Genetic parameter analysis of reproductive traits in Large White pigs

        Yu Guanghui,Wang Chuduan,Wang Yuan 아세아·태평양축산학회 2022 Animal Bioscience Vol.35 No.11

Objective: The primary objective of this study was to determine the genetic parameters for reproductive traits among Large White pigs, including the following traits: total number born (TNB), number born alive (NBA), litter birth weight (LBW), average birth weight (ABW), gestation length (GL), age at first service (AFS) and age at first farrowing (AFF). Methods: The dataset consisted of 19,036 reproductive records from 4,986 sows, and a multi-trait animal model was used to estimate genetic variance components of seven reproductive traits. Results: The heritability estimates for these reproductive traits ranged from 0.09 to 0.26, with the highest heritability for GL and AFF, and the lowest heritability for NBA. The repeatabilities for TNB, NBA, LWB, ABW, and GL were ranged from 0.16 to 0.34. Genetic and phenotypic correlations ranged from –0.41 to 0.99, and –0.34 to 0.98, respectively. In particular, the correlations between TNB, NBA and LBW, between AFS and AFF, exhibited a strong positive correlation. Furthermore, for TNB, NBA, LBW, ABW, and GL, genetic correlations of the same trait between different parities were moderately to strongly correlated (0.32 to 0.97), and the correlations of adjacent parities were higher than those of nonadjacent parities. Conclusion: All the results in the present study can be used as a basis for the genetic assessment of the target population. In the formulation of dam line selection index, AFS or AFF can be considered to combine with TNB in a multiple trait swine breeding value estimation system. Moreover, breeders are encouraged to increase the proportion of sows at parity 3-5 and reinforce the management of sows at parity 1 and parity ≥8. Indium assisted hydride vapor phase epitaxy of GaN film

        Guanghui Yu,Benliang Lei,Haohua Ye,Sheng Meng,Ming Qi,Aizhen Li,Jun Chen,Gerard Nouet,JPierre Ruterana 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2006 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.7 No.2

In order to increase the migration length of adatoms in hydride vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE) of GaN films, indium was used as a surfactant in HVPE growth. For samples with indium, an increase of crystalline quality was confirmed by X-ray diffraction measurements, and an improvement of surface morphology was also observed. SIMS analysis showed that indium was incorporated in the as-grown GaN film, and indium related photoluminescence (PL) was also detected.

Strain-Dependent Constitutive Analysis of Hot Deformation and Hot Workability of T4-Treated ZK60 Magnesium Alloy

        Hui Yu,Huashun Yu,Guanghui Min,박성수,Bong Sun You,Young Min Kim 대한금속·재료학회 2013 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.19 No.4

The hot deformation behavior of T4-treated ZK60 magnesium alloy was investigated in a compression test conducted with a thermo-mechanical simulator at a temperature range of 523 K to 673 K and a strain rate of 0.001 s−1 to 1 s−1. The results show that the flow stress increases as the deformation temperature decreases and the strain rate increases. Strain-dependent constitutive relationships were developed using regression method and artificial neural network, and good agreements between the experimentally measured values and the predicted ones were achieved. The work hardening analysis and onset of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) were investigated. The processing map reveals a domain of DRX at the temperature range of 620-673 K and strain rate range of 0.001-0.01 s−1, with its peak efficiency of 32% at 623 K and 0.001 s−1,which are the optimum values of the parameters for hot working of the T4-treated ZK60 alloy. The strain level has a great effect on the processing maps and lower temperatures and higher strain rates should be avoided during hot working processes. DRX model indicates that DRX of ZK60 alloy is controlled by the rate of nucleation, which is slower than the rate of migration.

Online Cutting Temperature Measurement System Based Thermocouple

Wang zhengyu,Yu xiaoyang,Li guanghui,Tan guangyu 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Control and Automation Vol.7 No.10

In order to measure cutter temperature, the on-line thermocouple temperature measurement system was proposed. In this system, temperature sensing element thermocouple was welded in the flank face close to the cutting edge with double bare wires welding way. With this method, this system has advantages of a single point temperature measurement and no effect on cutter temperature distribution. For a higher sampling rate, two AD were used to sample alternately; and for the convenient signal transmission when the cutter is rotating at high speed, wireless transmission was adopted to transmit thermocouple output signal and cold side temperature signal to the host computer. After temperature compensation to the cold side, the compensated temperature will be real-time displayed, stored and played back. System measurement range is 0 ~ 1300 ° C, and the measurement uncertainty is 0.58%. For 8000rpm rotational speed of XH714D machine, experimental results show that the system can measure cutter temperature online, and has advantages of low cost and great practicability.

Effect of SiO2 additives on the microstructure and energy storage density of SrTiO3 ceramics

        Guanghui Zhao,Yiqiu Li,Hanxing Liu,Jing Xu,Hua Hao,Minghe Cao,Zhiyong Yu 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2012 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.13 No.3

The compositions of (1-x) SrTiO3-x SiO2 were prepared by a solid-state reaction. The crystalline structure, microstructure and energy storage performance were studied for the purpose of a potential application in high energy density capacitors. Fine grains with an average size of about 400 nm were obtained by adding SiO2 to SrTiO3 ceramics, which leads to a great enhancement in the breakdown performance of the samples. For SiO2-added samples, the notable increase in breakdown strength makes an obvious increase in energy storage density. With 15 vol.% addition, the sample exhibited an average breakdown strength of 36.1 kV/mm, and an energy storage density of 1.155 J/cm3.

High‑frequency planar transformer optimal design and analysis

        Yu Tang,Guanghui Wang,Zhe Shi,Jincai Niu 전력전자학회 2023 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.23 No.2

Due to the rapid development of modern industry, there is an increasing demand for isolated switching power supplies (SMPS) with a high efficiency and a high power density. Magnetic components, which occupy most of the converter volume, have been a key bottleneck in achieving high power density. This paper presents an optimal design method for high power density planar transformers. Applying the principle of flux cancellation, a matrix transformer that originally needed an independent magnetic core was integrated into a single magnetic core to reduce the volume of the core. Meanwhile, a loss model of the transformer is established, and an optimized design method of the winding structure is given according to that model to further reduce the winding loss of the transformer. Finally, an LLC converter with a resonant frequency of 1 MHz is designed to verify the practical performance of the proposed transformer.

CIRCULAR LIST COLORINGS OF SOME GRAPHS

        WANG, GUANGHUI,LIU, GUIZHEN,YU, JIGUO 한국전산응용수학회 2006 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.20 No.1

The circular list coloring is a circular version of list colorings of graphs. Let $\chi_{c,l}$ denote the circular choosability(or the circular list chromatic number). In this paper, the circular choosability of outer planar graphs and odd wheel is discussed.

      • Optimization of annealing treatment parameters in a twin roll cast and warm rolled ZK60 alloy sheet

        Chen, Hongmei,Yu, Huashun,Kang, Suk Bong,Cho, Jae Hyoung,Min, Guanghui Elsevier 2010 Materials science & engineering. properties, micro Vol.527 No.4

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>The microstructure of twin roll cast and warm rolled ZK60 alloy sheet was investigated using OM and TEM technique after annealing treatment at the temperature ranging from 300°C to 400°C. Tensile test at room temperature was performed to show the influence of annealing treatment on mechanical properties. Static recrystallization (SRX) was observed during annealing treatment of ZK60 alloy sheet at and above 300°C. Shear bands, dislocations and twins play an important role during static recrystallization and serve as nucleation sites. Disc-shaped precipitates could be found in annealed ZK60 alloy sheet. Higher temperature annealing treatment resulted in higher density precipitates, and at this condition the dispersion strengthening particles improved the ability of resistance to softening at elevated temperature. Annealing treatment at 375°C for 103s can be considered to be the optimum annealing treatment, and under this condition the tensile strength, yield strength and elongation are 388MPa, 301MPa and 22.9%, respectively.</P>
