The purpose of this article is making a contribution to add the knowledges of meridian muscles and myofascial meridians of lower limb that relate with gait and basic movements. We have researched on the gait analysis, basic analysis of articular movement and the related muscles. In addition this article is suggested to study about the therapy with apply meridian muscles and myofascial meridians to lower limb's motor disturbance.

With a swift development of information technology, web sites get more important roles as user's living places. This quantitative and qualitative expansion of web sites requires the need for an evaluation framework of web sites from comprehensive perspectives. This study proposes two dimensions for web site categorization and three dimensions for web site evaluation. These dimensions were developed based on the architectural perspectives that have been used to evaluate buildings in the real world for more than a thousand years. First, in order to categorize various web sites, we extracted two dimensions, user's goals and user's behaviors from behavioral architect which approaches user's behaviors in designing buildings. Second, in order to evaluate four web sites groups, we suggested three dimensions, which are firmness, commodity, delight used in evaluating buildings in the real world. Then for each of the four different web sites groups an empirical survey was conducted to verify these three dimensions of architectural metrics. This ends with study implications and limitations.
Osteopathy 의 한의학적 임상활용 방안에 관한 소고

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to get knowledge about osteopathy and to applicate the osteopathy to oriental medicine. Methods: We investigated several books and literatures on osteopathy related sites explored by internet to know the general theories and present conditions of osteopathy in Korea and other countries. Results & Conclusion : 1. The principles of osteopathy are as follows. First, the human being is a dynamic unit of function. Second, the body possesses self regulating mechanisms which are self healing in nature. Third, structure and function are reciprocally interrelated. Fourth, the body rational therapy is based upon knowledge and use of the above three principles. 2. Doctors of osteopathy evaluate the musculoskeletal system to identify structural problems and to support the body's natural tendency toward health and self healing. 3. We can applicate the osteopathy to oriental clinical medicine based on interpreting the principles of osteopathy.

The purpose of this article is to contribute to the knowledge of meridian muscles and myofascial meridians of upper limb that relate with normal movement and getting a glass of water. We researched on analysis of normal articular movement and the related muscles. In addition this article is suggested to study about the Therapy with apply meridian muscles and myofascial meridian lines to upper limb's motor disturbance.

Objectives : There are many studies on the oriental medical treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, but few on the MRI follow-up scans after treatment. So we wanted to know the difference of MRI scan after the treatment. Methods : The first MRI examination was performed at the acute phase of the low back pain and radiculopathy, and the second performed after treatment. And we compared with previous scan. Results & Conclusion : The second scan shows improved state of bulging disc in L4-5, L5-S1 level, compared with previous scan.

Objectives: In order to investigate change of isokinetic trunk muscle strength according to decrease of body composition analysis parameter after obesity treatment. Methods: 2 obese patients have been treated with oriental medical obese treatment for 1 month. One patient got the exercise treatment, another didn`t. Before and after treatment, the segmental bioelectrical impedance analysis, isokinetic trunk muscle strength test were performed. Then we analyzed the relationship of data. Results: After obesity treatment, BMI(Body Mass Index), PBF(Percentage of Body Fat), WHR(Waist Hip Ratio) were decreased in all patient and LBM(Lean Body Mass) was increased. In non-exercise patient, Ext.PT(extension Peak Torque) was decreased and Flex.PT(flexion Peak Torque) was increased. In exercise patient showed the opposite results. E/F ratio became more imbalance. Conclusions: Ext.PT was decreased in non-exercise patient but increased in exercise patient. And the trunk muscle strength became imbalance in both patients, right after the treatment. So trunk muscle exercise should be carried out and it is necessary to do long term study.

Objectives: This study was performed in order to investigate the relation of body composition analysis and radiological parameter(lumbosacral angle, lumbar lordortic angle, lumbar gravity line). Methods: This study was carried out with the data from comprehensive medical testing. 75 subject aged 20-59 performed the segmental bioelectrical impedance analysis, questionnaire. And lumbosacral angle, lumbar lordortic angle and lumbar gravity line were measured in the standing position x-ray. Then we analyzed the data. Results: Low back pain(LBP) prevalence in high obesity index(Body Mass Index(BMI), Percentage of Body Fat(PBF), Waist Hip Ratio(WHR)) group was higher than LBP prevalence in normal obesity index group(p<0.01). In LBP group, lumbosacral angle, lumbar lordortic angle were significantly lager than Non-LBP group(p<0.001). And 75% of LBP group indicated abnormal lumbar gravity line ratio(0.67 < Normal lumbar gravity line ratio <1.00). When it comes to analyze relation between obesity index and radiological parameter, no-significant change was seen. Conclusions: This study carried as following research after the study on relation of obesity, LBP and trunk muscle strength. Results from this investigation showed positive correlation between obesity and LBP prevalence. But obesity index didn`t indicate significant correlation with structural changes of lumbar vertebrae. When considering prior research, trunk muscle strength changes were more related to LBP prevelence in obese people. This results are expected to explain causes of LBP in obese group.

Objectives: It is known that the colon therapy can clear the colon of old, hardened, waste material and harmful toxins and can promote a return of normal, regular bowel movement. But there is a few studies which verify this benefits. I think if the colon therapy can promote a return of normal bowel movement, the benefits will be maintained after the treatment. Therefore this study was planned to evaluate the benefits of colon therapy and if the benefits will be maintained or not. Methods: There were 30 patients who were treated the colon therapy over 2 times at Seoul Oriental Hospital, Kyung-Won University, from February, 2003 to February, 2004. The evacuation habit score was checked before, right after and 1 month after the treatment. And the satisfaction score was also checked right after the treatment and 1 month after the treatment. And then this scores were analyzed by paired t-test. Results: 1. The evacuation habit scores checked after the treatment were statistically significant(p<0.01) as compared the scores checked before the treatment. 2. The evacuation habit scores were maintained until 1 month after the treatment.3.The satisfaction scores checked 1 month after the treatment were rose in 34.8%, maintained in 56.5% and had descent in 8.7% of patients as comparing the scores checked right after the treatment. 4. 23.3% of patients reported their side effects, and the reported side effects were abdominal pain, nausea, anal bleeding, dizziness and anal pain. Conclusions: The results from this study demonstrated that the colon therapy can promote a return of normal bowel movement.
