        Transmandibular implant 를 이용한 하악 재건의 치험례

        The resorption of the residual ridge of the edentulous patient has given some problems to be functionally restored to the patient and the dentists. As a result of the bone atrophy, the denture-bearing area becomes smaller and the function of the denture becomes lower. In the case of which the common denture cannot restore the function of the mandible, endosteal implants can be very helpful to replace it and has been performed. But even endosteal implants can not be used if there is no enough available bone to be placed. In that case, transmandibular implant has been generally acepted as an treatment option. This case report is to show the reconstruction of the completely edentulous mandible of a 70 year old male patient with the transmandibular implant. The surgery was done along the protocol of the BOSKER TMI SYSTEM, and the final denture was delivered at the 3rd month after the surgery. General problems such as infection, periodontal problem, implant loosening have not been detected by now.The patient was very satisfied with the results of the treatment and the subjective findings as the fucntional recovery, esthetics and the psychologic stability show good results. Thus the transmandibular implant seems to be the desirable treatment option to restore the function of the severly atrophic mandible.

        The Half-Metallicity of Co2FeGe Full Heusler Alloy in (001) Thin Film: First Principles Study

        The electronic and magnetic properties of the Co2FeGe full Heusler alloy in (001) thin film are investigated using the first-principles electronic structure calculations within the density functional theory. We employ various exchange correlation functionals including the local density approximation (LDA), the generalized gradient approximation (GGA), and the additional +U corrections for strong on-site Coulomb interaction of transition metal 3d states, aiming to examine the correlation effect on the electronic structures which determine the spin gap and thus the half-metallicity. Our results reveal that the Co2FeGe thin film is metallic in both LDA and GGA, while the +U correction opens up the spin gap for spin minority channel in GGA+U but not in LDA+U in contrast to its bulk alloy which is predicted to be half-metallic in both LDA+U and GGA+U approaches with total spin magnetic moment of 6 μB. It is found that the surface states developed around the Fermi level and the enhanced 3d eg-t2g band splitting for the spin minority channel due to the correlation effect play critical roles to determine the emergence of the half-metallicity.

        종신보험에서의 영향 변수의 영향력 분석에 관한 연구

        In life insurance, the net premium is derived based on the expected life time distribution and expected interest rate. The losses or risks of the insurer are significantly affected by the obtained net premium. Thus, in life insurance, these two factors, the life time distribution and expected interest rate, are considered as important influential factors. In this paper, we investigate the effect of these influential factors on the net premiums, management risks, and the probability of losses. Furthermore, relative influence of these factors is also studied. 생명보험의 보험료는 보험가입자들의 예정 수명분포와 예정 이자율에 기초하여 산출되게 된다. 산출된 보험료는 향후 해당 보험을 운영하는 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 보험회사나 보험가입자들의 손실 그리고 이들이 부담하는 리스크에 직접적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 생명 보험에서 이들 두 가지 요소, 즉 예정 수명분포와 예정 이자율은 중요한 영향 변수로 여겨진다. 본 논문에서는 종신보험에서 이들 영향 변수가 보험료, 보험 운영상의 리스크, 보험운영에 있어서의 손실 확률에 미치는 영향력을 분석하고 상대적인 영향력의 크기를 비교해 보고자 한다.

        Ab initio Study on Adsorption of Transition-Metal Phthalocyanine on a Quasi-One-Dimensional Metallic Surface, In/Si(111)-4⨯1

        Transition-metal containing metal phthalocyanine (MPc) molecules are representative molecular magnets and their adsorption on two-dimensional metallic surfaces has been extensively studied. In/Si(111)-41 is a prototypical quasi-one-dimensional metallic surface made up of alternating In nanowires and Si Seiwatz chains. Here, we investigated the adsorption of MPc (M = Mn, Fe, Co) on In/Si(111)-41 using density functional theory calculations. We found that there are three locally stable adsorption sites of MPc, two on In nanowires and one on Seiwatz chains. Also, the stable orientation of MPc is dierent depending on adsorption sites. Among three MPc's, MnPc are found to carry a nite magnetic moment of 1:6 2:1 B in its three almost-degenerate adsorption structures. The interaction between MPc molecules and the In/Si(111)-41 surface turns out to occur via the charge transfer, and the charge transfer channel varies for dierent adsorption sites: Transition-metal 3dz2 and two N 2pz orbitals on In nanowires vs. four N 2pz orbitals on Seiwatz chains.

        Education types in South Korea have recently been diversified with the rapid changes and improvement in the society. While special spaces for events, special lectures, meetings, seminars, and discussions are needed to support the changing educational environment of universities, most universities either only have general lecture rooms or are aged; therefore, they are absolutely short of spaces to keep up with the changes in the educational environment. Previous research presented data concerning pre-improvement acoustic performance measurements for the project of remodeling small performance facilities of little use within universities into educational spaces exclusively for lectures. This study aimed to use a acoustic simulation based on the data to present data that could help secure optimized acoustic performance through spatial transformation and finishing material selection necessary to remodel small performance halls into educational spaces exclusively for lectures.

      • ABS 생산공정에서 발생하는 소음저감 대책 제안

        ABS는 내열성과 내충격성이 우수한 고기능성 플라스틱 칩이며 완구류, 자동차, 가전제품, 배터리 등 다양한 제품의 소재로 쓰이고 있다. 그러나 이러한 ABS를 생산하기 위해서는 여러대의 압출로 인해 소음이 발생하여 공장내부 뿐만 아니라 Control Room에도 심각한 영향을 미쳐 사무실 근로자들에게 심각한 불쾌감 및 피로감을 유발해 업무능률의 저하를 초래하고 있다. 따라서 선행연구에서는 ABS 생산공정에서 발생하는 소음을 공장내부, 사무실 중문, 사무실 내부 등 3개 지점에서 측정·분석하였으며 그 영향정도를 파악해 보았다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 자료를 토대로 사무실 내부에서 정온한 근무환경을 확보하기 위한 소음 저감 대책 및 방법들에 대해 제안하고자 한다. 이러한 자료는 향후 이와 유사한 고소음 작업장의 저감대책을 수립하는데 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

      • 음향심리분석을 이용한 건설소음 음원의 유형화

        A diversity of daily noises cause residents in the neighborhood to make intensive complaints due to the characteristics, such as a high sound pressure level and shocking, repetitive sound. While legal criteria for regulation have been established to minimize the damage from construction noises, most regulations focus only on the loudness of the sound and still have lots of difficulty in being effective and in resolving the complaints. Therefore, psychological evaluation methods as well as the physical sound pressure level should be taken into account to make criteria for regulating construction noises suitable for the South Korean situation. From this perspective, this study aimed to classify construction noises correctly through a psycho-acoustic experiment on the basis of literature review and present basic data that could help make and revise criteria for regulating construction noises.

        Can Talocural Mobilization and Muscle Energy Technique Improve Balance and Joint Position Sense in Healthy Adults?

        Background: Proprioception in the ankle joint is important for maintaining balance. There is a correlation between joint position sense (JPS), balance and ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (DF-ROM). Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of talocrural joint mobilization (TJM) and muscle energy technique (MET) of plantar flexor muscle (PF) on improving joint position sense (JPS) and static balance. Design: Cross-over randomized trial research. Methods: Sixteen participants (male 10, female 6; 20’s of their age) without ankle instability were recruited. In a randomized, three conditions, no intervention, talocalcaneal mobilization, and PF-MET were all applied to 16 participants. For TJM, the Kaltenborn grade 3 joint gliding method, in which the talus moves posteriorly perpendicular to the tacrocrural joint plane, were used. In the PF-MET, MET method were applied gastrocnemius muscle and soleus muscle with 25% of 1 Repeat Maximum of each muscle. The all participants performed PF-MET and TJM for 18 minutes. DF-ROM measured the weightbearing lunge test. JPS measured using the active joint angle reproduction test. Static balance was measured displacement of center of pressure parameter. Results: PF-MET and TJM had significant differences in DF-ROM and AP displacements. PF-MET significantly increased at 5° and 15° of plantar flexion and 5° of dorsiflexion, and COP velocity significantly decreased in JPS compared to TJM. Conclusion: PF-MET and TJM are effective in increasing DF-ROM. However, PF-MET has a more positive effect on improving JPS and static balance than on talocrural joint mobilization.
