      • 동아시아의 『明心寶鑑』 연구 : 중국·한국·일본 사회에 미친 영향을 중심으로

        『명심보감』은 주로 유교사상을 적극적으로 수용하여 인생의 행동 규범으로부터 정치 이념에 이르기까지 폭넓게 논한 도덕서로서, 중국·조선·일본·베트남 등의 동양뿐만 아니라 스페인을 중심으로 한 서양의 지식인들에게도 폭넓게 읽혀진 서적이다. 본 논문은 중국 명대에 성립하여 동아시아 각국에 전파된 『명심보감』이 중국·한국·일본에 전파된 수용실태를 조사·분석하고 각국에 미친 사상사적 의의를 규명 하였다. 특히 중국·조선이 판본의 형태의 원본이 주로 수용된 것에 반해 일본에서 는 『명심보감』이 지식인에게 읽혀져 많은 관련 서적이 편찬된 점은 중국·조선과는 다른 일본 독자적인 수용 방법에 기인한 것을 밝혔다. 동시에 『명심보감』은 각국의 고유한 전통문화 속에서 시대의 변화에 따라 다양한 변모를 보이면서 중국에서 한국·일본의 시대 상황과 정치사회적 여건의 특성을 유지하고 아울러 독자적으로 수용 정착된 사실을 밝혔다. MyungSimBoKam is a book of morality covering general topics from human conduct to political ideology positively adopting confucian philosophy. It has been widely read among Western intellectuals including Spanish as well as those in East Asian countries such as China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam. This paper discusses the ways how MyungSimBoKam that had been constructed in China's Ming Dynasty was spread and received in different East Asian countries, and also the effect it has made on each country's philosophical thought. It is argued that while MyungSimBoKam was introduced as a woodblock-printed book in China and Korea, it was widely read among Japanese intellectuals and thus lots of related books to it were published in Japan. It is my contention that as far as MyungSimBoKam is concerned, Japanese way of receiving it is quite different from that in either China or Korea: MyungSimBoKam was differently embraced in each country having been deformed or transformed in its own way depending upon the uniqueness of each country in terms of its tradition, culture, time period and socio-political conditions.

        Adzuki bean is sensitive to waterlogging stress. The overall study on the waterlogging stress is limited comparing to the study on the drought and any environmental stress. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the changes in growth characteristics and the expression patterns of proteins at the 5-leaf stage periods of adzuki bean. The domestic cultivar, Arari (Miryang No. 8) was used to test the waterlogging stress. In the waterlogging treatment for 3 days, the plant height showed slightly decrease in the treatment at 3 days of waterlogging, but root fresh weight showed significantly changes at 3 days of the waterlogging treatment. Chlorophyll contents showed also significantly different at 3 days of waterlogging treatment compared to control the plants. The waterlogging stress gradually influenced the growth differences between the control and the treatment respectively. More than 350 pro- tein spots were identified on 2-D gels using an image analysis. Moreover, a total of 28 proteins were analyzed using LTQ-FT-ICR MS. Among these 28 proteins, a total of 18 proteins were up-regulated, and 10 proteins were down-regulated under waterlogging treatment. According to biological process, the most of the proteins were found to be involved in carbohydrate metabolism. Regarding the subcellular local- ization, most of the proteins were localized into chloroplasts in 5-leaf stage.

        실측과 CFD을 통한 해인사 경내 및 판전에 대한 기류분포 특성의 조사

        Hae-In temple is located in Gaya Mountains, Hapcheon-gun, Korea and a thousand years old monastery. Tripitaka Koreana has been preserved during 750 years as good condition in Hae-In temple. The preservation technology is summarized as the passive design methods harmonized with the nature perfectly. Haein temple have dealt with a flow fields in the storage hall. In this study, an indoor and outdoor flow fields in the precincts of Haein temple were analysed with field measurement and numerical simulation. On the basis of the field measurement results, the restoration cases such as rearrangement of Tripitaka Koreana and relocation of the rear fence of Biro-Jean were analyzed with CFD.

      • 중기발암성시험기법을 이용한 Carbendazim의 간발암성 검색

        Carbendazim, which is widely used fungicide, was investigated for rat hepatocarcinogenesis using a medium-term carcinogenicity bioassay. All rats were initially given a single dose (200 mg/kg) of diethylnitrosamine (DEN) i. p. and then, starting 2 weeks later, carbendazim treatment group and positive control group received carbendazim (7 mg/kg/ day) and 2-acetylaminofluorene (2-AAF, V/0, respectively, in the diet for 6 weeks. All rats were subjected to two-thirds partial hepatectomy (PH) at week 3 and sacrificed at week 8. Carcinogenic potential was scored by comparing the number and area per cm" of induced glutathione-S-transferase placental form (GST-P) positive foci in the liver. Carbendazim had no effect in the increase of body weight, hematological and biochemical values, and the number and area of GST-P positive foci. These results suggest that this bioassay using DEN-PH method can be useful for detection of hepatocarcinogenic potentials of pesticide.

        예이츠와 일본의 노(能)

        William Butler Yeats(1865-1939) held a life-long interest in Japanese culture, and employed the images, knowledge and inspirations he gained from Japan in many of his literary works. On the Whole, it was the Japanese literary form that that the most significance in his development as a writer. The period of his writing that shows the greatest Japanese influence, consciously absorbing Japanese material and techniques in his writing, spans roughly the year 1914 to 1921. However, Japanese motifs and images recurrently appear in his later works. It was through the translations of Ezra Pound that Yeats became acquainted with noh, the medieval Japanese drama. Yeats's encounter with noh marked a turning point in his career as a dramatist. The noh led him to create "a form of drama, distinguished, indirect and symbolic…an aristocratic form" in which the supernatural dominates the stage and where the action develops toward a moment of enlightenment or revelation. In "Note to At the Hawk's Well," Yeats writes: I have found my first model--and in literature of we would not be parvenus, we must have a model--in the 'Noh' stage of aristocratic Japan. From this statement we can perceive how significant the noh form was to Yeats in his development as a playwright. In this essay, I have discussed Yeats's relationship with noh through a detailed analysis of Dreaming of the Bones(1919) and Purgatory(1939). Both plays have much in common: they are both ghost plays and pursue the theme of purgation. The Dreaming of the Bones is Yeats's first and most consciously faithful rendition of the noh form called "mugen noh("vision play" or "ghost play"). However, it is in Purgatory that Yeats succeeded in achieving a dramatic effect closet to that of noh. When Yeats was first introduced to noh, he immediately saw in it affinities with Irish legends and beliefs. In his "Introduction" to Certain Noble Plays of Japan, he went so far as to declare that "the men who created this convention were more like ourselves than were the Greeks and Romans, more like us even than are Shakespeare and Corneille." The noh was not something completely new or alien to Yeats. Indeed it was an ideal discovery which provided him a new form to express his perennial themes of the tension between the physical and spiritual worlds and the inability of the human spirit to release itself from its ties with the physical world.
