<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>In this article, thermally conductive and relatively low dielectric constant polymer matrix composites of an aluminum nitride filler (AlN) and a novel liquid crystalline copoly(ester amide) (LCP) were prepared via a solution blending method in the presence of a phosphate containing dispersant. The viscosities, thermal conductivities, and dielectric properties of the prepared AlN/LCP composites were investigated as a function of AlN loading. Our experimental results demonstrated that the AIN/LCP composite with AlN concentration of 50 wt% had 2.5 times higher thermal conductivity than pure LCP (2.020 and 0.817 W/mK for composite with 50 wt% of AlN and pure LCP, respectively), but its dielectric constant remained at low level, i.e., < 9.0 at frequency of 900 Hz. In addition, viscosities of AlN/LCP pastes in the <I>N</I>‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidinone solvent remained at acceptable levels with the high AlN loading of 50 wt%. The morphologies of the prepared composites were also investigated by scanning electron microscopy. POLYM. COMPOS., 2012. © 2012 Society of Plastics Engineers</P>

Substitution of Mn by Fe, Co, and Ni ions suppresses double exchange (DE), leading to a reduction in ferromagnetic interaction, or equivalently to lower values of Curie temperature, TC. The intensity of the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) line decreases exponentially with temperature, and the temperature dependence of EPR linewidth undergoes a minimum near TC. The activation energy values, Ea, derived from the temperature dependence of EPR line intensity, are equal to 0.074 eV, 0.093 eV and 0.086 eV for TM = Fe, Co, and Ni, respectively. In the case of cobalt substitution, an anomaly in the thermal evolution of the EPR linewidth has been observed. We attribute the cause of this anomaly to a Jahn-Teller transition or an electronic phase separation.
Jasminum albicalyx Kobuski (Oleaceae): a new record from Vietnam
Bui Hong Quang,Ritesh Kumar Choudhary,Tran The Bach,Vu Tien Chinh,Nguyen Sinh Khang,이창영,이중구 한국식물분류학회 2014 식물 분류학회지 Vol.44 No.3
We report a new record of Jasminum albicalyx Kobuski in Vietnam. The plant differs from J. pedunculatum Gagnep., a closely related taxon, by foliar and floral characters such as less number of lateral veins, presence of domatia at vein axils on the abaxial surface of leaf, smaller bracts, white calyx having more number of lobes and less number of lobes in corolla. Morphological description, line drawing and color photographs are provided in addition to the species key of allied species of Jasminum albicalyx in Vietnam.
Two new records of Spiradiclis (Rubiaceae) from Vietnam
이중구,Nguyen Sinh Khang,Ritesh Kumar Choudhary,Bui Hong Quang 충남대학교 농업과학연구소 2019 Korean Journal of Agricultural Science Vol.46 No.3
Spiradiclis hainanensis H.S. Lo and S. purpureocaerulea H.S. Lo (Rubiaceae) are reported as new additions to the flora of Vietnam. In Vietnam, the genus Spiradiclis has been represented by only two species, S. leptobotrya (Drake) Pit. and S. caespitosa Blume. During our field investigations in the Lao Cai and Ninh Binh Provinces of northern Vietnam, we collected two interesting specimens of Spiradiclis that were earlier known only from China and unknown in Vietnam. Here, we report S. hainanensis and S. purpureocaerulea as previously unrecorded species from Vietnam. Detailed descriptions and color photographs are provided along with a taxonomic key for Spiradiclis species in Vietnam.

The article reports the results of an investigation on the practice of providing digital scholarship services at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This study is part of an ongoing research project entitled Developing a digital scholarship service framework for universities at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. It employed a qualitative research approach through in-depth interviews with 31 individuals who are university managers, library managers, lecturers, and postgraduate and undergraduate students from six member universities and Central Library of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. Research results show that some digital scholarship services have been provided at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. However, they have not been yet systematically implemented and have not met users’ needs. Lack of needed resources such as space, technology infrastructure, human resources, finance, and stakeholder support are among major challenges in developing digital scholarship services. The management of existing digital scholarship services is fragmented without a clear policy for developing digital scholarship and supporting services. The study contributes to the existing knowledge by adding substantially to current understanding of the practice of providing digital scholarship services in Vietnam’s universities in the transition period, from state control to autonomy, which has not been much addressed in previous research. Furthermore, this study can be a useful reference for higher education institutions in developing countries regarding implementation of digital scholarship services.
