        인구사회학적요인, 학교조직요인 및 교사의 사회심리학적요인이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 인구사회학적요인(교사의 성별, 연령, 교급, 학교위치, 보직유무), 학교조직요인(합리풍토, 인화풍토, 폐쇄풍토, 상사의 지원, 업무 스트레스), 사회심리학적요인(긍정적 성격, 부정적 성격, 자아존중감, 가정화목, 경제적 곤란)이 교사의 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 검토하는데 그 목표를 두고 있다. 본 연구의 목표를 달성하기 위해, 전남지역 초·중·고등학교 교사 644명에게 '성취감 만족', '일 자체만족', '복지 만족'의 하위요소로 구성된 교사 직무만족 척도와 사회심리학적변인, 학교조직변인, 인구사회학적변인들에 관해 질문하는 설문지를 실시하였다. 인구사회학적변인들 중에서 학교 위치는 교사직무만족과 전혀 상관이 없었으나, 교사의 성별, 교급, 보직유무, 연령은 교사의 직무만족도와 유의하게 상관이 있었다. 학교조직변인들도 교사의 직무만족과 높은 상관관계를 나타내어, 상사의 지원이 높을수록, 학교 조직이 합리적으로 운영되고 학교조직의 인화단결이 잘될수록 교사들이 느끼는 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 학교가 폐쇄적 풍토를 지니고 교사들의 업무스트레스가 높을수록 교사들의 직무 만족도가 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 사회심리학적변인들의 경우, 교사가 긍정적 성격을 가지고 있고, 자아존중감이 높을 때, 그리고 가정이 화목할 때 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 부정적 성격을 가지고 있을 때, 그리고 경제적 곤란을 느끼고 있을 때는 직무만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 인구사회 학적변인, 학교조직변인, 사회심리학적변인들을 동시에 사용하여, 중다회귀 분석한 결과를 살펴보면, 교사의 성별이나, 연령, 교급과 같은 인구사회학적요인보다는 합리풍토, 인화 풍토와 같은 학교조직요인과 교사의 긍정적, 부정적 성격과 자아존중감과 같은 교사의 사회심리학적요인이 교사직무만족도를 예측하는 데 훨씬 더 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. The major goal of the present study was to investigate the influences of sociodemographic factors, school organizational factors, and teachers' sociopsychological factors on teachers' job satisfaction. Six hundred and forty-four elementary, middle, and high school teachers completed a questionnaire that included items on job satisfaction, sociodemographic characteristics of teachers, school organizational factors and teachers' sociopsychological factors. Among the sociodemographic variables, the location of the school was not related to teachers' job satisfaction, however, the teacher's gender, age, and the level of school were correlated with job satisfaction. School organizational factors such as the school's social closeness and supports of super-ordinates, and the teachers' sociopsychological factors such as positive personality and self-esteem were also significantly related to job satisfaction. Stepwise multiple regression analyses revealed that in general, school organizational factors and teachers' sociopschological factors play more important roles in teachers' job satisfaction than sociodemographic variables of teachers.

        공탄성시스템의 확률론적 제어에 대한 실험적 연구

        A Newly proposed control methodology applied to the aeroelastic system experiencing flutter is investigated and its performance is verified experimentally. The flexible cantilever beam slicked with piezofilm sensor and piezoceramic actuator is modelled in physical domain. Dynamic moment equation for the system is derived via Ito's stochastic differential equation and F-P-K equation. Also system's characteristics in stochastic domain is analyzed simultaneously. LQG controller is designed and used in physical and stochastic domain. It is shown experimentally that the vibration of beam is controlled effectively by designed LQG controller in physical domain. By comparing the result with that of LQG controller designed in stochastic domain, it is shown that the new control method, called Heo-stochastic control technique, has better performance as a controller.

        Distribution Characteristics of Dioxins in Marine Sediment from Busan Port in Korea

        Eight marine sediments from Busan port in Korea were annually analyzed to examine the concentration distribution of dioxins from 2006 to 2010. Yearly mean concentration of dioxins ranged from 186.3 to $383.3pg\;g^{-1}$ in real values and 5.087 to 8.541 pg-TEQ (Toxicity equivalency) based on dry weight of samples. The dioxin concentration at the site near fishing market was the highest concentration among all sampling sites. Also the dioxin concentration at the sites with various pollutant sources such as large ships, sewage influx and thermal power station as well as fishing market was higher than that of the sites without specific pollutant sources. Another main factor that affects the dioxin concentration is topography characteristics of the bay. The bay has relatively high dioxin concentration because of the lack of the pollutant diffusion. This study demonstrated that the dioxin concentration in the site with pollutant sources and the lack of the pollutant diffusion was relatively high as compared with the other sites. As a result of contribution ratio of dioxin congeners, OCDD (Octachlorodibenzodioxin) in all sites was major contributor in real value, in contrast, dioxin congeners in TEQ values were dominated by 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF.

        Distribution Characteristics of Dioxins in Soils under Different Land Use in Busan, Korea

        In this study, distribution characteristics of dioxins in soils in Busan, Korea were investigated regarding different land use types. Soil sampling sites that distributed through the Busan city showed dioxin concentration ranging from 0.489 to $322.736pg-TEQ\;g^{-1}$ dry weight with a mean value of $26.257pg-TEQ\;g^{-1}$ dry weight. The mean dioxin concentrations of investigated soils ranged from 1.554 to $50.357pg-TEQ\;g^{-1}$ dry weight in consideration of each land use type. That in metal refinery sites with $50.357pg-TEQ\;g^{-1}$ dry weight was higher than any other sites, followed by waste incinerator sites with $44.285pg-TEQ\;g^{-1}$ dry weight. The majority of soil samples had the same dioxin congener profiling despite the different range of dioxin concentration. Octa-CDD was the major contributor among seventeen dioxin congeners with the range from 29.5 to 70.1% in real values. In contrast to real values, dioxin congener profiles in TEQ values were dominated by 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF which contributed about 35.3~43.8% to the total dioxin concentrations. It was judged by these results that penta-CDF was the major contributor of soil samples in Busan city. The mean ratio of PCDFs/PCDDs in real values was about 0.71, but that in TEQ values was, in contrast to it, approximately 3.03.

        Distribution of S-alleles among Korean Apples by PCR and Cross-pollination

        To acquaint correct information about the fertilizability and analyze S-allele based genetic diversity among Korean apples, we investigated self-incompatibility genotypes by PCR and cross-pollination tests in field. As a consequence, S-genotypes of Korean apples were distributed within narrow genetic diversity as $S_1S_3$ for 'Hongro' and 'Saenara'; $S_1S_9$ for 'Gamhong' and 'Manbok'; $S_3S_5$ for 'Seokwang'; $S_3S_9$ for 'Sunhong', 'Seohong', 'Chukwang', and 'Hwahong'. Coupled with cross-pollination experiments in field, our results provide support for the view that apples are fully compatible when both of their S-loci differ and semi-compatible when they carry one different and one identical S-locus. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that S-alleles have to be extended to various genotypes for Korean apple breeding.

      • Cellular behavior controlled by bio-inspired and geometry-tunable nanohairs

        <P>A cicada wing has a biocidal feature of rupturing the membrane of cells, while the cactus spine can transmit a water drop to the stem of the plant. Both of these properties have evolved from their respective unique structures. Here, we endeavor to develop geometry-controllable nanohairs that mimic the cicada‘s wing-like vertical hairs and the cactus spine-like stooped hairs, and to quantitatively characterize the cell migration behavior of the hairy structures. It was found that the neuroblastoma cells are highly sensitive to the variation of surfaces: flat, vertical, and stooped nanohairs (100 nm diameter and 900 nm height). The cells on the vertical hairs showed significantly decreased proliferation. It was found that the behavior of cells cultured on stooped nanohairs is strongly influenced by the direction of the stooped pattern of hairs when we quantitatively measured the migration of cells on flat, vertical, and stooped structures. However, the cells on the flat structures showed random movement and the cells on the vertical nanohairs restricted the nanohair movement. Cells on the stooped structure showed higher forward migration preference compared to that of the other structures. Furthermore, we found that these cellular behaviors on the different patterns of nanohairs were affected by intracellular actin flament change. Consistent with these results, the vertical and stooped structures can facilitate the control of cell viability and guide directional migration for biomedical applications such as organogenesis.</P>

        Antioxidant and Neuronal Cell Protective Effects of Columbia Arabica Coffee with Different Roasting Conditions

        In vitro antioxidant activities and neuronal cell protective effects of ethanol extract from roasted coffee beans were investigated. Colombia arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) green beans were roasted to give medium ($230^{\circ}C$, 10 min), city ($230^{\circ}C$, 12 min) and french ($230^{\circ}C$, 15 min) coffee beans. Total phenolics in raw green beans, medium, city and french-roasted beans were $8.81{\pm}0.05$, $9.77{\pm}0.03$, $9.92{\pm}0.04$ and $7.76{\pm}0.01$ mg of GAE/g, respectively. The content of 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid, the predominant phenolic, was detected higher in medium-roasted beans than others. In addition, we found that extracts from medium-roasted beans particularly showed the highest in vitro antioxidant activity on ABTS radical scavenging activity and FRAP assays. To determine cell viability using the MTT assay, extracts from medium- roasted beans showed higher protection against $H_2O_2$-induced neurotoxicity than others. Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) leakage was also inhibited by the extracts due to prevention of lipid peroxidation using the malondialdehyde (MDA) assay from mouse whole brain homogenates. These data suggest that the medium-roasting condition to making tasty coffee from Columbia arabica green beans may be more helpful to human health by providing the most physiological phenolics, including 5-O-caffeoylquinic acids.
