were frequent. In the dermis, perivascular, interstitial, and perineural mononuclear cell infiltration (100.0%, 83.3%, and 83.3%, respectively), as well as thrombosis (83.3%), atypical lymphocyte infiltration (91.7%), and mitotic figures (83.3%) were commonly seen. Lymphocytic vasculitis and mononuclear cell infiltration around eccrine glands were found in all cases, but eosinophil infiltration was only found in one patient (8.3%). However, the characteristic findings of eschar lesions, such as leukocytoclastic vasculitis and neutrophil infiltration, were not found in perieschar lesions. Conclusion: The major histopathologic findings in the perieschar lesions of tsutsugamushi disease were lymphocytic vasculitis and atypical lymphocytic infiltration, mimicking lymphoma. Therefore, we suggest that this lesion should be added to the list of pseudolymphomas. To observe these characteristic histopathologic features, we also recommend that skin biopsies should be performed on perieschar lesions, not eschar lesions. (Ann Dermatol 30(1) 29∼35, 2018)

        A Study on the Fabrication and Comparison of the Phantom for CT Dose Measurements Using 3D Printer

        전산화 단층촬영 장치의 정 도관리 항목 중 하나인 환자 피폭선량 피폭 시험은 의료법 제38조 특수의료 장비 설치 및 운영에 따라 1년마다 측정을 시행하고 기록을 보관해야 한다. 선량 측정을 위해 사용되고 있는 CT-Dose 팬텀은 정확한 선량 측정이 가능하지만 가격이 비싸다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 기존의 CT-Dose 팬텀을 3D프린터로 유사하게 제작하여 기존의 팬텀과 비교 분석하고 유용성을 알아보았다. 기존의 CT-Dose팬텀과 동일한 팬텀을 제작하기위해 PLA 필라멘트를 이용하여 FFF 방식의 3D프린터를 이용하였으며, CTDIw 값을 산출하기 위해 팬텀의 주변부와 중앙부에 이온챔버를 삽입하여 각 10번씩 측정 하였다. 측정결과 주변부는 CT-Dose팬텀 30.44 ± 0.31 mGy, 중앙부는 29.55 ± 0.34 mGy CTDIw값은 30.14 ± 0.30 mGy로 측정되었고, 3D프린터를 이용하여 제작된 팬텀은 주변부 30.59 ± 0.18 mGy, 중앙부 29.01 ± 0.04 mGy, CTDIw값은 30.06 ± 0.13 mGy로 측정되었다. SPSS 통계 프로그램의 Mann- Whiteney U-test를 사용하여 분석한 결과 중앙부의 결과 값은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었지만 주변부와 CTDIw의 결과 값은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 결론적으로, 3D프린터를 이용하여 제작된 팬텀으로 기존의 CT-Dose 팬텀과 유사한 선량측정 성능을 보였으며, 본 연구를 통해 3D프린터를 이용한 저비용의 팬텀 제작의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. Patient exposure dose exposure test, which is one of the items of accuracy control of Computed Tomography, conducts measurements every year based on the installation and operation of special medical equipment under Article 38 of the Medical Law , And keep records. The CT-Dose phantom used for dosimetry can accurately measure doses, but has the disadvantage of high price. Therefore, through this research, the existing CT - Dose phantom was similarly manufactured with a 3D printer and compared with the existing phantom to examine the usefulness. In order to produce the same phantom as the conventional CT-Dose phantom, a 3D printer of the FFF method is used by using a PLA filament, and in order to calculate the CTDIw value, Ion chambers were inserted into the central part and the central part, and measurements were made ten times each. Measurement results The CT-Dose phantom was measured at 30.44 ± 0.31 mGy in the periphery, 29.55 ± 0.34 mGy CTDIw value was measured at 30.14 ± 0.30 mGy in the center, and the phantom fabricated using the 3D printer was measured at the periphery 30.59 ± 0.18 mGy, the central part was 29.01 ± 0.04 mGy, and the CTDIw value was measured at 30.06 ± 0.13 mGy. Analysis using the Mann - Whiteney U-test of the SPSS statistical program showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the result values in the central part, but statistically significant differences were observed between the peripheral part and CTDIw results I did not show. In conclusion, even in the CT-Dose phantom made with a 3D printer, we showed dose measurement performance like existing CT-Dose phantom and confirmed the possibility of low-cost phantom production using 3D printer through this research did it.

      • Laparoscopic primary repair of gastric perforation caused by umbilical trocar insertion

        Objective: Present an unusual case Target: Adanced practicioners Methods: Background and Aims: We present a case of iatrogenic gastric perforation caused by umbilical trocar insertion with subsequent laparoscopic primary repair. Design: Case study. Patients: A 58-year-old Korean woman with no history of abdominal surgery was scheduled to undergo a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy for myoma ureti. Interventions: Laparoscopy. Results: A 58-year-old Korean woman had a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy on June 26, 2019. During abdominal entry, a 5-mm trocar was then placed by direct trocar insertion method, but introduction of the laparoscope revealed that it had been placed within the lumen of the stomach. We inserted nasogastric tube to remove gas and liquid from the stomach. The stomach perforation, which had been marked by leaving the original trocar in place and appeared to be an 5-mm clean injury with minimal bleeding The perforation site was repaired laparoscopically with 2-0 vicryl sutures, using intracorporeal interrupted full-thickness suture. Her nasogastric tube was removed on postoperative day one. The patient did well postoperatively and recovered without complications. Conclusion: Our experience indicate that laparoscopic primary repair of gastric perforation caused by umbilical trocar insertion is safe and feasible.

        Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) has been becalmed for ve years before 2017 due to its narrow movement, being continuously cited as \BOXPI" meanong boxed KOSPI. We endeavor to resolve the BOXPI phenomenon by as- sociating heterogeneities in sensitivity of sector portfolio indices to their devia- tions from the market index with fundamental valuations at the industry level and macroeconomic determinants at the aggregate level. To do so, we derive the theoretical stochastic dynamics of the sector indices capturing sector rotation strategies. Then we estimate the dynamic mean-reversion speed of sector portfolio indices to KOSPI. Finally, we investigate three possible hypotheses from the valu- ation, economic fundamental, and economic policy uncertainty perspectives. Our main nding is that nancial ratios, several macroeconomic properties of a small open economy and uncertainty proxies are proven to be the main determinants to explain the BOXPI. To be speci c, the sector rotations turn out to be more sen- sitive to the market variables during the BOXPI period and comove tightly with the economic variables during the non-Boxed period. Our ndings have important implications for market practitioners.

      • Performance and energy efficiency verification of bench scale bio-electrochemical anaerobic digestion

        Municipal solid waste(MSW) have been continuously increased as urbanization progresses rapidly. The highest proportion of MSW is food waste, and the importance of recycling food wastes is increasing. Recycling methods of food waste are feedstuff, composting and biogasification. Among them, biogasification, a carbon-neutral recycling method, is attracting attention. However, biogasification, that is, anaerobic digestion(AD), needs to improve the low process stability and organic matter decomposition rate, etc., and bioelectrochemical anaerobic digestion(BEAD) can improve the above problems by supplying a small amount of voltage. But, most of the experiments on BEAD were conducted on the lab scale, and the performance verification on a larger scale was not performed. Therefore, this study tried to perform performance verification of BEAD on bench scale. The reactor was composed of AD and BEAD reactors. Working volume of both reactors is 100 L. BEAD reactor was composed of a main reactor and a small reactor including electrodes, and both reactors were connected. The operation was performed under the conditions; organic load rate of 4 kg/㎥/d, HRT of 20 days, and temperature of 35°C. Additional, a voltage of 0.4 V was supplied to the BEAD. The results of the experiment showed that the average amount of organic removal was 5,800 mg-COD/L and the average amount of methane generation was 35 L/d higher than that of AD. In addition, the energy efficiency of BEAD was calculated by comparing BEAD and AD, and the average was 290%. Therefore, in this study, it was confirmed that the rapid organic removal and methane generation were performed even when BEAD was applied at the bench scale, and effective energy recovery was achieved by a small amount of voltage supply.

        Epithelioid blue nevus (EBN) is a rare but distinctive histologic variant of blue nevus that has been described in patients with Carney complex, an autosomal-dominant multiple neoplasia syndrome. Clinically, EBN is typically characterized as small (less than 1 cm), darkly pigmented, dome-shaped nodules or, less commonly, as macules on the skin or mucosa. Recently, cases of EBN have been reported in patients without Carney complex. On histologic findings, variably pigmented, large epithelioid melanocytes with vesicular nuclei and a small number of melanophages that are sometimes associated with a few pigmented, spindle, and dendritic cells can be seen. A 40-year-old male presented with a solitary steel bluish well demarcated 6 x 4 mm sized nodule with central umbilication on the left arm without any clinical evidence of Carney complex. On dermoscopy, oval shaped, diffuse structureless area with steel-blue pigmentation and a central round dimple with whitish rim were seen. In the absence of any other dermoscopic structures, a clinical diagnosis of blue nevus was established. Histologic findings showed a wedge shaped symmetrical structure composed of heavily pigmented cells involving the dermis. On higher magnification, epithelioid melanocytes with large cytoplasm and abundant melanin within their cytoplasm were seen. The diagnosis of EBN was made. Herein, we report a case of EBN for whom dermoscopy was used as a helpful diagnostic tool.
