뒤틀린 쿨롱 효과들을 포함하는 (e,e'p) 상호작용에 대한 △-공명의 적용
정윤근,정호용 여수대학교 1998 論文集 Vol.12 No.2
We apply the △-resonance to the (e,e'p) reaction with the inclusion of Coulomb distortion effects. The motivation leads to treat the resonance with non-static △ current operator in nucleus by using Dirac-Hartree single particle model for the ground state and relativistic optical model for the knocked-out proton. It is assumed that the π-meson created by virtual photon through the △-resonance is absorbed in the target nucleus. The DWBA Calculation shows that the contribution of the △-resonance to the (e,e'p) reaction has 10~15% effect for a large energy transfer 250MeV for knocked-out proton from the s shell of ?? Ca in parallel and perpendicular kinematics.

In this paper, an improved tracking method by adjusting bounding box for keypoints extracted by SURF algorithm is proposed. The proposed method is developed to improve the performance of tracking -learning-detection (TLD) algorithm. Adjustment of the bounding box is obtained by calculating the position change of the keypoints of objects in the current and previous frames. Experimental results show that the proposed method provides improved tracking performance in TLD algorithm.
Exposure to Stressors Facilitates Long-Term Synaptic Potentiation in the Lateral Habenula
Park, Hoyong,Rhee, Jeehae,Park, Kwanghoon,Han, Jung-Soo,Malinow, Roberto,Chung, ChiHye Society for Neuroscience 2017 The Journal of neuroscience Vol.37 No.25

The lateral habenula (LHb) is a small part of the epithalamus that projects to monoamine centers in the brain. Previously, neurotrans-mission onto the LHb was shown to be abnormally potentiated in animal models of depression. However, synaptic plasticity in this brain area and the effect of stressor exposure on synaptic plasticity of the LHb have not been investigated. Thus, we explored whether the LHb undergoes dynamic changes in synaptic efficacy or not. First, we observed that a moderate LTP occurs in a fraction of LHb neurons obtained from naive Sprague Dawley rats. Interestingly, a single exposure to acute stressors, such as inescapable foot shock or restraint plus tail shock (RTS), significantly enhances the magnitude of LTP in the LHb. We also observed an increased number of LHb neurons expressing phosphorylated cAMP response element-binding protein (pCREB) after exposure to stressors, which may contribute to determine the threshold for LTP induction. LTP induction in the LHb resulted in an additional increase in the number of pCREB expressing neurons in stress-exposed animals but not in naive control animals. Together, we showed that LHb neurons have heterogeneous propensity for synaptic potentiation at rest; however, a single exposure to stressors greatly facilitates LTP induction in the LHb, suggesting that fundamental alterations in synaptic plasticity in the LHb may occur in animal models of depression or post-traumatic stress disorder.

Overlay multicasting has received a lot of attention as a core technology for multimedia streaming service. In this paper, we consider the discrete optimal rate allocation problem in multimedia overlay multicasting, which has been proposed by Akbari et al.[2]. The computational complexity of this problem is not known. Thus, we propose a special case which can be solved in polynomial time.

Evolutionary immune system upgradation is done by all living organism to survive from the invading pathogens. Insects has a strong defense system comprising of anatomical barrier, humoral antimicrobial peptide (AMP) production and cellular immune components. Locusta migratoria (L. migratoria) is an agricultural pest insect migrating long distance might encounter distinct pathogens. Owing to this, we aimed in identifying AMPs present in the L. migratoria and elucidate the antimicrobial activity. The migratory locust was immunized with Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans mixture, then RNA was isolated and sequenced. The L. migratoria transcriptome was de novo assembled using trinity and screened for AMPs propensity specifically molecular and aggregation properties. The novelty is tested by blasting in known AMP databases. Finally, ob tained novel putative AMPs were then tested for antimicrobial and hemolytic activity. The prediction resulted in 3,524 putative AMPs which was further screened down to ten AMPs for final testing. Two peptides showing promising antimicrobial effects were obtained. All the analyzed peptides showed no hemolysis confirms its nontoxicity. Thus, our peptides could be promising drug candidate and can be used as an alternative to antibacterial or antifungal therapy with further validations.
Atherogenic dyslipidemia promotes autoimmune follicular helper T cell responses via IL-27

The incidence of atherosclerosis is higher among patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE); however, the mechanism by which an atherogenic environment affects autoimmunity remains unclear. We found that reconstitution of atherosclerosis-prone Apoe(-/-) and Ldlr(-/-) mice with bone marrow from lupus-prone BXD2 mice resulted in increased autoantibody production and glomerulonephritis. This enhanced disease was associated with an increase in CXCR3(+) follicular helper T cells (T-FH cells). T-FH cells isolated from Apoe(-/-) mice had higher expression of genes associated with inflammatory responses and SLE and were more potent in inducing production of the immunoglobulin IgG2c. Mechanistically, the atherogenic environment induced the cytokine IL-27 from dendritic cells in a Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)-dependent manner, which in turn triggered the differentiation of CXCR3(+) T-FH cells while inhibiting the differentiation of follicular regulatory T cells. Blockade of IL-27 signals diminished the increased T-FH cell responses in atherogenic mice. Thus, atherogenic dyslipidemia augments autoimmune T-FH cell responses and subsequent IgG2c production in a TLR4- and IL-27-dependent manner.
