Kiyoung Jang,Junyeop Lee,YoungOk Kwon,Byung Cho Kim,Dongwon Lee,Wonseok Oh,Sung-Bong Yang 한국정보기술학회 2016 한국정보기술학회논문지 Vol.14 No.8
It is very crucial for viral marketing to determine a handful of influential users who can disseminate the product information to the users in a network. Influence maximization is a problem of finding k users to maximize the influence to all users in networks. In Pocket Switched Networks, all users do not have information about the entire network topology. Thus, it is essential to predict the future contact opportunities for forwarding messages by analyzing the node behaviors. In this paper, we propose an influence maximization scheme based on contact frequency of the users in the network. In the scheme, we obtain the contact frequency among the users in a regular time interval during the warm-up period. At the end of the warm-up period, the main server performs the feature selection process with the contact frequency. The minimum redundancy feature selection process yields the most important features, indicating the most influential users. Finally, the server selects promising users as the influential users with the feature selection. We show that the simulation results for the diffusion time performance of the proposed scheme. The proposed scheme shows 8.5% and 12.9% more improved performance than the random and set-cover scheme.

Floral transition is influenced by environmental factors such as light and temperature. Plants are capable of integrating photoperiod and ambient temperature signaling into their developmental program. Despite extensive investigations on individual genetic pathways, little is known about the molecular components that integrate both pathways. Here, we demonstrate that the RING finger–containing E3 ubiquitin ligase CONSTITUTIVE PHOTOMORPHOGENIC1 (COP1) acts as an integrator of photoperiod and ambient temperature signaling. In addition to the role in photoperiodic destabilization of CONSTANS (CO), COP1 also regulates temperature sensitivity by controlling the degradation of GIGANTEA (GI). COP1-impaired mutants showed reduced sensitivity to low ambient temperature. Notably, COP1 is more stabilized at low temperature and accelerates GI turnover in a 26S proteasome-dependent manner. The direct association of GI with the promoter of FLOWERING LOCUS T (FT) depends on ambient temperature, and thus COP1-triggered GI turnover delays flowering at low temperatures via a CO-independent pathway. Taken together, our findings indicate that environmental conditions regulate the stability of COP1, and conditional specificity of its target selection stimulates proper developmental responses and ensures reproductive success.
An Unusual Case of Tubo-ovarian Abscess by Gemella morbillorum
Jang, Hyoungsun,Kim, Seryun,Ryu, Kiyoung,Lee, Kkot Sil,Kim, Jaewook,Kim, Jongwook 대한감염학회 2009 감염과 화학요법 Vol.41 No.5
Gemellae is a gram positive cocci that forms part of the oropharyngeal microflora in humans and is anaerobic to aerotolerant. Unlike the other members of the same genus, G. morbillorum rarely causes human infections. Recently, we experienced a case of tubo-ovarian abscess caused by G. morbillorum which was initially suspected to be actinomycosis associated with intrauterine device. This is the first case in the world on tubo-ovarian abscess with G. morbillorum as the culprit.

The domestic construction industry is changing its preference for demand and supply along with urbanization and economic development. Accordingly, initial risk assessments is more important than before. Currently, the research related to risk analysis except for apartment studies is insufficient. Therefore, the objective is to suggest a basic study on financial analysis model development by applying optimization method in residential officetel. To achieve the objective. first, the previous studies are investigated. Second, the causal loop diagram is structured based on the collected data. Third, the financial model is developed by using optimization method. In the future, the proposed model can be helpful whether or not conduct execution of an officetel development project to the decision makers.

Continuum manipulators or hyper-redundant manipulators are commonly used for steerable endoscopes and robotic catheters. Hyper-redundant manipulators are composed of many rigid links and joints, which can be actuated by embedded motors or by transmission components such as tendons and spring sheaths. This article describes a mathematical model of a hyper-redundant manipulator with rolling contact joints. The position and orientation of each discrete link of the hyper-redundant manipulator is calculated using a transformation matrix, and the moment equations of the joints are solved by numerical analysis. The shape deformation of the manipulator under a lateral force is calculated and the theoretical stiffness on the lateral force is determined. We compare the stiffness obtained by experiments with theoretical values. The lateral deformation has an error of up to 7.1 mm, and the lateral stiffness is within an error range of 9%. Stiffness analysis of the hyper-redundant manipulator is expected to predict the motion of the manipulator during robotic interventions.

Despite of muscle group and posture variability, regression model to estimate endurance time have mainly developed by using the percentage of maximum voluntary contraction (%MVC). This paper presented two regression models by using the relative load intensity %MVC and the relative gravitational torque ratio %GTR (gravitational torque ratio) as a prediction variable for the biceps brachii muscle, and compared these models with the existing models. Sixty volunteers (30 females, 30 males) participated in this study, and performed isometric contraction exercises at 6 relative load intensities from 30% to 80% of MVC increasing by 10%, respectively, until their exhaustion to determine endurance times. Two regression models were induced from two relations between the measured endurance times and %MVC and between those and %GTR, and compared with the existing models by their correlation, determinant coefficients (r2) and mean square errors (MSE). The results demonstrated that the presented models were valid to estimate muscle endurance time by using %GTR of the biceps brachii muscle.
Sejongia marina sp. nov., isolated from Antarctic seawater
Lee, Kiyoung,Lee, Hong Kum,Choi, Tae-Hwan,Cho, Jang-Cheon Microbiology Society 2007 International journal of systematic and evolutiona Vol.57 No.12

A Gram-negative, psychrotolerant, chemoheterotrophic, aerobic, non-gliding, non-motile, yellow-pigmented bacterium, designated IMCC3228(T), was isolated from coastal seawater of the Antarctic. On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons, the strain was most closely related to the genera Sejongia (95.3-96.1 %) and Chryseobacterium (94.2-95.9 %) in the family Flavobacteriaceae. Phylogenetic trees generated using several treeing algorithms based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that this Antarctic marine isolate formed a distinct phyletic line within the genus Sejongia. The DNA G+C content of the strain was 35.0 mol% and the major respiratory quinone was MK-6. Several phenotypic and chemotaxonomic characteristics, including temperature and NaCl optima for growth, oxidase activity and the proportions of major cellular fatty acids, served to differentiate the strain from the recognized species of the genus Sejongia. Therefore strain IMCC3228(T) represents a novel species of the genus Sejongia, for which the name Sejongia marina sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is IMCC3228(T) (=KCCM 42689(T)=NBRC 103143(T)).
