      • Design of 3D Data Acquisition System on Handicrafts

        The 3D data acquisition system is a very effective means to protect handicrafts. This paper analyzed the advantage of 3D laser scanning technology and designed a 3D data acquisition system on handicrafts base on it. The hardware of this system includes 6 parts: laser range finder, computer, servo system, interface board, distance data instrument, angle data instrument. The software of this system have 4 functions: parameter setting, automatic scanning control, scanning data processing, fault diagnosis. This paper discussed the operation of the software platform and development tools, modular design of software, design of software system framework and information fusion of 3D data acquisition. This paper completed the fusion and matching of point cloud data.

        Correlation of the size and shape of the solid particles in synovial fluid and knee joint disease

        The shape and size of solid particles and their distribution in synovial uid were observed and determined as functions of knee jointdiseases by using a multi-dimensional microscope. The results show that there is a close correlation between them, so that the measurement of the parameters might offer a reliable method for diagnosing joint diseases at an early stage and their prognosis.

        Multi-threshold remote sensing image segmentation with improved ant colony optimizer with salp foraging

        Remote sensing images can provide direct and accurate feedback on urban surface morphology and geographic conditions. They can be used as an auxiliary means to collect data for current geospatial information systems, which are also widely used in city public safety. Therefore, it is necessary to research remote sensing images. Therefore, we adopt the multi-threshold image segmentation method in this paper to segment the remote sensing images for research. We first introduce salp foraging behavior into the continuous ant colony optimization algorithm (ACOR) and construct a novel ACOR version based on salp foraging (SSACO). The original algorithm’s convergence and ability to avoid hitting local optima are enhanced by salp foraging behavior. In order to illustrate this key benefit, SSACO is first tested against 14 fundamental algorithms using 30 benchmark test functions in IEEE CEC2017. Then, SSACO is compared with 14 other algorithms. The experimental results are examined from various angles, and the findings convincingly demonstrate the main power of SSACO. We performed segmentation comparison studies based on 12 remote sensing images between SSACO segmentation techniques and several peer segmentation approaches to demonstrate the benefits of SSACO in remote sensing image segmentation. Peak signal-to-noise ratio, structural similarity index, and feature similarity index evaluation of the segmentation results demonstrated the benefits of the SSACO-based segmentation approach. SSACO is an excellent optimizer since it seeks to serve as a guide and a point of reference for using remote sensing image algorithms in urban public safety.

        GRAPHENE AS TUNABLE STATIONARY PHASE ADDITIVE FOR ENANTIOSEPARATION

        Graphene-based biosensor and chiral sensor have made significant progress in recent years. Because of the similarity of the optical enantiomers, enantioseparation is perhaps the most subtle to achieve. Developing more effectively chiral separation techniques based on graphene is highly desirable. Herein, pristine graphene was prepared and then applicated to assist resolution of two racemic drugs of propranolol and ofloxacin using thin-layer chromatography (TLC). In comparison with TLC chiral separation by only using pure D-(-)-tartaric acid as a selector with relatively low degree of separation, a mixture of graphene and D-(-)-tartaric acid is more attractive, efficient and ready available. The high specific resolution ability for racemic compounds aided by graphene might allow its potential application in future chiral separation technologies.

        Superior tribology property of zinc phosphate impregnated graphite block at high-temperature oxidative friction

        High-temperature friction performances of graphite blocks (GBs) and zinc phosphate impregnated graphite blocks (IGBs) were evaluated under various friction temperatures. The surface of IGB exhibited extremely lower average friction coefficient values, that was 0.007 at 400 °C and 0.008 at 450 °C, in comparison to that of GB (0.13 at 400 °C and 0.16 at 450 °C, respectively). The worn surface of IGB in the high-temperature friction test was smoother and more complete than that of GB. The wear under high temperature and load caused the transformation of zinc pyrophosphate to zinc metaphosphate and the formation of a continuous large-area boundary lubrication layer combined with graphite and metallic element on the wear surface. The superior tribology property of IGB could be attributed to the digestion of iron oxides by tribo-chemical reactions and passivation of the exposed dangling covalent bonds. Specifically, the layered structure generated on the IGB wear interface effectively decreased the adhesive forces and prevented the surface from serious damage.

        The Synthesis and Preliminary Activity Assay In Vitro of Peptide-like Derivatives as APN Inhibitors

        Both the aminopeptidase N (APN) and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) are essential metallopeptidases in the development of tumor invasion and angiogenesis. A series of novel peptide-like derivatives were designed and synthesized as antitumor agents. Their structures were confirmed by IR, MS, and $^1H$-NMR. These compounds exhibited potent inhibitory activities against APN and low activity against MMP in vitro. The derivatives with methoxy group show better activities than those with other substituted group and could be used as lead compounds for exploring new APN inhibitors in the future.

        Effect of Dietary Concentrate:forage Ratios and Undegraded Dietary Protein on Nitrogen Balance and Urinary Excretion of Purine Derivatives in Dorper×thin-tailed Han Crossbred Lambs

        This study aimed to investigate dietary concentrate:forage ratios (C:F) and undegraded dietary protein (UDP) on nitrogen balance and urinary excretion of purine derivatives (PD) in lambs. Four Dorper${\times}$thin-tailed Han crossbred castrated lambs with $62.3{\pm}1.9$ kg body weight at 10 months of age were randomly assigned to four dietary treatments in a $2{\times}2$ factorial arrangement of two levels of C:F (40:60 and 60:40) and two levels of UDP (35% and 50% of CP), according to a complete $4{\times}4$ Latin-square design. Each experimental period lasted for 19 d. After a 7-d adaptation period, lambs were moved into individual metabolism crates for 12 d including 7 d of adaption and 5 d of metabolism trial. During the metabolism trial, total urine was collected for 24 h and spot urine samples were also collected at different times. Urinary PD was measured using a colorimetric method and creatinine was measured using an automated analyzer. Intake of dry matter (DM) (p<0.01) and organic matter (OM) (p<0.01) increased as the level of UDP decreased. Fecal N was not affected by dietary treatment (p>0.05) while urinary N increased as the level of UDP decreased (p<0.05), but decreased as dietary C:F increased (p<0.05). Nitrogen retention increased as dietary C:F increased (p<0.05). As dietary C:F increased, urinary excretion of PD increased (p<0.05), but was not affected by dietary UDP (p>0.05) or interaction between dietary treatments (p>0.05). Daily excretion of creatinine was not affected by dietary treatments (p<0.05), with an average value of $0.334{\times}0.005$ mmol/kg $BW^{0.75}$. A linear correlation was found between total PD excretion and PDC index ($R^2$ = 0.93). Concentrations of creatinine and PDC index in spot urine were unaffected by sampling time (p>0.05) and a good correlation was found between the PDC index (average value of three times) of spot urine and daily excretion of PD ($R^2$ = 0.88). These results suggest that for animals fed ad libitum, the PDC index in spot urine is effective to predict daily excretion of PD. In order to improve the accuracy of the spot sampling technique, an appropriate lag phase between the time of feeding and sampling should be determined so that the sampling time can coincide with the peak concentration of PD in the urine.

        Comparative analysis of type 2 diabetes-associated gut microbiota between Han and Mongolian people

        Due to the different rates of diabetes in different ethnic groupsand the structural differences in intestinal microbiota, thisstudy evaluated the changes in diabetes-related intestinal microbiotain two ethnic groups. Fifty-six stool samples werecollected from subjects from the Han and Mongolian ethnicgroups in China, including participants without diabetes(non-diabetic, ND) and with type 2 diabetes (T2D). The 16SrDNA gene V3 + V4 area was extracted from microbiota,amplified by PCR, and used to perform high-throughput sequencingand screen differential microbiota associated withethnicity. The results showed that there were 44 T2D-relatedbacterial markers in the Han subjects, of which Flavonifractor,Alistipes, Prevotella, Oscillibacter, Clostridium XlVa,and Lachnospiracea_incertae_sedis were most closely relatedto diabetes. There were 20 T2D-related bacterial markers inthe Mongolian subjects, of which Fastidiosipila and Barnesiellawere most closely related to diabetes. The commonmarkers of T2D bacteria in the two ethnic groups were Papillibacterand Bifidobacterium. There were 17 metabolic pathwayswith significant differences between the ND and T2Dgroups in the Han group, and 29 metabolic pathways in theMongolian group. The glutamatergic metabolic pathway wasthe only common metabolic pathway in two ethnic groups. The composition and function of diabetes-related bacteriawere significantly different among the different ethnic groups,which suggested that the influence of ethnic differences shouldbe fully considered when studying the association betweendiabetes and bacteria. In addition, the common bacterialmarkers found in diabetic patients of different ethnic groupsin this study can be used as potential targets to study the pathogenesisand treatment of diabetes.

        Rhein lysinate inhibits monocyte adhesion to human umbilical vein endothelial cells by blocking p38 signaling pathway

        The objective of this study was to investigate theeffect of rhein lysinate (RHL) on monocyte adhesion and itsmechanism. 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazoliumbromide (MTT) assay was used to determine thegrowth inhibition by drugs. The monocyte chemoattractantprotein (MCP)-1 levels were assayed using MCP-1 ELISA. The expression of proteins was detected by Western blottinganalysis. The results indicated that RHL inhibited monocyteadhesion in a dose- and time-dependent manner. RHL(\20 lmol/L) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) had no effecton viability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Therefore, 20 lmol/L RHL was selected for this study. RHLinhibited secretion ofMCP-1 induced by LPS and expressionof intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM)-1 and vascularcell adhesion molecule (VCAM)-1. In the meantime, bothRHL and p38 inhibitor (SB203580) inhibited phosphorylationof p38 and mitogen-activated protein kinase-activatedprotein kinase-2 (MAPKAPK-2) and transcription andexpression of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1. In conclusion, RHLinhibits the transcription and expression of ICAM-1 andVCAM-1 by the p38/MAPKAPK-2 signaling pathway, andthe effect ofRHLon transcription and expression of ICAM-1and VCAM-1 is similar to p38 inhibitor. RHL could be aprophylactic drug for atherosclerosis.
