Design and Implementation of Heating Saving Energy System based on CANBus
Haihong Chen,Liping Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.8 No.6
Heating saving energy plays a very significant role in the energy saving industry. CANbus is a modern system in reliability improvement design concept which shows the transmission distance is longer than ordinary methods, and it can hang node on the optional position in availability distance. The nodes are linked in parallel, and not interfere with each other. By using the CANbus technology, the relay output module with a radiator, thermocouple acquisition module is linkedto the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor collects information from the outside system. Relay output module controls heating valve based on the temperature information, and make temperature of the room controlled automatically. Four energy-saving modes are developed in this project. Testing result reflects that the system designed under the new methodology offers outstanding results in energy-saving.
A New Overlap Current Restraining Method for Current-source Rectifier
Haihong Qin,Qing Liu,Ying Zhang,Xin Zhang,Dan Wang 전력전자학회 2018 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.18 No.2
To ensure a DC current path and avoid large voltage overshoot of the DC-link inductor, alternating PWM pulses in the current-source rectifier should be supplemented by overlap time, which generates an overlap current and causes input current distortion. In this study, the influence of overlap time is illustrated by comparing the AC-side current before and after overlap time is added. The overlap current distribution caused by overlap time is discussed under different modulation carriers, including triangle carrier, positive-going carrier, and negative-going carrier. The quantitative relationship between the extra harmonics of the AC-side current and overlap time is based on the Fourier analysis. Based on the commutation analysis, a new carrier modulation scheme that can restrain overlap current is proposed. A 3 kW prototype is established to verify the effectiveness of the influence of overlap time and the proposed restraining modulation scheme.

Parasitic parameters have a larger influence on Silicon Carbide (SiC) devices with an increase of the switching frequency. This limits full utilization of the performance advantages of the low switching losses in high frequency applications. By combining a theoretical analysis with a experimental parametric study, a mathematic model considering the parasitic inductance and parasitic capacitance is developed for the basic switching circuit of a SiC MOSFET. The main factors affecting the switching characteristics are explored. Moreover, a fast-switching double pulse test platform is built to measure the individual influences of each parasitic parameters on the switching characteristics. In addition, guidelines are revealed through experimental results. Due to the limits of the practical layout in the high-speed switching circuits of SiC devices, the matching relations are developed and an optimized layout design method for the parasitic inductance is proposed under a constant length of the switching loop. The design criteria are concluded based on the impact of the parasitic parameters. This provides guidelines for layout design considerations of SiC-based high-speed switching circuits.
Energy-saving Design Method for Hydraulic Press Drive System with Multi Motor-Pumps
Haihong Huang,Xiang Zou,Lei Li,Xinyu Li,Zhifeng Liu 한국정밀공학회 2019 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.6 No.2
Large energy consumption caused by the pump unloading, as well as the low energy efficiency of the motor, is a serious problem for hydraulic presses especially for the press with multi motor-pumps. By analyzing the energy dissipation characteristic of hydraulic press drive system which is composed of several motor-pumps used to provide energy, an energy-saving design method is developed to reduce the energy loss of the drive system. In this method, pumps are selected from the pump set by minimizing the proposed idling index to reduce the energy loss of motor-pumps in the unloading state. The index is defined as the sum of the product of the unloaded flow and the unloaded time for each stage in a working cycle of the hydraulic press. Then, the motors are selected from the motor set to drive the selected pumps correspondingly by ensuring that the load rate of all the motors is within a setting range for high energy efficiency in as many stages as possible. The method was applied to a 2000-ton rapid sheet tension hydraulic press, and results indicate that 26.97% of energy can be saved in a working cycle.
An Attempt to Measure the Familiarity of Specialized Japanese in the Nursing Care Field
Haihong Huang,Hiroyuki Muto,Toshiyuki Kanamaru Institute for Corpus Research 2023 Asia pacific journal of corpus research Vol.4 No.2
Having a firm grasp of technical terms is essential for learners of Japanese for Specific Purposes (JSP). This research aims to analyze Japanese nursing care vocabulary based on objective corpus-based frequency and subjectively rated word familiarity. For this purpose, we constructed a text corpus centered on the National Examination for Certified Care Workers to extract nursing care keywords. The Log-Likelihood Ratio (LLR) was used as the statistical criterion for keyword identification, giving a list of 300 keywords as target words for a further word recognition survey. The survey involved 115 participants of whom 51 were certified care workers (CW group) and 64 were individuals from the general public (GP group). These participants rated the familiarity of the target keywords through crowdsourcing. Given the limited sample size, Bayesian linear mixed models were utilized to determine word familiarity rates. Our study conducted a comparative analysis of word familiarity between the CW group and the GP group, revealing key terms that are crucial for professionals but potentially unfamiliar to the general public. By focusing on these terms, instructors can bridge the knowledge gap more efficiently.

The U2AF35-related protein Urp has been implicated previously in splicing of the major class of U2-type introns. Here we show that Urp is also required for splicing of the minor class of U12-type introns. Urp is recruited in an ATP-dependent fashion to the U12-type intron 3' splice site, where it promotes formation of spliceosomal complexes. Remarkably, Urp also contacts the 3' splice site of a U2-type intron, but in this case is specifically required for the second step of splicing. Thus, through recognition of a common splicing element, Urp facilitates distinct steps of U2- and U12-type intron splicing.
