Patented technological-knowledge exploitation by out-licensing is an important issue for strategic technology management. The systematic approach to technology licensing appears to be critical for the creation of new opportunities and the capture of value from a firm’s own technology assets. This study investigates what drives two modes of IP licensing activities: the ‘simultaneous own using and out-licensing’ and the ‘only out-licensing.’ This study empirically analyzes how the firms’ IP licensing activities are affected by IP-related managerial activities (e.g. IP planning and auditing), the type of IP organization, and the use of intermediary services, by using a firm-level data from the “2007 Intellectual Property-related Activities Survey in Korea.” Our findings show that firms conducting IP planning and auditing tend to license out more patents through simultaneously exploiting technologies internally and externally. In addition, this study finds that firms with the project-based IP organization tend to license more patents through the purely external technology exploitation. Finally, the collaboration with technology intermediary service providers enhances the simultaneous internal and external technology exploitation.

The contractor management for the effective defense project is essential factor in the modern defense acquisition task. The occurrence of unlawful company causes hastiness for project manager and setback to the deployment of defense weapon system. In this paper, we develop a prediction model for the effective defense project by using the discriminant analysis and analyse the variables that discriminate the unlawful company in many variables. It is expected that our model can be used to improve the project management capability of defense acquisition and contribute to the establishment of efficient procurement procedure through entry of the reliable defense manufacturer.

The management systems of defense projects need to be well-maintained because of huge cost and long-terms of acquisition & operation in conducting defense acquisition. In this paper, we use a structural equation model(SEM) to develop an project management index(PMI) for effective defense project. The concept of a customer satisfaction index is used to assess the PMI for strategic improvement plans for various characteristics of project management. It is expected that our model can be used to evaluate and improve the project management capability of defense acquisition.

This study was conducted in order to find out the basic data and informations for the accidents for repairing of agricultural machines. This study was summarized as fellows : 1. Among the total repair work, the ratio of repair accident was 68.9% and the accident ratio with power tiller, tractor, and combine was 84.8%. The accident occurred frequently in April to May and September to October because of frequent use of machines during this months. The accidents occurred often of ten to eleven and two to three afternoon in a day. 2. The 36.3% of the accident types was farming machines and the 60.4% of the accident occurred in yard of repair shop. The 34.4% of accident was caused by people, 26.2% by machines, 24.9% by environmental factors, and 14.5% by others. 3. In accident damage, human damage was 98.4% and economic damage was 43.6%. There was only 40.2% in having agricultural machinery insurance and 22.5% of research applicant answered that they would not have insurance in the future. 4. The 58.2% of the injured parts occurred in fingers, hands, wrists, or arms and the 74.4% of the damage types were bruise, prick or abrasion. The damaged parts of machinery were belt of power transmission device, chains, sharpened knives, narrow mechanism or cultivating knives for rotary. 5. The average days of medical treatment for casualty was 15.5 days and the average expense of medical treatment per person was 189,200 won. The days of temporary rest and the economic damage per person due to accident were 12.8 days and 469,300 won.

현대 국방획득 업무에서 계약업체의 관리는 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 국방조달에 있어서 부정당업자의 발생은 무기체계의 전력화에 큰 차질을 유발시켜 획득사업이 원활히 이행되지 못하는 원인을 야기시킨다. 본 논문에서는 인공신경망 모형을 이용하여 국방조달에서 부정당업자를 판별할 수 있는 예측모형을 개발하고자 한다. 모형에 사용된 데이터는 국내 중소 제조기업을 대상으로 구축된 학습용 및 검증용 자료를 활용하여 실증분석 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 제시된 모형의 결과로 사업관리자들의 사업관리 능력을 향상시키고, 견실한 국방조달업체의 진입을 통한 조달질서 확립에 기여를 할 수 있으리라 기대된다. In this paper, we propose the Artificial Neural Network to develop a prediction model for the discrimination of unlawful company in defense procurement. The data which are used in analysis, are obtained targeting domestic small & medium manufacture enterprises. It is expected that our model can be used to improve the program management capability for defense acquisition and contribute to the establishment of efficient procurement procedure through entry of the reliable domestic manufacturer.
로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용한 국가조달 부정당업자 예측 모형 개발

The contractor management for the effective defense project is essential factor in the modern defense acquisition project. Therefore, in this paper, we develop a prediction model for the effective defense project by using the Logistic Regression and analyse the core variables that determine the unlawful company in many variables. It is expected that our model can be used to improve the project management capability of defense acquisition and contribute to the establishment of efficient procurement procedure through entry of the reliable domestic manufacturer.
