To check the effect of blast-induced vibrations on neighbouring concrete structures in excavation of twin tunnels, allowable value of ground vibrations is discussed and empirical equations from in-situ tests are also obtained. The results can be summarized as follows ; 1. The magnitude of ground vibration(V=2.5㎝/sec) on concrete structures is recommended as a safe vibraton level. 2. An empirical equation, V=K(D/W^1/2)^-n is obtained, where the value for n and K are estimated to be 1.661 and 298 respectively. 3. It is confirmed that the measured convergences are less than criteria of general tunnel.
Dock Wall에서 Pre-splitting 발파의 적용성에 관한 연구

The contour blasting minimize the strain and the rocks are destroyed to the theoretical projected line by adding or substracting the explosive compound amounts. On pre-splitting blasting, the most important factors are the base rock conditions, accuracy of drilling, kind of explosive compound used, and charge. The first test blast is classified in eight groups, which is done to find more accurate blasting conditions after a variety of blasting methods are used. Through the conditions of charge of the first test blast, after the best blast method is selected the second test blast is performed. The number of holes and hole spacing are corrected on the second test blast, which takes change to reduce construction days and working conditions. In the second test blast charge conditions. Pattern Y is the method for see a cutting plane of 90˚ for the reducing of dock-wall parts.

Excavation area and cost produced by the existing blast in coal mine have become a major problem because of overexcavation and damage to support structures. Various tests were carried out in the Gang-Sung coal mine in Hwa-Soon province, Korea, with regard to reduce overxcavation and by controlled blasting as well as rock bloting. Rock bolting was used and controlled blasting was conducted by 20m for 16 days 16 days at SOuth-tunnel. The results of study for comparing of each system for same size of tunnel can be summarized as follows; 1. The result of measured data showed that excavation area for controlled blasting were reduced 21% as compared with the existing blast. 2. The supports cost of rock bolting were greatly reduced 36% as compared with I-beam supports.
비전기식뇌관의 트렁크라인 시차가 발파진동에 미치는 영향

In this study, blasting condition uniformed, and vibration value changed by the trunk line and measuring distance was measured. Four patterns of delay time of surface detonator and trunk line which are used at open fit blasting UB-25 and surface detonator of UB-17, trunk line UB-17 and surface detonator of UB-42, and trunk line of UB-25 and surface detonator of UB-42 are used in pattern 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively, In result, the overlap time in pattern 1, 3 are 10 times respectively. Because of that reason, the value of vibration velocity in pattern 3 is smaller than in pattern 1. As the time difference of Trunk line, a method of decreasing the surface vibration is to design the number of overlap minimized a t interval time.
荷重速度가 岩石의 强度 및 變形特性에 미치는 影響에 관한 연구

uniaxial compression tests are performed under various loading rates to study the influence of loading rate on the compressive strengths and deformation behaviors. The rock samples adopted in this experiments are Onyang granite, Hambaek sandstone, Hambaek shale and Donghae limestone. Total 120 specimens arc prepared for this study. As the loading rate increases from static to dynamic state which is about the level of 800~1,400 ㎏f/㎠/sec, the uniaxial compressive strengths are also increased within the range of 40%. On the other hand Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio show similar trends but have a little lower rates of increase when compared with that of uniaxial compressive strengths.
사면발파의 WIDE SPACE 발파의 시공에 관한 연구

In this study, to protect final face of the rock and form the smooth face, it was practice the pre-splitting blast with detonating fuse. The test rocks consist of granite-gneiss, granite and dikes. The rocks divided into three zones, weathered rock, weakly weathered rock and unweathered rock; and blasting index applied 0.17, 0.2 and 0.25 respectively. A new blasting method(wide space blasting) was practiced for the purpose of the better work-efficiency, compared with the conventional blasting method. When the hole space is E = 6.67W, the products of the massive rock were down 51% and the loadings were increased 34%, compared with the conventional blasting method. Although the amount of used explosives was increased 12%, it has been that the wide space blasting was more effective than the conventional method.
