        Caffeine 섭취를 병행한 유산소운동이 비만여대생의 신체조성 및 혈청 지질에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was investigate effects of caffeine intake with aerobic exercise on body composition and triglyceride, LDL-C for obese female. The subjects were divided into caffeine intake and aerobic exercise group(n=10) & aerobic exercise group(n=10) for 10 weeks. The changes of body composition, triglyceride, LDL-C have been measured before and after 10 weeks. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The body weight and %Body fat were significantly decreased within both in caffeine group(caffeine intake and aerobic exercise group) and control group(aerobic exercise group) after 10 weeks. But there were no significantly difference between two groups. 2. The triglyceride was no significantly difference within both in caffeine group(caffeine intake and aerobic exercise group) and control group(aerobic exercise group) after 10 weeks. And there was no significantly different between two groups. 3. The LDL-Cholesterol was significantly decreased within in caffeine group(caffeine intake and aerobic exercise group) but control group(aerobic exercise group) was no significantly different within in after 10 weeks. And there were significantly difference between two groups.

        이동식 사다리 이해관계자 집단 심층인터뷰를 통한 안정성 개선 모델 개발에 관한 연구

        Portable ladders are widely used as ascend and descend pathways and platforms for works at height at residential and industrial sites. In the last 10 years, 267 fatalities and 36,571 accidents related to portable ladders have been reported, suggesting a need to develop countermeasures to prevent such accidents. In this study, an in-depth focus group interview (FGI) was conducted with various stakeholders of portable ladders to survey the current usage and requirements for improving work safety. A new portable ladder called active platform ladder was developed based on the requirements suggested by the FGI. A stability test confirmed that the developed ladder is more stable than conventional ones, suggesting that it can reduce the fall accidents.

        이동식 사다리 추락 재해 예방을 위한 안전 제도의 문제점과 개선 과제

        Portable ladders are normally used both as an access tool for ascending and descending and as a platform for high place work. Though convenient, such usages make the portable ladders vulnerable to fall accidents. For this reason, many safety systems such as regulations and certifications are implemented to prevent fall accidents of portable ladders. However, nevertheless of those safety systems in Korea, annual death tolls of ladder fall accidents has remained high, and which suggests modification and improvement of the portable ladder related safety systems in Korea. The aim of this study is to propose directions for improving safety systems to effectively prevent fall accidents of portable ladders. To this end, comparative analysis on safety systems implemented in Korea and other countries including Japan, USA and UK are conducted to investigate the problems of Korean safety systems. Based on the analysis, limitations of Korean safety systems to prevent ladder fall accidents are discussed and tasks to overcome the limitations are proposed. Once implemented, the proposed tasks would contribute to prevent ladder fall accidents effectively.

        동시 출현 기반 키워드 네트워크 기법을 이용한 이동식 사다리 추락 재해 위험 요인 연관 구조 모델링

        The main purpose of accident analysis is to identify the causal factors and the mechanisms of those factors leading to the accident. However, current accident analysis techniques focus only on finding the factors related to the accident without providing more insightful results, such as structures or mechanisms. For this reason, preventive actions for safety management are concentrated on the elimination of causal factors rather than blocking the connection or chain of accident processes. This greatly reduces the effectiveness of safety management in practice. In the present study, a technique to model the correlational structure of accident risk factors is proposed by using the co-occurrence keyword network analysis technique. To investigate the effectiveness of the proposed technique, a case study involving a portable ladder fall accident is conducted. The results indicate that the proposed technique can construct the correlational structure model of the risk factors of a portable ladder fall accident. This proves the effectiveness of the proposed technique in modeling the correlational structure of accident risk factors.

        전기 신경학적 진단의 개요

        Study Design: Review article. Objectives: This review aims to present useful and relevant information on electroneurological diagnoses in the field of the spine, with a particular focus on helping spinal surgeons understand electromyography (EMG) in a simpler and more intuitive way. Summary of Literature Review: Since Galvani reported that electrical stimulation of muscle tissue generates contractions and forces in 1771, it has been possible to diagnose nerve and muscle diseases through electrical stimulation of the human body. Materials and Methods: Review of the relevant articles. Results: Electrodiagnostic studies in the spine field can be divided into nerve conduction studies, needle EMG, and evoked potential. Conclusions: Electrodiagnostic studies can be useful for the definitive differential diagnosis of spine diseases, and for neurosurveillance during surgery. EMG refers to nerve conduction tests and needle EMG tests, and it is mainly used to differentiate between diseases of the peripheral nervous system and spine. Evoked potential testing is used for nerve monitoring during surgery or when problems occur in the central nervous system (i.e., the cord level).

        엘리베이터 설치 작업용 시스템 비계의 구조 성능 평가

        This study performed a structural performance evaluation of a system scaffolding for elevator installation work developed in previous studies. The structural performance was evaluated via a structural test conducted to apply the working load specified in the design standard. The deflection of the horizontal member and the stress of each member constituting the system scaffolding were measured. Consequently, the structural safety evaluation including structural behavior and required performance was performed using the deflection and stresses measured from the structural test. The structural test and safety evaluation results based on the heavy working load corresponding to the design load indicated that the deflection, which is the performance criterion of the horizontal member, did not exceed the allowable value. Further, each member's stress, which is a safety evaluation indicator, did not exceed the allowable strength for both horizontal and vertical members with bending behavior and fordable bracing with tensile behavior, while also satisfying the required safety factor. In addition, the results confirmed the safety against deformation, partial damage, and destruction owing to excessive and maximum load. Therefore, the system scaffolding developed in this study satisfies both the structural performance and safety required by the design standards; thus, it can be applied to elevator installation work sites.

        Recommendation of Nasogastric Tube Removal in Acute Stroke Patients Based on Videofluoroscopic Swallow Study

        Objective To evaluate the safety of nasogastric tube (NGT) removal and change to oral feeding with a food thickener for acute stroke patients in whom a videofluoroscopic swallow study (VFSS) confirmed thin liquid aspiration.Methods We retrospectively examined data of 199 patients with first stroke who were diagnosed with dysphagia from 2011 to 2015. Swallowing function was evaluated using VFSS. Patients included in this study were monitored for 4 weeks to identify the occurrence of aspiration pneumonia. The penetration-aspiration scale (PAS) was used to assess VFSS findings. The patients were divided into thin-liquid aspiration group (group 1, n=104) and no thin-liquid aspiration group (group 2, n=95).Results The feeding method was changed from NGT feeding to oral feeding with food thickener (group 1) and without food thickener (group 2). The PAS scores of thin and thick liquids were 6.46±0.65 and 1.92±0.73, respectively, in group 1 and 2.65±0.74 and 1.53±0.58, respectively, in group 2. Aspiration pneumonia developed in 1.9% of group 1 and 3.2% of group 2 (p=0.578), with no significant difference between the groups.Conclusion We concluded that removing the NGT and changing to oral feeding with a food thickener is a safe food modification for acute stroke patients with thin liquid aspiration. Therefore, we recommend that VFSS should be conducted promptly in acute stroke patients to avoid unnecessary prolonged NGT feeding.

        엘리베이터 설치 작업용 시스템 비계 개발에 관한 연구

        In recent years, the government's urban housing expansion policy has resulted in increased construction and remodeling work of residential houses and apartments, causing more industrial accidents at elevator installation sites. Typically, accidents occur during the installation and dismantling of work scaffolds inside the hoistways or using non-standardized work scaffolds due to their structural instability. In view of this, the present study deals with the development of a standardized elevator system scaffolding that can be safely installed outside the hoistway, securing the work platform inside the hoistway. An improved version of the scaffolding system eliminates the need to enter the hoistway for the scaffolding installation, thereby preventing accidents.
