        Preparation of High-density YAG/ZrB2 Multi-phase Ceramics by Spark Plasma Sintering

        ZrB2 and YAG are widely applied because of some excellent properties, but ZrB2 is difficult to prepare as a high-density ceramic, and it is easily oxidized in high temperature air, which limits the application of ZrB2 materials. To obtain high-density for better oxidation resistance ZrB2 ceramic materials, in this paper, Al2O3 and Y2O3 are added into ZrB2 raw material to prepare high-density YAG/ZrB2 multi-phase ceramics by spark plasma sintering. Through the above analysis, it is proposed that 1600oC is regarded as a critical sintering temperature (Tc) to fabricate YAG/ZrB2 multi-phase ceramics. Only if the sintering temperature is higher than Tc, can a nearly full density composite be achieved. The microstructure of sintered YAG/ ZrB2 multi-phase ceramics after 4 minutes at 1600oC is a better compact, the density and relative density are 5.5865 g/cm3 and 99.40% respectively, which indicates that high-density YAG/ZrB2 multi-phase ceramics have been fabricated successfully.         Endogenous hormone levels and activities of IAA-modifying enzymes during adventitious rooting of tree peony cuttings and grafted scions

        During rooting of both cuttings and grafted scions of tree peony ( Paeonia suff ruticosa Andr.) cultivar ‘Fengdanbai’, the anatomicalstructure, the contents of endogenous hormones (indole acetic acid, IAA; zeatin, ZT; gibberellin, GA 3 ; and abscisicacid, ABA), and the activities of IAA oxidase (IAAO), peroxidase (POD), and polyphenol oxidase (PPO) were observed. Theresults showed that the rooting processes in cuttings and grafted scions were similar, but that the critical period of rootingin cuttings was earlier than in grafts (cuttings: 18–20 days; scions: 38–40 days). IAA content showed a direct correlationwith rooting, with the peak value appearing as the adventitious roots were breaking through the epidermis in both cuttingsand grafts (cuttings: 20 days; scions: 38 days). ZT and GA 3 promoted adventitious rooting, and ABA inhibited it. The peakvalues of the IAA:ABA and IAA:ZT ratios appeared at the same time as the IAA peak (cuttings: 20 days; scions: 38 days),which indicated that these values were closely related to the occurrence of adventitious roots. Changes in the activitiesof IAAO, POD, and PPO, which modify IAA levels, indicated that there were no direct relationships between these threeenzymes and adventitious root formation in cuttings or grafts. These results provide a basis for further study of adventitiousroot formation in the ornamental tree peony.

        한·중 소비자의 브랜드 SNS 몰입 영향요인에 관한 비교연구

        최근 브랜드 SNS는 기업들이 고객과의 관계 형성, 유지 및 발전을 위한 중요한 커뮤니케이션 수단으로 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구 문헌고찰을 통해 브랜드 SNS 몰입 영향요인을 정보제공성, 편리성, 유희성, 상호작용성, 브랜드 명성, 인센티브 추구 등 6가지로 설정하였고, 이 변수들이 브랜드 SNS 몰입을 통해 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향에 대해 한·중 국가간 비교분석하였다. 연구결과 유희성, 상호작용성, 브랜드 명성, 인센티브 추구는 브랜드 SNS 몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 한국과 중국 소비자간에 차이가 존재하는 것으로 확인되었다. Recently companies are increasingly using brand Social Network Service(SNS) to build, maintain, and develop the relationship with their customers as a communication tools. Literature reviews on prior studies and empirical analyses through the surveys on SNS users have been implemented to achieve the research objectives. The paper set six brand SNS commitment influence factors as independent variables, informativeness, usability, pleasure, interactivity, brand reputation, and pursuit of incentives. The result of empirical analysis utilizing structural equation modeling based on the surveys on SNS users in Korea and China showed that, pleasure, interactivity, brand reputation, pursuit of incentives significantly impacted on the brand SNS commitment and significant differences exist between Korean and Chinese consumers using brand SNS. The study has reconfirmed the previous research’s results on the relationship between SNS influence factors and the brand SNS commitment. On the other hand, this study, dissimilar to other previous studies, demonstrated that different SNS influence factors may influence differently on the brand SNS commitment in other countries by the comparative analyses in between two countries.

        본 연구는 SNS 환경에서 이용자 간 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 한·중 젊은층 소비자 간에 어떤 차이점이 있는지를 분석하는데 주된 목적을 두었다. 분석결과 한국의 경우 기술적 요인 중 이용 용이성이, 중국은 사회적 요인 중 사회적 유대감이 이용자 간 상호작용에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이용자 간 상호작용이 이용의도에 미치는 영향은 한·중 소비자 간에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 향후 SNS 관련 연구나 실무적 차원에서 국가 간 차이를 고려한 마케팅전략의 차별화가 필요한 것으로 판단된다. The study focus on the factors affecting the interaction between SNS users, the purposes of this study is to investigate the similarities and differences between Korea and China users. As a result, the study found that the ease of use in technology factors has no effect to Korean users, while the social ties in social factors has no effect to Chinese users. The impact of user’s interaction was not different between korea and the china customer. According the those results marketing managers should develop different marketing strategies.

        LED-Supplied Red and Blue Light Alters the Growth, Antioxidant Status, and Photochemical Potential of in Vitro-Grown Gerbera jamesonii Plantlets

        Light is one of the most important environmental factors influencing plant growth and development. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are are a promising alternative to conventional light sources for planttissue cultures. Combined red (R) and blue (B) LEDs are suitable for the production of many plantspecies. However, few studies have examined the effects of different R:B ratios on Gerberajamesonii under controlled conditions. G. jamesonii plantlets were grown in controlled conditionsunder different ratios of discreet and blue light wavelengths provided by programmable LEDs. Theeffects of the different LED treatments on various morphological indices, photosynthetic parameters,soluble sugar and protein contents, and antioxidant enzyme activities were analyzed. Growth undermonochromatic red light resulted in the tallest plantlets and longest stomata, and most promotedsoluble content and intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci). Growth under monochromatic blue lightpromoted the highest levels of soluble protein, chlorophyll a (chlorophyll a (Chl a), and chlorophyllb (chlorophyll b (Chl b). An R:B ratio of 6:4 was the ideal LED treatment for enhancing leaf length,root length, and peroxidase activity. Growth under R:B = 7:3 promoted the number of leaves, leafwidth, number of roots, superoxide dismutase, and catalase activities, chlorophyll synthesis, and theaccumulation of Chl a and Chl b and led to the highest fluorescence parameters. With the exceptionof three physiological indicators, other indicators growth under R:B = 7:3 were better than underother tested ratios, implying that R:B = 7:3 represents the ideal LED treatment for improving G. jamesonii growth and photosynthetic activities under controlled conditions.

        Nanotherapeutics with immunoregulatory functions for the treatment of bacterial infection

        The advent of drug-resistant pathogens results in the occurrence of stubborn bacterial infections that cannot betreated with traditional antibiotics. Antibacterial immunotherapy by reviving or activating the body’s immune systemto eliminate pathogenic bacteria has confrmed promising therapeutic strategies in controlling bacterial infections. Subsequent studies found that antimicrobial immunotherapy has its own benefts and limitations, such as avoidingrecurrence of infection and autoimmunity-induced side efects. Current studies indicate that the various antibacterialtherapeutic strategies inducing immune regulation can achieve superior therapeutic efcacy compared with mono therapy alone. Therefore, summarizing the recent advances in nanomedicine with immunomodulatory functionsfor combating bacterial infections is necessary. Herein, we briefy introduce the crisis caused by drug-resistantbacteria and the opportunity for antibacterial immunotherapy. Then, immune-involved multimodal antibacterialtherapy for the treatment of infectious diseases was systematically summarized. Finally, the prospects and challengesof immune-involved combinational therapy are discussed.

        Reliability and Validity of Chinese Version of the Perceived Competence Scale for Disaster Mental Health Workforce: A Cross-Sectional Study

        Objective This study aimed to translate the English version of the Perceived Competence Scale for Disaster Mental Health Workforce (PCS-DMHW) into Chinese, and to test its reliability and validity in Chinese mental health workers.Methods With the consent of Professor Choi, Keimyung University, Korea, and the authorization of the scale, the English version of PCS-DMHW was translated, retranslated and culturally debugged to form the Chinese version of PCS-DMHW. The general information questionnaire and the Chinese version of PCS-DMHW scale were used to investigate 706 mental health workforce from 9 tertiary hospitals in Sichuan province in China from March 24, 2020 to April 14, 2020. The Cronbach’s α coefficient was used to evaluate the internal consistency reliability of the scale, and the test-retest correlation coefficient r was used to evaluate the test-retest reliability of the scale. The content validity indexes (CVI) and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used separately for evaluating the content validity and structure validity of the scale.Results The Cronbach’s α coefficient of the Chinese version of PCS-DMHW total scale, individual competences and organizational competences subscale was 0.978, 0.956, and 0.964, respectively. The test-retest reliability of the total scale, individual competences and organizational competences subscale was 0.949, 0.932 and 0.927, respectively. The item-level CVI of all scale were ranged from 0.833-1.000, the scale-level CVI (S-CVI)/universal agreement of the total scale, individual competences and organizational competences subscale was 0.833, 0.875, and 0.857, respectively, and the S-CVI/average was 0.972, 0.979, and 0.976, respectively. EFA showed that two principal components were extracted from the subscale of individual competences and organizational competences.Conclusion The Chinese version of PCS-DMHW has good reliability and validity, and can be widely used in China.
