Dental implants are popular for dental rehabilitation after tooth loss. The goal of this systematic review was to assess bone changes around bone-level and tissue-level implants and the possible causes. Electronic searches of PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science, and a hand search limited to English language clinical trials were performed according to PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) guidelines up to September 2020. Studies that stated the type of implants used, and that reported bone-level changes after insertion met the inclusion criteria. The risk of bias was also evaluated. A total of 38 studies were included. Eighteen studies only used bone-level implants, 10 utilized tissue-level designs and 10 observed bone-level changes in both types of implants. Based on bias assessments, evaluating the risk of bias was not applicable in most studies. There are vast differences in methodologies, follow-ups, and multifactorial characteristics of bone loss around implants, which makes direct comparison impossible. Therefore, further well-structured studies are needed.

Giant condyloma acuminatum (also known as Buschke-Löwenstein tumor) is a rare disease, for which the treatment of choice is still controversial. In the case described in this report, we used a combination of electrocautery and a surgical scalpel to resect a huge genital wart, followed by long-term local treatment with podophyllin. This procedure was relatively fast, easy to perform, involved minimal bleeding, and did not result in any complications. Moreover, combination therapy enabled us to avoid deep resection of the lesion and consequently, sexual function was preserved completely.

Optimization of operating conditions is one of the most signicant issues concerning hydroforming the tubular components, includingstepped tubes, conical tubes, box shape tubes, and etc. Obtaining a sharp corner without any defects such as thinning and rupturingis one of the main goals in the production of these components. In order to manufacture tubes with filled corners, it is common toincrease the imposed pressure to the tubes. However, it may result in rupturing and thinning at the die corner radius, especially whenit is too small. In this paper, a new multistage die has been proposed for producing two stepped tubes. Numerical modeling has beenconducted using Abaqus/Explicit code. The results of simulation were afterwards checked against experiments in which it is shownthat a better thickness distribution could be obtained employing the proposed die set. There is no thinning in the final workpiece, particularly at the copper tube corners. Moreover, it could be possible to produce two stepped tubes with complete filled corners. Finally, comparing to other well-established methods, a lower pressure profile is required and a better thickness distribution can beachieved.
A novel method to cease traumatic urethral bleeding
Hamed Akhavizadegan 대한응급의학회 2018 Clinical and Experimental Emergency Medicine Vol.5 No.1
Urethral bleeding due to trauma is a well-studied and often self-limiting condition. However, existing evidence regarding effective management of massive hemorrhage is limited. Intermittent penile compression and continuous perineal pressure are methods commonly used to control urethral bleeding. Nevertheless, these methods are not mentioned in the literature as specific treatment for this condition, and are rather learned by physicians via word of mouth. Sometimes these methods are ineffective and difficult for the patient to tolerate. This paper explains a new method implemented on a young man with massive urethral bleeding due to iatrogenic trauma, which was unresponsive to standard management. For this patient, the bleeding was controlled by gradually inflating the balloon of the catheter up to 4 mL. Given its safety and efficiency in controlling bleeding in this patient, it seems this new technique should be considered in cases of massive hemorrhage unresponsive to routine treatment.

This study examines the effect of nature-inspired leading edge 3D serration on the aerodynamic performance of a 65/35-degree double delta wing. Force measurement experiments were conducted on a smooth-surface model and a model equipped with various combinations of serrated pieces in the leading edge area. Four symmetric different positions were examined in a low-speed wind tunnel. The transitional flow regime was applied with Reynolds numbers of 2×10 5 and angles of attack (AOA) of 0 to 36 degrees. Compared to the clean model, there is a notable enhancement in the maximum lift coefficient, especially for the pieces located at the apex and kink angle locations. However, when changing the combination of serrated leading edge (SLE) elements, a decline in C L can be seen at some AOAs, and adding more SLE pieces is not always useful. A drag reduction is also achieved by installing these elements, which provided a higher lift-to-drag ratio for all AOAs. Finally, the serrated leading edge postponed the stall angle of the double delta wing.

A composite of polyaniline/polypyrrole/hexagonal type mesoporous silica (PANI/PPy/HMS) was prepared, characterized by FE–SEM, FT-IR, XRD, TGA and BET analysis and applied in investigation of its adsorption characteristics for the removal of Cd(II) ions from aqueous solutions. Batch mode experiments were conducted and four kinetic models were used to describe the adsorption process. The adsorption kinetics results showed that the adsorbent had high affinity to Cd(II) in aqueous solutions, and the adsorption reached equilibrium within 8 min. The experimental data were fitted very well with the pseudo-second-order kinetic models. The equilibrium adsorption data were best fitted with the Freundlich isotherm.
EXTENSIONS OF NAGATA'S THEOREM
Hamed, Ahmed Korean Mathematical Society 2018 대한수학회지 Vol.55 No.4
In [1], the authors generalize the concept of the class group of an integral domain $D(Cl_t(D))$ by introducing the notion of the S-class group of an integral domain where S is a multiplicative subset of D. The S-class group of D, $S-Cl_t(D)$, is the group of fractional t-invertible t-ideals of D under the t-multiplication modulo its subgroup of S-principal t-invertible t-ideals of D. In this paper we study when $S-Cl_t(D){\simeq}S-Cl_t(D_T)$, where T is a multiplicative subset generated by prime elements of D. We show that if D is a Mori domain, T a multiplicative subset generated by prime elements of D and S a multiplicative subset of D, then the natural homomorphism $S-Cl_t(D){\rightarrow}S-Cl_t(D_T)$ is an isomorphism. In particular, we give an S-version of Nagata's Theorem [13]: Let D be a Krull domain, T a multiplicative subset generated by prime elements of D and S another multiplicative subset of D. If $D_T$ is an S-factorial domain, then D is an S-factorial domain.
