        사서들의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향요인 분석-부산지역 공공도서관을 중심으로-

        본 연구는 조직몰입의 선행변수들이 조직몰입과 어떤 상관관계가 있으며, 그 영향력은 어떠한지를 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 사서들의 개인적 특성, 직무특성, 조직특성 및 작업경험을 독립변수로 하고 가치몰입과 근속몰입을 종속변수로 선정하였다. 데이터는 부산지역 17개 공공도서관 사서 128명을 대상으로 설문조사를 행하였다. 연구결과 1)남자보다는 여자가, 직급이 높을수록 몰입도는 더 높게 나타났다. 2)집권화는 조직몰입과 부(-)의 관계이다. 3)조직몰입에 미치는 영향력은 작업경험이 가장 크고, 그 다음은 조직특성, 직무특성의 순으로 나타났다. The aim of this study is to) represent the relationship of organizational commitment and its antecedent variable and show the influence of them in the libraries. For this, We selected librarian\`s personal characteristics, job characteristics, organizational characteristics and work experiences as an independent variables and value commitment, commitment to stay as a dependent variables. Collected data was derived from questionnaire of the 128 librarians of 17 public libraries at susan. 1)The women\`s level of commitment was higher than man. 2)Centralization was negative to the organizational commitment. 7)The rank that influence on the organizational commitment was work experience first, and then organizational characteristics, and job characteristics was the last.

        대학도서관 사서들의 인구적 특성과 성격유형 및 인지양식이 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 사서들의 인구적 특성, 성격유형 및 인지양식 등의 개인차 요인들이 개별적 혹은 복합적으로 어떠한 차이로 직무만족에 영향을 미치고, 어떤 작용효과를 나타내는지 그 관계를 밝히는데 있다. 독립변수는 인구적 특성(성별 연령, 근무년수, 직위), 성격유형(A형, B형), 인지양식(장의존적, 장독립적)의 3개 변수를 설정하고 종속변수는 직무만족이다. 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 5개 요인은 직무자체, 급여, 승진, 관리감독 및 동료관계이다. 데이터는 부산시내에 소재하는 11개 4년제대학 도서관의 사서 166명을 대상으로 하였으며 수집된 데이터는 SPSSWIN을 이용하여 통계처리하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the impacts of individual factors, such as demographic characteristics, personality types and cognitive styles, on job satisfaction of university librarians. The study further investigated the relationships and interaction effects among those factors. Three independent variables examined were demographic characteristics (sex, age, year at work, and position), personality types (Type A and Type B), and cognitive styles (Held-dependence and Held-independence). The dependent varilable was the level of job satisfaction. five factors that affect the level of job satisfaction were the nature of work, salary level promotion practices, supervision style, and the relationships with co-wokers. The number of subjects participated in the study was 166 university librarians working in Pusan area. The SPSSWIN package was used for statistical analysis.

      • 도서관 전산화의 효율적인 추진에 관한 고찰

        In introducing computers to the library, heavier emphasis is nowadays being put on planware than on hardware or software, though the last two are important. The purpose of the present study is twofold: (1) to inquire into various problems of planware which are considered vital factors for automation based on the past experiences on the computerizatin of domestic enterprises and of foreign libraies; (2) to help create a favorable environment and direction in planning the introduction of library computerization by presenting improved guiding principles for each of the factors to be considered. The important results of the study are as follows: 1. In promoting library computerization, it will be desirable to design the total system with emphasis on catalog information. 2. The development of the project will encourage the librarian's eagerness for computerization and solve the problems of technical weaknesses by mutual cooperation of the libraries and outside technical institutions. 3. The ideal method of using computers is the joint-use method. For this method, a central coordinating organization should first be established for the coordination, design, and research of the computerization of each of the participating libraries. 4. It will be desirable and necessary for the personnel concerned to participate in the establishment of aims, and for the highest administrator to coordinate them ultimately. 5. At least two years in needed from the start of planning of computerization to the establishment of the computer system. More than three and a half years should not be excessive for the examination of the plan to switch over to the new system. 6. In deciding the priority of such selection criteria of pertinent services as cost, benefit, technical success, implementation success, and policy objective, the scores of the weight given for these criteria should be considered. 7. The analysis of the efficiency achieved should be judged on a longterm basis. The expected effect should not be judged only by short-sighted benefits or profits. 8. The project team should consist of full-time librarians who know the principles of EDP. 9. After selection of the desired computer, the computer team should control and manage the computerization process, and participate in the project development. 10 The introduction of computers to the library should not cause any problem to the morale of the personnel. It is necessary to educate the staff to know the operations, effects, and necessity of the new system. Special efforts should be exercised to produce an agreeable atmosphere by educating the staff so the they can realize that the aim of computerization is not to curtail manpower but to increase the usefulness of the library system as a public and private service.

        고객관계관리(CRM)의 도서관 도입

        Libraries today have to investigate the methods connecting the results from continuously collected customer information with their activities, policies, and procedures. In other to prevent customer secession and to obtain new customers, it is necessary to effectively offer the processes for every customer related service, that is, the contact, the reguest, satisfaction, etc. This is Customer Relationship Management(CRM). This study aims to introduce the concept, the constitution elements, and theories for importation and application of CRM, and to investigate the possibility for library application. Also, it is emphasized the necessity for new marketing strategy putting the customer value preferentially in libraries. 도서관은 지속적인 고객 관련 정보수집과 그 결과를 도서관의 활동, 정책 및 절차와 연관시킬 수 있는 방법을 모색할 시점이다. 고객이탈을 방지하고 새로운 고객을 획득하기 위해서는 고객과의 접촉, 고객의 요구 및 만족 등 고객과 관련된 모든 서비스를 효과적으로 제공하기 위한 프로세스가 필요하다. 이것이 고객관계관리(CRM)이다. 연구의 목적은 도서관에서 고객가치를 우선시 하는 새로운 마케팅 전략의 필요성을 강조하고 CRM의 개념, 구성요소, CRM의 도입과 활용에 관련된 이론을 소개하고, 도서관 적용의 가능성을 탐색하기 위함에 있다.

        공공도서관의 리더십 유형이 사서의 스트레스 증세에 미치는 영향- 부산시내 공공도서관을 중심으로 -

        This Study is to analyze the effect that the subordinate factors which compose transformational leadership and transaction leadership, cause stress syndrome. The results of this study are as follows ① There were no relationships between the stress syndrome and the term of service ;however, the level of stress among librarians tended towards fairly high level ② The charisma and the individualized consideration of transformational leadership showed negative(-) effects on stress syndrome. ③ The management-by-exception of transaction leadership showed positive(+) relationship with stress syndrome, and the contingent reward, negative(-)relationship. ④ The effect causing stress was greater in transformational leadership than in transaction leadership. Therefore, it was confirmed that the charisma and the individualized consideration of transformational leadership were variables decreasing stress, and the management-by-exception of transaction leadership was a variable increasing stress. 부산시내 21개 공공도서관에 재직하고 있는 132명의 사서들을 대상으로, 변혁적 리더십과 거래적 리더십을 구성하는 하위 요인들이 스트레스 증세에 미치는 영향을 밝혀보고자 하였다. 분석결과는 ① 스트레스 증세와 근무년수와는 관련성이 없으며 사서들의 스트레스 수준은 매우 높은 편이었다. ② 변혁적 리더십의 카리스마와 개별적 배려는 스트레스 증세에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. ③ 거래적 리더십의 예외에 의한 관리는 스트레스 증세와 정(+)의 관계를, 조건적 보상은 부(-)의 관계로 나타났다. ④ 거래적 리더십 보다는 변혁적 리더십이 스트레스에 미치는 영향이 더 크게 나타났다. 결론은 변혁적 리더십의 카리스마와 개별적 배려는 스트레스를 감소시켜 주는 변수이고 거래적 리더십의 예외에 의한 관리는 스트레스를 증가시키는 변수임을 확인하였다.

      • 도서관 봉사부분의 커뮤니케이션에 관한 연구

        Communication is a phenomenon of conveying meanings through a common system of symbols, that is, the process of transmitting information. The library is an organization for performing communications with users by the medium of documents. Therefore, librarians and users have to recognize rightly what information, information system and structu-ral elements of communication have influence on information transfer. This study attempts to describe and explain the communication process among communication models, documents and users. Also, it is intended to collect a theorietical system of the process, contemplate and compare the communication taking place from the library service. The library communication consists of information producer, information, media and user. The process from inforamtion producer to user is very complicated. Therefore, in order to provide more imporved service after estimating, controlling and reflecting the problems in the library service, following items are prerequisite. 1. A Librarian has to understand the complicated communication process and reflect the unedrstanding in the library service. 2. The librarian must have the technique to communicate on an adequate level with a user. 3. The library has to make users approve the search and retrieval technique of documents through the library use training. 4. The library has to be designed to analyze information use and demands of users, and put the result the service system.

        Measurement of Nitrous Oxide Emissions on the Cultivation of Soybean by No-Tillage and Conventional-Tillage in Upland Soil

        The impact of 1 pound of nitrous oxide (N2O) on warming the atmosphere is almost 310 times that of 1 pound of carbon dioxide. Agricultural soil management is the largest source of N2O emissions, accounting for about 73% of total N2O emissions. This study was conducted to evaluate the nitrous oxide emission in the cultivation of soybean during the first year of No-tillage (NT) and Conventional-tillage (CT) practices, under the various conditions such as different kinds of fertilizers, soil temperature, and moisture level. In the experiment, we set CT and NT treatments into 4 different groups - control treatments (no fertilization), green manure treatments, chemical fertilizer treatments and organic manure treatments. In the case of chemical fertilizer treatments, N2O emission of NT treatment was 7.78 to 22.59% lower than CT treatment. In organic manure treatment, N2O emission of NT treatment was 6.62% higher than CT treatment in August. But In July and September, N2O emission of NT treatment was 9.50% 28.38% lower than CT treatment, respectively. Soil temperature was correlated with N2O emission positively. In the future, continued long-term research on influence of various environmental factors on the generation of N2O and the economic value of no-till farming is required.

        도서관 이용자와 사서간의 대면적 커뮤니케이션의 고찰

        Without an accurate understanding of information needs of library users, an efficient services can't be implement. And we can expect that there is a difference between query statement and actual information needs of users. It also will occur difference in the process of librarian's interpretation of query statement because of an inaccurate presentation and their different working experiences. It means that there is a communication problems between users and librarians. The purpose of this study is to provide the techniques of face to face communication between users and librarians as a method of efficient library service activities. And focused on the importance of non-language communication. The effectiveness of this study are as follows: 1. With the understanding of information flow, librarians can expand the extent of library services. 2. Knowing that how to communicate with users at the a n.0, ppropriate degree, librarians can improve the communication techniques. 3. Expanding the satisfaction of information services and heitening the reliability of users. 4. From the analysis of user information needs, librarians can convert present system to the proper service-oriented system. 5. Knowing the importance of non-language communication, librarians can improve the service environment.
