유용성 관점의 기술 기회 발굴 지원 서비스에 대한 연구

본 연구는 대용량 학술 문헌에서 필요한 정보를 자동으로 분석하여 유망 기술을 발굴하고 기술 관련 동향 정보를 제공함으로써 의사 결정자들의 전략 수립 및 의사 결정에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기술 기회 발굴 지원 서비스의 유용성 평가를 목적으로 한다. InSciTe Advanced라는 기술 기회 발굴 서비스를 그 대상으로 하며, 서비스를 개발하기 이전에 R&D 전략 수립 업무를 담당하는 전문가의 인터뷰를 통해서 사용자 요구 사항을 분석하는 과정을 통해 Trends and Predications, Technology Levels, Relationship Paths, Roadmaps, Competitors and Collaborators 등의 대표 서비스를 개발하였다. 또한 이 서비스가 어느 정도의 유용성을 가지는 지를 알아보기 위하여 실제 사용자의 업무 능력 향상의 관점에서 정보 충족성(Satisfaction of Information)과 정보 완전성(Completeness of Information)을 평가하였다. 사용자들은 서비스에서 제공하는 정보의 유용성이 높은 것으로 평가하였지만, 정보의 완전성 측면은 상대적으로 낮은 점수를 주었다. 본 연구로부터 얻은 교훈을 바탕으로 향후에는 서비스에서 제공하는 데이터의 종류를 확대하고, 분석된 정보의 정확성과 신뢰성에 대한 검증 절차를 강화할 예정이다. In this study we evaluate usefulness of InSciTe Advanced, technology opportunity service offering trends information related technologies by analyzing automatically large amount of data. Before developing the service, InSciTe Advanced, we design 5 main services - Trends and Predictions, Technology Levels, Relationship Paths, Roadmaps, Competitors and Collaborators - through the interviews with expert in planning R&D strategy. And we evaluate usefulness of each service in InSciTe Advanced to examine how the information analyzed by InSciTe Advanced are useful to user from two points of view, Satisfaction of Information and Completeness of Information. Users set a high value on 5 main services in all tis aspects, but give relative low grades to completeness of Information. We will learn lessons from this study, increase kinds and amount of data, and strengthen the process about accuracy and reliability of analyzed information from the service.
Practical Tips of English Expressions for Non-Native English-Speaking Peer Reviewers

Peer review is an essential part in ensuring the quality of papers published in scientific journals. Good reviews are beneficial for both authors and journal editors by providing authors with the opportunity to improve their manuscripts and editors with valuable comments to aid themselves to make their decisions. Despite a plethora of research articles on general guidelines for peer reviewing, it is difficult to find papers on English expressions peer reviewers can use, in particular for nonnative English-speaking peer reviewers. Therefore, this article provides “downto- earth” guidance for non-native English-speaking reviewers to construct better quality reviews. To this end, I suggest useful English expressions to help peer reviewers, whose mother tongue is not English, enhance the quality of their reviews.
OntoFrame S3 : The evolution of Semantic Web Service Framework

As an information service system based on semantic web technology, OntoFrame takes aim at a framework for providing analysis and fusion services of academic information. OntoFrame have been added lots of new design and function every year after developed in 2005. OntoFrame S3(OntoFrame: STAR-enabled Semantic Services) is providing a more strong synergy by connecting with OntoFrame and KISTI-STAR. This paper presents OntoFrame S3 that is a semantic service system improved the problem of OntoFrame2008. OntoFrame2008 based on semantic web technology provides several semantic and analytic services such as year-based topic trends in academic information, related topics, topic-based researchers and institutions, researcher network, statistics and regional distribution of academic information. And this system is one-stop service in ways that it connects external services simply with hyperlinks and provides an entity-centric integrated search using URI. On the other hand, OntoFrame S3 offers variable services through a connection with KISTI-STAR, an application of the user oriented service lay-out and addition of new semantic services with semantic services in OntoFrame2008. Thus, OntoFrame is evolving toward user-centered semantic web service framework.

<P><I>Background</I>: Oxaliplatin has long been used for the treatment of colorectal cancer via intra-venous infusion. In order to improve patient compliance, a solid dosage form for oral administration of oxaliplatin was prepared as nano-sized particles.</P><P><I>Method</I>: Nano oxaliplatin was prepared employing Fat Employing Supercritical Nano System (FESNS<SUP>®</SUP>) with Supercritical Fluid (SCF) apparatus by using myristyl alcohol as solvent. Morphology of nano oxaliplatin was examined by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and the particle size and zeta potential were confirmed with Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS). To characterize the nano oxaliplatin particles, solubility rate and in vitro efficacy study (MTS growth inhibition assay) were investigated compared to crude oxaliplatin as reference.</P><P><I>Result</I>: FESNS<SUP>®</SUP> provided reproducible nano oxaliplatin with high manufacturing yield (> 95%). SEM images showed that the particle size distribution of nano oxaliplatin ranged between 20 and 400 nm with the medium particle sizes (<I>d</I><SUB>50</SUB>) of about 164 nm determined by DLS. Pertaining to the long-term stability, no recrystallization of the nano oxaliplatin was observed with negative zeta potential in the state of solution. Nano oxaliplatin was completely dissolved within a couple of minutes in pH 4.0 and pH 6.8 buffer solutions while crude oxaliplatin took a couple of hours to go into solution. In case of MTS growth inhibition assay, the average concentration required to inhibit 50% of cell growth (GI<SUB>50</SUB>) of nano oxaliplatin was decreased by about 45% in comparison to the crude oxaliplatin.</P><P><I>Conclusion</I>: These results lead us to conclude that nano oxaliplatin would have a great potential for the improvement of efficacy and toxicity in human colorectal cancer treatment compared to the crude oxaliplatin.</P>

<P>Increased accountability requirements for the cost and quality of healthcare force nurses to clearly define and verify nursing's contributions to patient outcomes. This demand necessitates documentation of nursing care in a precise manner. An electronic nursing record system is considered a key element that enhances nurses' ability not only to record nursing care provided to patients but also to measure, report, and monitor quality and effectiveness. Home care is a growing field as nurses attempt to meet the demand for long-term care. The development of an electronic record system for home care nursing was the immediate focus of this study. We identified the nursing content required for home care nursing using standardized nursing languages and designed linkages among medical diagnoses, nursing diagnoses, nursing interventions, and nursing-sensitive outcomes within the system. Equipping an electronic nursing record system with nursing standards is particularly critical for enhancing nursing practice and for creating refined data to verify nursing effectiveness.</P>
