        교반조에서 비혼화성 액상 ( n - 헥산 / 물 ) 계의 액 - 액분산

        N-헥산과 증류수로 이루어진 비혼화성 액상계에서 교반에 의한 액-액분산을 해석하였다. 교반기는 blade형태가 flat, 60mesh와 40mesh의 금망, 그리고 60mesh금망의 외부에 금속띠를 두른 4가지의 6-bladed turbine 교반기를 사용하였다. 실험결과, 동일한 교반속도에서 유기상의 분산정도와 교반기의 소요동력은 blade형태가 flat>solid edged>60mesh>40mesh의 순서이었으며 유기상의 부피비가 증가할수록 완전분산에 필요한 최소교반속도가 증가되었다. 또한 분산상의 액적의 평균직경은 교반속도의 증가에 따라 감소하였으며 동일한 교반속도에서는 solid edged<flat<60mesh<40mesh의 순서이었다. 완전분산에서 최소소요동력은 blade형태에 무관하게 거의 동일하였으나 금속띠를 두른 금망의 교반기가 가장 작고 균일한 크기의 액적으로 분산되어 우수한 액-액분산의 성능을 나타내었다. 이때 난류영역에서 Power number는 Reynolds number에 무관하게 일정하였고 액적의 Sauter평균직경(d_(32))은 다음과 같이 유기상의 부피비(Φ)와 Weber number(N_(We))의 함수로 나타낼 수 있었다. d_(32)/D=a(1+bΦ)N_(We)^(-0.6) The effect of agitation on liquld-liquid dispersion was investigated in an immisible liquid phase(n-hexane/water) system. Four different types of six-bladed turbine impellers were used: a flat blade, two screen blades and a solid edged 60 mesh screen blade. We found that the extent of dispersion of organic phase and power consumption of agitator were decreased in the order of flat, solid edged, 60 mesh, and 40 mesh blades at same agitation speed. And the minimum agitation speed for complete dispersion of organic phase was increased with increasing volume fraction of organic phase. Also, mean diameter of liquid droplets of dispersed phase was decreased with increasing agitation speed and it was increased in the order of solid edged, flat, 60 mesh, and 40 mesh screen blades at same agitation speed. At complete dispersion, the minimum power consumption was not vary significantly with impeller blade types, but the solid edged screen blade impeller gave the smallest and uniform sizes of liquid droplets, and it had a good performance for liquid-liquid dispersion. In this condition, Power number was not affected by Reynolds number and it was constant in turbulent flow region, and Sauter mean diameter(d_(32)) of liquid droplets was expressed as a function of volume fraction of organic phase(Φ) and Weber number(N_(We)) as follows: d_(32)/D =a(1+bΦ)N_(We)^(-0.6)

        무가온 시설재배 감귤에서 계절초기 목화진딧물 개체군의 정착경로에 관한 연구

        목화진딧물(Aphis gossypii Glover) (Hemiptera: Aphididae)은 감귤에서 그을음병을 유발하여 감귤 과실에 경제적으로 피해를 주는 해충이다. 본 연구는 무가온 하우스 감귤에서 계절초기 목화진딧물이 어떠한 경로를 거쳐서 감귤나무에 정착하는지 구명하기 위하여 수행하였다. 감귤나무에서 진딧물 월동알 조사결과 가을순이 난 여름순에서 많이 발견되었는데 월동알은 대부분 조팝나무진딧물이었으며, 목화진딧물 월동알은 발견되지 않았다. 봄순에 정착하는 목화진딧물 유시형 성충은 크게 4월 하순(조기비산)과 5월 하순(지연비산)에 두 차례 관측되었다. 지연비산은 완전생활형 간모세대에서 유시형이 출현하는 시기와 일치하였다. 조기비산 시기에 황색수반트랩에서도 목화진딧물 유시형 성충이 유살되었는데 확실하지는 않으나 월동잡초에서 잔존하고 있던 불완전세대 개체군으로 추정되었다. 결과적으로 무가온 하우스 감귤에서 목화진딧물의 정착은 불완전생활형의 조기비산과 완전생활형의 지연비산으로 일어난다는 것이 확인되었다. The cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii Glover (Hemiptera: Aphididae) infests citrus orchards, causing sooty mold damage to the fruits. This study was conducted to investigate the colonizing route of A. gossypii in citrus orchards in a non-heating plastic-film house during the early season. The overwintering eggs of the aphids are frequently found on summer shoots of the citrus trees. The eggs were mostly those of Aphis citricola, without any A. gossypii when hatched. The colonization of citrus trees by alate A. gossypii in non-heating plastic-film houses was mainly observed twice, with advanced flight in late April and delayed flight in late May. The delayed flight was synchronized with the timing of the emergence of alate A. gossypii from the fundatrix generation in the holocyclic life cycle. During advanced flight in closed citrus orchards, alate A. gossypii were caught in yellow water traps installed in the fields, and the populations were found to originate from the surviving populations of the anholocyclic life cycle. Consequently, we concluded that citrus tree colonization with A. gossypii occurred during the advanced flight of the anholocyclic and the delayed flight of the holocyclic life cycle.

        n - 헥산 / p - TSA 수용액계에서 교반에 의한 유기상의 분산

        n-핵산과 40 wt % p-TSA수용액으로 이루어진 비흔화성 액상계에서 교반에 의한 유기상의 분산을 해석하였다. 사용된 교반기는 blade의 형태가 flat와 금망으로 된 4가지 형태의 6-bladed turbine 교반기를 사용하였다. 실험결과, 동일한 교반속도에서 유기상의 분산정도는blade의 형태가 flat, 60 mesh, 40 mesh, 20 mesh의 순서로 감소하였고 계면활성제인 TBA의 농도가 증가할수록, 그리고 유기상의 부피비가 작을수록 유기상은 잘 분산 되었다. 또한 완전분산에 필요한 최소교만속도는 flat, 60 mesh, 40 mesh, 20 mesh의 순서로 증가하였으나 최소소요동력은 거의 동일하였다. 이때 Power number와 Reynolds number와의 관재는 N_p = _aN_(Re)^b이었으며 교반기의 형태에 따른 상수 a와 흔합계의 종류에 따른 상수 b의 값은 각각 2200∼4100, -0.69∼-0.63 범위이었다. The effect of agitation on the dispersion of organic phase was investigated in an immiscible liquid system (n-hexane/40 wt % p-TSA aqueous solution). Otherwise, it was increased with increasing the concentration of TBA as a surfactant agent and with decreasing volume fraction of organic phase. Also, the minimum agitation speed for a complete dispersion was increased in the order of flat blade, 60 mesh, 40 mesh, and 20 mesh screen blades. However, the minimum power consumption did not vary significantly. In this condition, the relationship between Power number and Reynolds number was expressed as N_p = _aN_(Re)^b, where the values of constant a and constant b were ranged 2200∼4100 and -0.69∼-0.63 respectively.

        러시아의 길: 19세기 러시아 문학과 철도 – 가르신의 단편 「신호」를 따라

        The railway, which was born in the 19th century, when the old and the new, tradition and reformation coexisted, was used as a variety of materials and themes in the lyrical and narrative literary genres, attracting the attention of contemporary people. These trends have been observed specially in Russia, a country of railroads, and russian literary scholars sensed that the railroad would lead to a new idea of life and a new perception of the infinite space and time of Russia. In this study, the relationship between Russian society and railroads in the 19th century was examined by studying how railroad-related materials appeared in literary works after railroads appeared in Russia in 1837. Among the various works, special attention was paid to the short story of Vsevolod Garshin(В.М. Гаршин, 1855~1888) 「Signal(Сигнал)」(1887), to verify how the railway was recognized and expressed in reality and literature respectively. The reason why this work was selected as the subject of analysis is that, it was published half a century after the appearance of the railway in Russia and Garshin actually worked as secretary of the Railway Bureau Association from early 1883 to 1887. This is because he has experience in railroad work, and the biographical facts of experts in this field are reflected in the work. In addition, it is also because, in the middle and late 19th century, a sense of mission as an intellectual at that time about the current situation in Russia and the path that Russia should take in the future is unfolding in this work with the railway as the main subject. In this work, Garshin shows the true value for life through the subject of railroads in a time when coexist various values and gives signals that Russia’s right direction for the present and the future is not antagonism and conflict, separation and deviation, but harmonization of different values, coexistence through integration and reconciliation, and going to a historical forward direction.

        곰소만 해역 해수에서 분리한 장염비브리오(Vibrio parahaemolyticus)의 항균제 내성 및 최소발육억제농도의 규명

        Seventy-nine Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolates from surface seawater from Gomso Bay, west coast of Korea, were analyzed for the presence of virulence genes and their susceptibility to 30 different antimicrobials. All 79 isolates were examined for the presence of two virulence genes (tdh or trh) using polymerase chain reaction (PCR); however, no isolates possessed either the tdh or trh gene. According to a disk diffusion susceptibility test, all of the strains studied were resistant to oxacillin, penicillin, and vancomycin, followed by ticarcillin (97.5%), ampicillin (96.2%), clindamycin (86.1%), erythromycin (10.1%), streptomycin (7.6%), cefoxitin (6.3%), amikacin (2.5%), and cephalothin (2.5%). However, all of the strains were susceptible to 19 other antimicrobials including cefepime, cefotaxime, chloramphenicol, gentamycin, nalidixic acid, sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim, and trimethoprim. All 79 isolates (100%) were resistant to four or more classes of antimicrobials, and two strains exhibited resistance to eight antimicrobial agents. The average minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) for V. parahaemolyticus for ampicillin, penicillin, ticarcillin, and vacomycin were 946.5, 1,305.9, 1,032.3, and 45.0 μg/mL, respectively.

        완도해역 해수에서 분리한 장염비브리오(Vibrio paragaemolyticus)의 항균제 내성 및 병원성 유전자의 특징

        Sixty-seven Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolates from surface seawater from the Wando area, on the southern coast of Korea, were analyzed for their susceptibility to 15 different antimicrobials and the presence of virulence genes. According to the disk diffusion susceptibility test, all of the strains studied were resistant to ampicillin and oxacil-­lin, while decreasing percentages were resistant to vancomycin (64.2%), streptomycin (56.7%), amikacin (31.3%), kanamycin (22.3%), cephalothin (20.9%), erythromycin (10.4%), ciprofloxacin (4.5%), and tetracycline (3.0%). All of the strains were susceptible to five antimicrobials: chloramphenicol, gentamycin, nalidixic acid, sulfamethoxazolel/ trimethoprim, and trimethoprim. Fifty-nine isolates (88.1%) were resistant to three or more classes of antimicrobial and defined as multidrug resistant, and two strains were resistant to seven antimicrobial agents. The minimum inhibi-tory concentration (MIC) of the 67 V. parahaemolyticus isolates to ampicillin and oxacillin ranged from 512-2,048 and 64-512 ㎍/mL, respectively. All 67 isolates were also examined for the presence of the tdh and trh virulence genes using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). However, no isolates possessed either tdh or trh. The VPA0477 (β-Iactamase) gene, present in all of the tested strains, was validated as a new specific marker gene in PCR assays for the accurate detection and identification of V. parahaemolyticus.

        시베리아 투바족의 동식물관 연구

        This study investigated the significance of several home animals, wild animals and plants that are considered to be most closely related to their daily life or considered as totems among the various animals and plants in Tuva. The Tuvines, who live in the middle of the Siberian coniferous forest and the Mongolian grasslands, are affected by a variety of climatic zones, such as the taiga and the steppes in the north, and the desert and semidesert in the south. Tuvine traditionally considered animals to be shaman’s spirit helpers, mythical ancestors and they believed that the beasts(звери) belonged to the Master spirit (дух-хозяин) of a taiga. They also were close and worshiped home animals such as sheep, horses, dogs, vwild animals such as wolves, bears, rabbits, and birds, such as eagles, swans, crows. Among the plants, broad-leaved trees including white poplar and birch were considered sacred. So Tuvine worshiped the broad-leaved tree, called as the “shaman tree,” “tree of life,” “the world tree,” “the axis of the world,” and “the universe tree.”
