      • 古代 Greece의 體育思想에 關한 考察 : Socrates, Platon, Aristoteles를 中心으로

        The following results are derived from the analysis of the thought and athletic thought of Socrates, Platon and Aristoteles who had much influence on the modem physical education. First, Socrates undersood that body and mind were closely related and they had systematic functions. As a result he emphasized that sound body gave much effect on sound mind and thought. He viewed the physical education for health as the means to the individual happiness and achieving social development. In a word he regarded health as the conditions for achieving the development of society and nation. Second, Platon considered the physical education as the means to leading one's mind to goodness. But Aristoteles regared the effect of the physical education as the equivalent conditions for achieving sound mind and body. Third, platon tried to get ideal of human beings from idea and he discussed the athletics from the view that the physical education should be the basis of the development of intelligence and man of thought. But Aristoteles emphasized the training of the body as the means to getting the goodness of the body. Fouth, Platon thought that intelligence should precede body to keep idea as idea life, but Aristoteles keep the happy life as ideal goal and regarded the goodness of body as the means to getting to the goodness of the mind. Fifth, Platon emphasized the special training of the soldies to develop the ideal nation, but Aristoteles emphasized the training of the individuals to get to the goodness of the health and the goodness of the mind and body of the individuals. In summary the above philosophers analyzed the foundation of human beings and concluded that mind is the essence of human beings and body is the material of human beings. As a result it was said that human beings consist of mind and body. They recognized the value of body and health. They admitted that the training of mind and body is necessary to the highest goodness of human beings. They gave hints to the necessity of physical education.

      • 韓國 近代體育에 있어서 各種 體育大會의 性格에 關한 考察

        This study aims to investigate how various athletic meetings have been developed in the introduction and settlement of Korean modern physical education and how the characters appeared according to the period have been. As there was a quickening of modern physical education, and various athletic meetings were held giving the first consideration to athletic sports, the athletic meetings were at the height of prosperity and the modern athletic sports were practiced, spread by missionaries. These athletic meetings contributed to not only performing the education like the import and introduction of modern culture and the inspiration of patriotic sentiment, including games, amusements and speech meetings. It was the bitters of our physical education to be modernized by the need of Japanese exploitation of the colony for 35 years of Korean and Japanese annexation. In the athletic sports at that time, overseas brethrens and students studying abroad attended and spread the skills to Korean society and athletes. And introducing new sports, they performed great services in the promotion of domestic physical education. On the other hand, our athletes won prizes at the international Olympic games, and Son, Kee-Jeong, a marathon runner won a gold medal at the Berlin Olympic games. So it contributed to the inspiration of our national consciousness in the gloomy period. When Japan invaded the continent in 1930, they revised physical education with the kinds of fight training, in other to strengthen the policy of physical education to militaristic war structure. Therefore, it was very hard time in our physical education. As the autonomy at physical education was restored with liberation in 1945, every physical education organization was adapted for the international situation through the medium of sports and activated domestically international athletic meetings and each sort of athletic meetings in other to improve competition power. Also internationally, they sent athletes to various international tournaments including Olympic games and Asian games, and enhanced the nation's prestige abroad. The epoch-making promotion of physical education was made at the height of Seoul Olympic games in 1988.

      • 퍼지 논리를 이용한 적응필터의 시변 수렴인자제어에 관한 연구

        The LMS(Least Mean Square) algorithm is widely used to control the adaptive filter in an adaptive noise canceler. The convergence factor in the algorithm is usually determined empirically or based on the power of input signals. This paper proposes the time-varying control of the convergence factor using fuzzy-logic. The proposed is evaluated by applying both test and respiratory myographic signals to two structures of the adaptive filter, FIR and linear combiner structures. Simulation results show that the new method outperforms fixed Finite impulse Response values of the convergence rate and the optimal method[6] in terms of the tradeoff between the convergence speed and the attenuation of the system error.

      • 체력검사의 종목별기록 예측을 위한 추정방안

        The purpose of this study was to examined the test battery validity and reliability of the applicants physical fitness test for male in high school student, with multiple correlation. The primary purpose of this study was to formulated regression equation of each test. The subject of this were 732 male applicants in high school who participated the physical education practical examination in Seowon University during the 1997-1999 academic years. To achieve this purpose, the SPSS software package was used for the statical analysis. Statistics employed in this study were multiple correlation analysis and partial correlation analysis. The major findings obtained from this were following; First, the analyze of the relationship between sargent jump test and other tests( side step test, dipping test, handball throw test, shuttle run test ) showed that most variables used in this study had significant correlations each other. The correlation coefficients were 0.27, 0.24, 0.28, -0.33, respectively, but correlation coefficients were shown to be low. Second, regression equation was formulated by the results of correlation among tests. 1) prediction formula of sargent jump record = ( 0.240 × side step test record ) + ( 0.138 × dipping test record ) + ( 0.383 × handball throw test record ) + ( -3.327 × shuttle run test record) +77.045. 2) prediction formula of side step test record = ( 0.326 × sargent jump test record ) + ( 0.235 × handball throw test record ) + 17.114. 3) prediction formula of dipping test record = ( 0.214 × sargent jump test record ) + ( -1.810 × shuttle run test record) + 22.608. 4) prediction formula of handball throw test record = ( 0.154 × sargent jump test record ) + ( -6.239E-02 × side step test record ) + ( -1.084 × shuttle run test record ) 5) prediction formula of shuttle run test record = ( -1.952E-02 × sargent jump test record ) + ( -7.049E-03 × dipping test record ) + ( -1.688E-02 × handball throw test record ) + 11.895.

      • 체력검사의 구성요인과 상호관계 분석

        The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between practical skill tests of the university entrance examination. The population for this study consisted of 722 male and 94 female applicants who participated the practical skill tests of the university entrance examination during the 1997-1999 academic years, S University. To accomplish the purpose of this study, the central tendence scores and variability were computed in order to compare characteristic scores of male and female applicants. Also, statistic employed in this study were multiple correlation analysis and partial correlation analysis. The major findings obtained from this study were following: First, as for the male applicants, there was significant casual relationship between five practical skill tests as shuttle run test, handball throw test, and sargent jump test, dipping test, and side step test. Second, as for the female applicants, there was significant casual relationship between shuttle run test and handball throw test. And there was significant casual rlationship between shuttle run test and sargent jump test. Third, as controlling for academic year, there was significant casual relationship between five practical skill tests as shuttle run test, handball throw test, and sargent jump test, dipping test, and side step test.

        I thought that standing height, sitting height, and lower extremitic height might have an effect on physical strength. So I investigated two hundred middle school boy students. In a result I got the following conclusion. 1. Standing height doesn't have an effect on Ball throwing, chining the bar, but has an effect on 100 meter-race, standing broad jump. 2. Sitting height doesn't have an effect on standing long jump, trunk curl, but has an effect on 100 meter-race, call throwing, and thrunk curl. 3. Lower extremitic height has an effect on all the items, that is, 100 meter-race, standing long jump, ball throwing, chining the bar, and trunk curl. 4. On the whole parts of physical strength the middle group have better standing heights than the high group. On the contrary the high group have better sitting heights and lower extremitic height than the middle group.

        This paper aims to find out the degree of collegians' interests in sports. The subjects are 118 students of Cheonju College of Education and the results are as follows. 1. Colligians thed to like ball games but tend to dislike an individual game. 2. Colligians like sports owing to their capabilities and the high leisure value. 3. Colligians hope to learn horse-riding, sking and swimming which need much espenses, because they think the above sports can give the balance of the body and the high leisure value. 4. Colligians show positive interest in sports but they have sports time irregulary. 5. Colligians tend to enjoy sports early in the morning and their families show positive attitude.

      • 환기역치로서 심박수 역치의 적용가능성

        The purpose of this study was to verified the availability of the heart rate threshed (HRT) as the ventilatory threshold. Subjects were consisted of the college-aged male(N=8) sports students. Subjects were performed an incremental exercise test on a bicycle ergometer starting with an initial power output of 40W with intensity increments of 20W/min until the subjects were exhausted, showing a heart rate deflection point. Subjects then in random order performed two(speed/grade) treadmill tests, respectively. The HRT determination was done by computer aided deflection point regression analysis from dependence of functional measures on work road. The same computer algorithm(1) or visual analysis(4) were used for VT determination from the relationship between ventilation and oxygen uptake. The results of this study as follow: First, all subjects demonstrated an heart rate threshold on the tests. Second, there were no significant differences inside test protocols of the HR and VO_2 at the HRT. Third, heart rate at the ventilatory parameters (HR_VT) showed significant correlations with HR_HRT. These results suggest that HRT could be used as an method of determining ventilatory threshold in sports students. Specially, HR_VT method is the preferred method to predict heart rate threshold during treadmill incremental exercise. Thus, This HRT method may be attractive for the application in training intensity.

      • 대학생의 생활체육수업 수강에 따른 참여동기와 여가몰입경험과의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of college students' participation in sports activity classes on their participation motivation and flow experience. To accomplish the purpose of this study, 646 college students who participated sports activity classes from seven randomly selected universities were surveyed by means of both the revised questionnaires, initially used and developed by Min, B. (1997) and Csikszentmihalyi(1975). The content validity and reliability of both the questionnaires were determined by conducting a pilot study. The used statistical methods for the data analysis were t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings obtained from this study were following: First, there was significant difference between male and female students who participated sports activity classes with respect to participation motivation and flow experience. The male students rated participation motivation and flow experience significantly higher in perception than did the female. Second, there was significant difference among the four different college student groups as freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior students who participated sports activity classes with respect to participation motivation and flow experience. The sophomore, junior, senior students rated participation motivation and flow experience higher in perception than did the freshman students. Third, there was significant difference among the three different groups as one, two, and three times who participated sports activity classes with respect to participation motivation and flow experience. The over two times croups in participating sports activity classes rated participation motivation and flow experience significantly higher in perception than did the one time croup. Fourth, there was significant difference among the six different groups as wolf, bowling, table tennis, swimming, tennis classes with respect to Participation motivation and flow experience. The students who took tennis and swimming classes rated participation motivation and flow experience significantly higher in perception than did the students who took other sports activity classes. Fifth, there was significant casual relationship among sender, rear in college, frequency of participation, six different sports activity classes, participation motivation and flow experience. Among them, gender, year in college, six different sports activity classes, and participation motivation in sport activity classes significantly influenced the flow experience.
