        카나다산 채종박의 사료적 가치에 관한 연구 2 . 카나다산 채종박의 급여수준이 산란계의 능력에 미치는 영향

        An experiment was conducted for a period of 48 weeks to study the effects of feeding different levels (0,3,6,9 and 12%) of rapeseed meal en the laying performance using 480 pullets of Starcross strain. Results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Although statistically significant difference was not found among the treatments. hen-day egg production ?as decreased slightly with increasing the levels of rapeseed meal up to 9%. It was noted, however, that hens fed the 12% level of rapeseed meal produced more eggs than any other groups including the control. The data of feed efficiency showed the same tendency, although no significant difference was found among the treatments. 2. Indreasing the levels of rapeseed meal resulted in the decrease in the average egg weight and feed consumption without any statistical significance. 3. Hens fed the rapeseed meal gained less body weight than the control birds. 4. Patty liver syndrome was noted to he associated with feeding the rapeseed meal. Mortality due to the syndrome did not occur until the 25th week of the experimental period. 5. The metabolism trial demonstrated that when hens were fed rapeseed meal, dietary fat was utilized more effectively than that of the control group (P$lt;0.05) but the utilizability of dietary NFE was declined. There was no consistent trend among the treatments as for the nitrogen retention.

        육성돈에 대한 전분박발효사료의 사료적 가치에 관한 연구

        Thirty Landrace x Yorshire cross-breds were employed in this experiment to study the nutritional effects of substitution of a fermented starch-pulp feed for the commercial growing finishing swine ration at the levels of 0, 10, 20, 30, 40%. An attempt was also made to see the effects of increase of protein in the fermented sweetpotato starch pulp diets by adding 20% fish meal on the growing performance of growing-finishing swine. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. The contents of thiamin, riboflavin and protein in the fermented starch-pulp feed were richer than those of the raw starch-pulp feed. 2. Body weight gain, feed consumption and feed conversion rate were affected adversely with the increase of the substitution level of the fermented feed for the commercial growing-finishing hog rations. However, significant differences (P$lt;0.05) were found only for body weight gain of 30% and 40% substitution levels. The performances of pigs were greatly improved, when the protein content of fermented starch pulp diet (40A) was raised by adding 20% fish meal. 3. The digestibility of crude protein and NFE in the fermented starch pulp was 32.2% and 46.5%, respectively. Digestibility of dry matter, protein, fiber and NFE in the fermented starch-pulp feed decreased as the level of fermented starch pulp was increased in the rations. 4. Present evidence indicated that backfat thickness of pigs fed experimental diets was thinner as the level of inclusion of fermented starch pulp in the rations was increased,

        사료자원 개발을 위한 연구 2 . 고열량사료로서 어유의 사료적 이용에 관한 연구

        A feeding experiment was conducted employing 360 five-day-old broiler chicks of Starbro strain to evaluate the nutritive value of fish oil as a high energy feed. Birds were distributed to 6 experimental treatments, 4 replicates per treatment, consisting of non-lipid control, fish oil 5%, animal fat 5%, rice bran wax 5%, fish oil 10%, and, animal fat 10%. Results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Linoleic acid content, one of the essential fatty acids, of fish oil was considerably lower (0.8%) than the other animal fats or vegetable oils. Animal fat and rice bran wax used in this study had their linoleic acid contents of 9.1% and 33.6%, respectively. 2. Only the birds fed diet containing 10% fish oil was significantly lower (p$lt;0.01) in body weight gain and consumed small amounts of feed. The birds fed diet containing 5% rice bran wax and control diets consumed more diets than any other groups. No differences in feed efficiency were noticed in all treatments. Mortality of the fish oil fed birds were much higher than the others. 3. The birds fed diets containing 10% fish oil or animal fat utilized dry matter and total carbohydrate poorly than the other chicks. With regards to nitrogen retention, rice bran wax group was the highest and fish oil groups were the lowest. The MEn value of 10% fish oil diet was significantly lower compared to the 10% animal fat diet. 4. With these results, it may be conducted that 5% or less of fish oil could be used in broiler rations because of the adverse effect in body weight gain and higher morality observed from the birds fed fish oil. Further study may be necessary for the use of fish oil or mixture of fish oil with the other animal fat, and to determine the proper level within 5% level in broiler rations.

        당밀 - 요소 액상사료의 급여가 우유생산량 및 우유의 화학성분에 미치는 영향

        To study the effects of molasses-urea liquid mixture supplementation on the milk yields, milk composition and feed utilization of lactating dairy cows, a series of two experiments was conducted during winter season of hay feeding period (Experiment I) and during summer season of green grass feeding period(Experiment II). Results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Feeding molasses urea mixture in liquid form replacing 20% of concentrates resulted no changes in the production of milk, chemical composition of milk, feed intake and feed efficiency for milk production when this was fed either in the form of mixture with concentrates or in the form of liquid. 2. Present data revealed that 5.23 won of cash during hay feeding period and 4.34 won of cash during green grass feeding period could be saved by feeding 20% molasses urea mixtures instead of the same amount of concentrates. 3. No adverse effects or ammonium toxicity were detected by feeding urea upto 170 g daily when this was fed three times a day. It may be concluded from the above results that molasses urea mixture can be used to lactating dairy cows without any harmful effect.

        가금에 대한 인의 적정공급수준 결정을 위한 연구 3 . 인의 공급수준이 산란계의 능력에 미치는 영향

        This 24-week experiment with a total of 200 White Leghorn laying hens of 21-week old which were fed diets containing 0.43, 0.53, 0.62, 0.72 and 0.81% total phosphorus respectively was conducted to determine the optimum dietary level of phosphorus. The results obtained are summarized as follows 1. No difference was found in the egg production rate, average egg weight, feed consumption, Feed efficiency and rate of shelless egg laid among 5 treatments. 2. The egg shell thickness, and the contents of crude ash and calcium of egg shell were not significantly affected by the levels of phosphorus supplied. 3. The utilizability of crude protein (P $lt;0.05) and crude fat (P$lt;0.01) was significantly lower for hens fed 0.43% phosphorus and higher for hens fed 0.62% phosphorus. However, in the utilizability of dry matter and carbohydrate, the dietary levels of phosphorus had no apparent effects. 4. It was found that there were no differences in crude ash, calcium and phosphorus contents of tibia. among 5 experimental groups. 5. Hens in all the treatments gained body weight during the experimental period, although the gain in body weight was not significantly different. Mortality was not affected by any of the diets fed. Results obtained in this study indicate that supplement of 0.62% total phosphorus in laying diets was adequate for the performance of laying hens, although 0.43% level of total phosphorus did not exert any adverse effects.

        가금에 대한 인의 적정공급수준 결정을 위한 연구 1 . 인의 공급 수준이 부로일러의 능력에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was conducted to determine the optimum dietary level of phosphorus for broiler chicks for a period of 8 weeks. A total of 300 chicks of one day old were divided into 5 dietary levels of total phosphorus consisted of 0.47, 0.56, 0.66, 0.75 and 0.84%. The results obtained are summarized as follows 1. The supplement of 0.66%, phosphorus in broiler rations had better growth rate than ether levels used. It was found that the 0.47% group showed the worst rate of growth (P$lt;0.01) among treatments. 2. Although no statistical significance was found in feed conversion rare among treatments, the annum of feed consumption was significantly (P$lt;0.01) smaller for the 0.47% fed group. 3. It way found that the nutrient utilizabilities of broiler rations were not affected by the dietary levels of phosphorus. 4. The tibia ash content of broiler, fed 0.47% phosphorus was significantly (P$lt;0.05) lower than other groups. However, no significant difference among other using levels was found is the content of tibia calcium and phosphorus. 5. Present data showed that the mortality of experimental birds for 8 week of experimental periods was increased as the level of phosphorus in diets decreased and Ca : P ratio was widened. From the results of present experiment it may be concluded that 0.66%-0.75% of total phosphorus was optimum dietary level in properly balanced broiler diets.

        국산 인산칼슘제의 사료적 가치에 관한 연구 1 . 고수준의 어분급여시 인산칼슘제가 부로일러의 성장능력 및 경골내 칼슘 인의 축적에 미치는 영향

        In order to compare the utilization of calcium and phosphorus from locally produced tricalcium phosphate (TCP) with that of the imported TCP, dicalcium phosphate (DCP) or bone meal when a considerable amount of fish meal was fed, 300 broiler-type chicks of one day old were divided into 5 treatments consisted of Local TCP, Imparted TCP, Imported DCP, Bone meal and Control group for a period of 8 weeks. The results obtained are summarized as follows. 1. The calcium and phosphorus contents of the imported TCP (32.0%, 18.0%) were the highest, and (those of local TCP, imported DCP and bone meal were analyzed to be 29.6% and 14.6%, 23.7% and 18.0%, 25.1% and 0.1%, respectively. The fluorine contents of all the phosphate supplements studies were less than 0.36%. 2. Body weight ,gain, feed intake and feed efficiency were not influenced by the kind of calcium and phosphorus sources, and were a slightly lower for control group than other groups, though there were no significant differences. 3. No difference was found in some nutrients utilizability when different source of phosphate was fed, however, the groups received TCF, DCP or bone meal showed better utilizability of dry matter, crude fat and carbohydrate than that of the control. 4. The ash content of tibia of chicks fed calcium phosphorus supplements was higher than control group, especially in the case of starter chicks, however, there were no significant differences. 5. The calcium and phosphorus contents of tibia increased proportionally as the ash contents of tibia increased. It was found that mortality of experimental chicks was extremely low. The results obtained from present experiments indicated the various source of inorganic phosphate had no effect on the utilizations of calcium and phosphorus in the diets of broiler chicks. The nutritive values of locally produced TCP was found to be the same as imported products.

        사료자원 개발을 위한 연구 1 . 부로일러에 대한 해조류의 사료적 가치에 관한 연구

        A total of 240 five-day-old Starbro broiler chicks was allotted to 4 treatments, 4 replica tes per treatment, according to completely randomized design to find out the effects of substitution levels(0, 2, 4 and 6%) of Korean kelp meal for wheat mill run on the growing performance of experimental birds. Results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Kelp meals studied were analyzed for the contents of proximate compositions(moisture 15.24%, crude protein 12.84%, crude fat 1.97%, crude fiber 6.02%, nitrogen free extract 36.65%), vitamins, minerals and also for amino acids. It was found that protein quality of kelp meal was as good as wheat bran. 2. Although no significant difference was found among treatments in body weight gain, feed intake, feed efficiency and mortality, the birds fed 4% kelp meal diet showed the best performance in growth rate. 3. In the nutrients utilizability and ME values of finisher diets, no significant difference was found among treatments. 4. Based on these results described above, it seemed that substitution of wheat bran with kelp meal up to 6% level could be used without adverse effect in the broiler ration.

        볏짚 가공사료의 개발을 위한 연구 2 . 면양에 대한 볏짚 가공사료의 사료섭취량 , 소화율 및 VFA 조성에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was conducted to examine feed intake, digestibility and volatile fatty acid (V FA) composition of ruminal juice of NaOH treated rice straw or NaOH treated rice straw pellet through digestibility experiment and the determination of ruminal pH and volatile fatty acid pattern for lamb. Tweleve male lambs weighing 45 ㎏ on average body weight were divided into 4 treatments i.e. control group (raw rice straw chopped in 5 ㎝), 1% NaOH treated group, 3.5% NaOH treated pellet A group (1.7-1.8 ㎝ in diameter and 4.5㎝ in length) and 3.5% NaOH treated pellet B group (2.4 ㎝-2.5 ㎝ in diameter and 3-4 ㎝ in length). Among 12 lambs, 8 lambs were used for digestion trial and 4 fistulated lambs were used for measuring the VFA pattern and changes in pH of rumen juice. The results obtained were summarized as follows. 1. The daily rice straw feed intake of lambs fed rice straw pellet B (806 g/day) and rice straw pellet A (767 g/day) was higher than that of NaOH treated rice straw (679 g/day) or control group (396 g/day). 2. Digestibilities of dry matter, C. Protein, C. fiber and NFE in rice straw pellet B were the highest and that of untreated straw was lowest. Digestibilities of crude fiber and NFE in rice straw pellet A were higher than those of NaOH treated rice straw. However, the opposite trend were shown in those of dry matter, crude fat and crude protein. The contents of DCP and TDN of rice straw pellet B (1.42%, 51.39%) were highest and those of untreated straw (0.39%, 41.58%) were the lowest. 3. The total VFA production of rumen juice was the highest in NaOH treated rice straw pellet A group (101.93 m M/l) and was the lowest in control group (88.39 m M/l). In change of VFA. production, NaOH treated rice straw pellet A and B groups showed the peak at one hour after feeding and was half hour in NaOH treated rice straw. But control group was decreased for one hour. No significant difference was found in pH change of rumen juice collected. According to the present results, NaOH treated with or without palleting the rice straw is considered to be an improved source roughage for the ruminant animals.

        국산 인산칼슘제의 사료적 가치에 관한 연구 2 . 칼슘·인 공급제의 종류가 육성중에 있는 산란용계의 성장효율 및 경골내 칼슘·인의 축적에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was conducted to compare the utilizability of calcium and phosphorus in locally produced various sources of calcium-phosphorus supplements for egg type growing chicks from 0 week to 19 weeks of age. A total of 320 White Leghorn chickens of Hisex strain were divided into 5 treatments consited of Tricalcium phosphate₁ (TCP₁), Tricalcium phosphare ₂(TCP₂), Dicalcium phosphate (DCP), Bone ash and Control group. The results obtained are summarized as follows. 1. The calcium, phosphorus and fluorine contents of TCP₁, TCP₂, DCP and bone ash used in-this experiment were analyzed to be 29.98%, 15.72 % and 0.14% ; 26.64%, 13.51% and 0.09% ; 26.62%, 13.51% and 0.3p% 36.33%, 15.23% and 0.10%, respectively. 2. Body weight gain, feed intake and feed efficiency were not influenced by the sources of calcium and phosphorus during the growing period of 19 weeks. However, it was found that body weight gain, feed intake and feed efficiency were significantly (p $lt;0.05) lower for control group than other groups during the starting period of 0 to 6 weeks. There were no differences in the body weight gain, feed intake and feed efficiency during the growing period of 6 to 19 weeks among treatments. 3. No difference in nutrients utilizability during the growing period of 0 to 19 weeks was observed among treatments. It was found that the rate of nitrogen retention was somewhat decreased gradually toward the maturity of chicks progressed.
