유치원과 초등학교 교육과정에 나타난 과학교육 내용의 연계성 분석

학생들의 지속적인 성장과 발전을 위해서 학교급에 따른 학습 내용의 연계성은 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 유아교육과 초등학교 과학과 교육과정의 연계성에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족한 편이다. 이러한 측면에서 유아교육에서 전체적으로 제시하고 있는 과학 관련 학습 내용과 초등학교 과학과 교과 과정 간의 연속성에 대한 분석이 선행될 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 2015 과학과 교육과정을 중심으로 14개의 소영역으로 구성하고, 유치원과 초등학교 과학교육의 핵심 내용을 대응 관계로 제시하였다. 그 결과, 유치원에서만 제시된 학습 내용, 초등학교에만 제시된 학습 내용, 유치원과 초등학교의 명확한 연관성이 보이는 학습 내용으로 분류할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 유치원과 초등학교 과학과 교육과정의 연계성에 대한 시사점을 제시하고 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다. For the continuous growth and development of students, continuity of learning content according to the school level is essential. However, research on the continuity of kindergarten education and elementary school science curriculum is relatively insufficient. In this respect, it is necessary to precede the analysis of the continuity between the science-related learning content presented in kindergarten education and the science curriculum in elementary school. In this study, the 2015 science curriculum was organized into 14 small sections, and the core contents of science education in kindergartens and elementary schools were presented as correspondence. As a result, it was possible to classify learning contents presented only in kindergarten, learning contents presented only in elementary schools, and learning contents showing a clear continuity between kindergarten and elementary school. This study is meaningful in that it presents implications for the continuity between the science curriculum of the kindergarten curriculum and the elementary school curriculum.

Atmospheric corrosion severity associated with aircraft parking environment was studied using metallic specimens, and temperature and humidity sensors installed at each aircraft operating base. Data were analyzed after a year of exposure. Silver was used to measure chloride deposition by integrating X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy depth profiles. Carbon steel was utilized to determine the corrosion rate by measuring the weight loss. The time of wetness was determined using temperature and humidity sensor data. Analysis of variance followed by Tukey’s “honestly significant difference” test indicated that atmospheric environment inside the shelter varied significantly from that of unsheltered parking environment. The corrosion rate of unsheltered area also varies with the roof. Hierarchical clustering analysis of the measured data was used to classify air bases into groups with similar atmospheric corrosion. Bases where aircraft park at a shelter can be grouped together regardless of geographical location. Unsheltered bases located inland can also be grouped together with sheltered bases as long as the aircraft are parked under the roof. Environmental severity index was estimated using collected data and validated using the measured corrosion rate.
Current status of gene delivery: spotlight on nanomaterial-polymer hybrids

<P>Gene therapy aims to treat human disorders by introducing genetic materials into specific target cells or tissues. Despite the curability for the origIn of diseases by restoring missing functionalities, no technical feasibility of gene therapy has been established due to the lack of safe and efficient gene delivery systems. The emergence of nanotechnology has provided an opportunity to create nanomaterials that are suitable for the biomedical applications. Nanomaterials integrated with cationic polymers offer novel platforms that allow not only easy incorporation of genetic materials through electrostatic interactions but also further modifications to be upgraded to theranostics. In this article, current status of gene delivery utilizing hybrid nanomaterials that are composed of novel nanoplatforms and cationic polymers are highlighted. In particular, different strategies employed for the construction of nanomaterial-polymer hybrids are described.</P>
A Review of Research Studies on Automotive HUD Information and UI Design

Compared with traditional head-down displays, automotive head-up displays (HUDs) are known to benefit driver performance and safety by allowing drivers to focus more on the road ahead. With technological advances, automotive HUD systems are becoming increasingly capable of displaying a large amount of information of different kinds. Even full-windshield HUD systems that support realizing augmented reality (AR) are expected to be commercially available in the near future expanding the possibilities of the user interface (UI) design for automotive HUD systems. Despite the inherent benefits of automotive HUDs, however, their efficacy seems to largely depend on the UI design as well as the selection of information content and the amount of information presented. Presentation of excessive or inadequate information or poor UI design can adversely affect driver safety. To better support the design of safe and driver-friendly automotive HUD systems, this paper aims to provide a literature review on automotive HUD information and UI design. The findings in this article may guide future research efforts regarding the automotive HUD design.
Multivariate Kernel Regression

This study focuses on the multivariate kernel regression. We start from the basic step from definition of nonparametric regression to multivariate kernel regression. To see how kernel regression works, we adjust order of regression, true function which is a target for estimation, kinds of kernel and then perform simulations.
