        The city's countryside is adjusting to change by urbanisation. As it, the recent phenomena in this area decline in rural landuse and damage of landscape which has local characteristics. But, no study think together landuse and landscape at present in this area. The aim of this study was to clarify causes and problems of change by investigating intersection of environments and causes, processes and results of landuse and landscape in city's countryside. The sites are 2 Up and 2 Myon belong to Yongin Gun closed by Seoul City. These site are rapidly changed and almost intermediate between city and rural at present. As methods, I exeminated not only various statistical data but also unstatistical data. This case study revealed the diversity of change in city's countryside. 1) The change of landuse is clarified by Local Main commercial district is Yongin Up, Development of Traffic and industry is Kihung Up, Bed-town closed by city is Suji Myon and Recreation development is Pogok Myon. Each landuse divided by landscape types as local diversity in several Ri. Also each case seperatied by its special shape from each Ri and have causes and problems. 2) From these results did I point out problems and make a proposal about national landuse plan and landscape management in city's countryside. It stressed the need of a long-ranged policy of development in countryside considering local characteristics and residential environments. This paper was the start of case study about landuse and landscape in city's countryside.

        주민참여형 마을녹화사업의 사회적 자본 형성 모형

        급격한 도시화로 인한 사회, 경제 그리고 환경적 문제들이 최근 다양한 시민 참여형사업으로 극복되고 있다. 이는 도시재생에서 마을 사업에 이르기까지 현장중심의 협력적 운영체계를 통한 지역 거버넌스와 주민주도의 파트너십이 성공 요소로 여겨지고 있다. 이 중 거주민에게 직접적으로 영향을 주고 자발성이 필요한 마을녹화사업은 공적 공간과 사적 공간의 공유로 인해 다양한 참여주체들의 역할과 협력이 요구된다. 사회적 자본은 신뢰와 참여, 네트워크와 규범 등을 중심으로 한 관계자본으로 위 사업의 지속가능성과 참여의 활성화에 핵심역할을 담당함에 따라 이에 대한 실증적 연구가 요구되는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 도시의 녹지 체계를 생활권까지 확대하는 참여형 녹화사업에 있어 사회적 자본의 형성 모형을 구축하기 위한 기초연구를 수행하였다. 참여의 주체 유형과 사업 진행의 구성요소, 사회자본 형성의 분석 요소를 문헌조사와 참여 전문가 심층인터뷰를 통해 추출하고 검증하였다. 이는 추후 도시의 참여형 생활권녹화확산에 지속가능성과 활성화전략을 실증적으로 분석하기 위한 사회적 자본 형성 모형의 기초자료를 마련하기 위함이다. Social, economic and environmental problems caused by rapid urbanization have been recently overcome by various civic participation projects. Local governance and resident - led partnership through field - based cooperative operating systems from urban regeneration to village projects are considered success factors. Among these, the village greening project which directly affects the residents and requires spontaneity requires the role and cooperation of the various participating actors due to the sharing of public space and private space. Social capital plays a key role in the sustainability and participation of the above - mentioned business as a relational capital centered on trust and participation, network and norms. Therefore, empirical research is needed. In this study, basic research was carried out to build a formation model of social capital in participation - type greening project expanding urban green space system to living area. We analyzed the elements of participation, the components of business progress, and the factors of social capital formation through literature review and in - depth interviews with participating experts. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data of social capital formation model for analyzing sustainability and activation strategies in the future.

        Gender-dependent hepatic alterations in H-<i>ras</i>12V transgenic mice

        <P><B>Background/Aims</B></P><P>Although it has been proposed that Ras and related signal pathways play important roles in hepatocarcinogenesis, appropriate in vivo models are lacking.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>Two hepatocellular carcinoma lines were established using pronuclear microinjection techniques to create an insertion of the H-<I>ras</I>12V transgene under the control of the albumin enhancer/promoter. The resulting phenotypes and related molecular events were then examined.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>Male (but not female) transgenic mice older than 2 months showed hepatic alterations with a high degree of reproducibility, as compared to the wild-type mice. The liver/body-weight ratios were lower for the females than for the males. The transgene-carrying line 28 was investigated extensively with respect to molecular differences between the genders. Male hepatocytes showed higher Ras activity and higher reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels than female hepatocytes. The female hepatocytes showed higher expression levels of p53 and p21<SUP>Waf1/Cip1</SUP>, enhanced cytochrome <I>c</I> release, which correlated with cell cycle arrest, and higher levels of hypodiploid cell formation, as compared to the male hepatocytes.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>The gender-related differences in molecular responses to activated Ras may have implications for the prevalence of hepatic alterations in males. Our transgenic mice represent a potentially valuable animal model for future investigations.</P>

        도시하천의 보전 및 이용에 관한 주민과 전문가 인식 분석

        도시하천은 이치수의 기능과 함께 생태적으로 건강한 도시환경을 제공함으로써 시민의 삶에 핵심축이 되어오고 있다. 반면 도시 고밀화에 의한 기반시설 확장 등과 더불어 지역의 하천에 대한 보전과 이용 측면에서 상충이 발생하고 있다. 지속가능한 하천을 위해서는 적절한 합의와 조율이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구는 주민참여 협치예산을 통한 주민 제안 공론화의 장에서 나타난 다양한 의견을 분석하고자 한다. 은평구의 6개 하천을 대상으로 이용자 인식 조사와 전문가 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 도시생활권 지방하천과 소하천의 안정적이고 지속가능한 보전과 적절하고 균형 있는 이용 방안을 제안하였다. Urban river have been a key pillar in citizens’ lives through the healthy urban environment of ecological nature along with the function of this dimension. On the other hand, conflicts are occurring in terms of conservation and use of rivers in the region along with the expansion of infrastructure due to urban densification. Appropriate agreement and coordination are needed for sustainable streams. This study aims to analyze various opinions through public discussion of residents’ proposals through the resident participation cooperation budget. User awareness surveys and expert interviews were conducted on six rivers in Eunpyeong-gu. Through this, stable and sustainable preservation of local and small rivers and appropriate and balanced use measures were proposed.

        CHIP and BAP1 Act in Concert to Regulate INO80 Ubiquitination and Stability for DNA Replication

        The INO80 chromatin remodeling complex has roles in many essential cellular processes, including DNA replication. However, the mechanisms that regulate INO80 in these processes remain largely unknown. We previously reported that the stability of Ino80, the catalytic ATPase subunit of INO80, is regulated by the ubiquitin proteasome system and that BRCA1-associated protein-1 (BAP1), a nuclear deubiquitinase with tumor suppressor activity, stabilizes Ino80 via deubiquitination and promotes replication fork progression. However, the E3 ubiquitin ligase that targets Ino80 for proteasomal degradation was unknown. Here, we identified the C-terminus of Hsp70-interacting protein (CHIP), the E3 ubiquitin ligase that functions in cooperation with Hsp70, as an Ino80-interacting protein. CHIP polyubiquitinates Ino80 in a manner dependent on Hsp70. Contrary to our expectation that CHIP degrades Ino80, CHIP instead stabilizes Ino80 by extending its half-life. The data suggest that CHIP stabilizes Ino80 by inhibiting degradative ubiquitination. We also show that CHIP works together with BAP1 to enhance the stabilization of Ino80, leading to its chromatin binding. Interestingly, both depletion and overexpression of CHIP compromise replication fork progression with little effect on fork stalling, as similarly observed for BAP1 and Ino80, indicating that an optimal cellular level of Ino80 is important for replication fork speed but not for replication stress suppression. This work therefore idenitifes CHIP as an E3 ubiquitin ligase that stabilizes Ino80 via nondegradative ubiquitination and suggests that CHIP and BAP1 act in concert to regulate Ino80 ubiquitination to fine-tune its stability for efficient DNA replication.

        Sol-Gel Transition in Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate-Plasticized Poly(vinyl chloride)

        The gelation for di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)-plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) was studied by measuring time-resolved small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and a flow of the solutions in test tube. It was found that for the gelation there were three regimes. At Regime I, the solution rapidly changed to a gel, and the SAXS intensity showed a peak and the peak intensity increased, keeping the peak angle constant. Applying the SAXS intensity to the kinetic analysis of the liquid-liquid phase separation, it was revealed that the spinodal decomposition proceeded to develop a periodic length of 29.9 nanometer in size, a hydrogen-bonding-type association in polymer rich phase followed, and then it induced fast gelation rate. At Regime II, the gelation slowly occurred and the SAXS intensity was not observed, suggesting that a homogeneous gel network was formed by a hydrogen-bonding. At regime III, the solution was a homogeneous sol.

        The purpose of the study is to derive plans to revitalize landscaping policy and landscape professions by investigating policy issues in the landscape area and analyzing the governmental organization's landscape-related policy projects, functions and demands of public officials. The content of this study is to investigate current issues of landscape education and industry in Korea, and analyze landscape policies and business plans, and the functions and demands of public officials in landscape architecture. Finally, it proposes institutional improvement, employment expansion plans, and administrative matters for policy promotion plans for appropriate input and activation of landscape experts.

      • 커뮤니티디자인을 통한 주민참여형 마을환경개선사업의 활성화 방안

        This study examines the features and contemporary design development of the community, with the participation of the target system, and deployment methods. Also it emphasized the importance and role of the village community as a review of the various villages and cultural activities of town. Seoul 's residents participating in the recording business case studies, ‘Seoul, flowers blooming', and the business of ‘Residents themselves Extravaganza alley' was linked to a various community participation approach the design of the 2000s and greening projects. This project introduced the business model of community participation configure the local residents and community groups, organizations with an expert talent donations. In addition, we classify the importance and role of participation by residents consciousness through a survey of participating experts, this administration, the practical procedures and methods to support the role of established and expert assistance were proposed.

      • 제천시의 방재형 도시 근린공원 조성 계획

        급속한 기후변화에 따른 자연재해의 증가와 재해 규모의 대형화 및 다양화는 근본적인 해결 방안을 요구하고 있다. 특히 도시 공간은 도시 인구의 증가 현상과 불투수층의 기반시설에 기초하여 재해의 피해와 대응에 대한 복합적 대책을 수립해야 하는 실정이다. 이에 공공 공간인 도시의 녹색공간을 활용하여 방재공간을 확보하고, 재해저감형 공원시스템을 도입함으로써 토지 매입의 경제적 문제와 방재시스템의 문제를 동시에 해결할 수 있다. 각 지자체는 최근 발표된 국토교통부의 가이드라인을 통해 재해저감 유형별 시스템과 선도 사업을 선정하여 진행 중에 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 도시민의 생활 건강과 행복의 녹색 공간인 도보권 근린공원을 대상으로 도시의 물 관리와 소생태계 보전을 함께 갖추는 도시 녹지 공간을 방재형 근린공원의 조성 모델로 제시하는데 있다. 이를 통해 추후 기존 도시 구조 내 생활권 근린공원의 기후변화 적응 모델로 활용하는데 기여하고자 한다. The rapid increase in the number of climate disasters combined with the scale of change and the diversification of natural disasters require a radical solution. In particular, the urban space is more complex, therefore we need to establish measures for disaster response and how to react to damaged infrastructure based on the phenomenon of an increase in the urban population and the impermeable layer being extended. The social problems related to the economic burden of land purchase and the securing of a disaster prevention system can be solved simultaneously by introducing the park system for disaster reduction into the public land of the green space in the city. The local government has recently adapted diverse systems of disaster mitigation and carried out pioneer projects according to the guidelines for the construction of the urban park for disaster prevention published by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The purpose of this study is to propose a composition model for neighborhood parks to prevent disaster through urban green spaces which has the functions of water management and biotope conservation. The result of this study will contribute to utilize the climate change adaptation model for living area neighborhood parks in the existing urban structure.

      • 경관생태학적 관점에서의 세종시 중심행정타운 조성계획

        This is the urban design master plan for the Public Administration Town. The project proposes a newly configured city, where environmental and democratic principles are expressed in the shape of the urban fabric. To achieve the goal, the concepts of 'Flat City, Link City, and Zero City' were introduced. These concept show "Space fabric arrange, connection and material circulation and flow from ecological landscape". 'Flat City' shaped the government buildings into an iconic plane, and democratic society. The iconic plane's surface extends across the whole city, creating an expansive public park, which is easily accessible, and open to nature. 'Link City' connects governmental agencies to enhance their function and interactions. Government facilities, parks and green spaces, cultural facilities, commercial zones, and residential districts areas create an interconnecting network. 'Zero City' has integrated infrastructure systems to reuse waste, reduce pollution, and provide essential city functions. It creates a new wildlife habitat, making 'Zero City' a good neighborhood. This proposal was made to integrate historical, regional, nature experiences with various approaches in architecture, city, and landscape architecture. 본 계획은 중심행정타운의 마스터플랜으로 새로운 도시환경을 설정함으로서 도시조직의 형성에 있어 환경적이고 민주적인 원리를 나타내고자 하였다. 이러한 목표를 위해 'Flat city, Link City, Zero City'의 개념을 도입하였다. 이는 경관생태학의 관점에서 나타나는 공간구조의 배열, 연결 그리고 물질순환과 흐름을 나타낸다. 'Flat City'는 iconic plane으로 나타나는 정부청사의 형태로 공공을 위한 공원으로 확장되며 접근의 용이성과 함께 자연 속에서 모두에게 열려있다. 'Link City'는 보다 효율적인 기능과 소통을 위한 전략으로 연결된다. 정부기관과 공원, 녹지공간, 문화시설, 상업과 주거지역들이 상호연결의 네트워크를 만들어낸다. 'Zero City'는 도시기반시스템을 통합하여 쓰레기재활용, 오염저감 그리고 도시기초기능을 공급함과 동시에 새로운 야생서식처를 창조하여 도시의 이웃을 만든다. 이 제안은 건축, 도시, 조경에 의해 역사, 지역, 자연의 경험을 하나로 결합한 계획이다.
