Performance of the CO₂ slush maker operating with R-404A was experimentally investigated. The slush maker had three evaporator, and test was conducted at standard outdoor condition (32℃, 65 RH). The optimum refrigerant charge was obtained to be 400g. The time required for slush making was 53 minutes and the power consumption was 1.33 ㎾. The effect of the number of operating evaporators was also investigated. The slush making time and the power consumption increased as the number of operating evaporators increased.

Thermal performance analysis was conducted for the cross-flow enthalpy heat exchanger. Appropriate heat transfer coefficient and friction factor equations for laminar channel flow were selected, and the heat exchanger was analyzed using the unmixed cross-flow ε-NTU relationship. It is shown that the simple approach reasonably predict the available heat transfer and the pressure drop data. Additional issues on the entrance length, fin efficiency, mass transfer through the membrane paper are discussed.

N/A Serum thyroglobulin (Tg) levels were measured by radioimmunoassay in patients with Graves` disease before and after antithyroid drug therapy in an attempt to evaluate the clinical significance of the serum Tg. The result were as follows: 1) The serum Tg level in untreated patients (n=29) was 45.6±21ng/ml, which was significantly higher than that of normal controls (n=15), 9.2±3.2ng/ml. 2) The serum Tg levels in treated TRH-responsive patients (n=25) and in treated TRH-nonresponsive patients (n=29) were 18.5±10.7ng/ml, 25.2±12.9ng/ml respectively, which were significantly lower than that of untreated patients. The serum Tg level in TRH-responsive patients was significantly lower than that of TRH-nonresponsive patients. 3) There were no correlation between serum Tg level and serum T3 T4 or the duration of therapy. Above results suggest that serum Tg levels change according to the degree of activity of Graves disease and could be used as an index for evaluation of remission.

본 연구에서는 환경분야 및 국토개발계획 수립을 위한 기초자료인 토지피복도의 건물 추출에 대한 실험을 수행하였다. LiDAR 데이터를 이용하여 제작한 격자 크기 1m의 DSM과 DEM을 이용하여 nDSM을 제작하고, 이를 참조 데이터로 건물 추출 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 영상만을 이용한 건물 추출에 비하여 영상에 LiDAR 데이터를 참조할 경우 높은 분류 정확도를 얻을 수 있었다.
압력파 재현을 통한 플랜트 기자재 수명예측에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 플랜트 기자재 중 압력파에 취약한 밸브 및 신축관 이음을 대상으로 압력파 발생 시 전달되는 압력파를 변화를 현장에서 취득한 후 밸브 및 신축관 이음에 전달한 압력파 내구시험을 수행하였다. 압력파 내구 시험 시 내구수명의 주요 가속인자로 신축관 내부 압력상태를 가정하고 신축관 이음 내부 설정압 따라 진행되었다. 내구수명 데이터를 이용, 각 조건별 평균수명 데이터를 잘 따르는 직선 및 곡선을 접합하여 수명예측 모델식을 유도하였고 특정 내부 설정압에서의 내구수명 결과를 통하여 수명 예측모델의 유효성을 검증하였다. 한편, 시험 중 발생 된 신축관의 고장모드는 모두 벨로우즈 부 표면에 발생된 크랙과 크랙을 통한 누수 등이 있었다. 향후 본 연구는 진동내구 수명의 가속요인인 압력 외 온도상태 등을 다양한 수명변수가 적용 가능한 복합수명예측 모델식을 개발할 예정이다. In this study, among the plant equipment, valve and expansion joint which are vulnerable to pressure fluctuation was tested by reproducing and delivering pressure wave to them. pressure fluctuation was measured when pressure wave occurred on site. For the pressure reproducing durability test, the internal pressure status of the expansion joint was assumed as a factor of durability life and lifespan prediction model was induced by curve fitting along the lifespan datum at each pressure(8, 10, 12 kgf/cm²) and verified at a certain pressure(14 kgf/cm²) status comparing experiment result and prediction value with a small deviation relatively. During the test, major failure mode, crack and water leakage were found on the surface of bellows part. Meanwhile, induced lifetime prediction model through this study was followed to inverse power law model typically but is applicable only in this time. In this future, composite lifespan prediction model including two more stress factor including temperature status will be develop.
당뇨병 환자에서 저혈당성 자극에 대한 인슐린 길항호르몬의 변화

N/A In order to observe the response of counterregulatory hormones to hypoglycemia in diabetics, plasma glucose, Glucagon, epinephrine and norepinephrine concentrations were measured in an insulin-induced hypoglycemic state. the Blood sample were taken before and 15,30,60; 90 and 120 minutes after intravenous injection of 0.1-0.2 U/kg of purified regular insulin in 16 healthy volunteers, 2 IDDM and 18 NIDDM patients after 12 of hours overnight fasting. The results were as follows: 1. In the normal control, plasma glucose concentration after insulin injection decreased abruptly to reach nadir in 30 minutes (42.6±14.4 mg/dl) while glucagon secretion increased two fold above the baseline in 33 minutes (93.3±32.1 to 204.4±85.5pg/ml, p>0.001). Epinephrine secretion in response to hypoglycemia was abrupt and increased tenfold above the baseline in 30 minutes (from 80.0±22.8 to 876.6±182.7 pg/ml), 2. In IDDM and NIDDM patients, the plasma glucose concentration after insulin injection decreased slowly to reach nadir in 60 mintues while the glucagon response in diabetic groups were depressed, especially in the IDDM group. Also, epinephrine secretion in response to hypoglycemia was severely depressed in the IDDM group but slightly preserved in the NJDDM group. The results of this study indicate that counter- regulatory hormones (glucagon and epinephrine) in diabetics show delayed and depressed responses to hypoglycemia. Norepinephrine does not play a major role in the metabolic response to insulin-induced hypoglycemia in both normal and diabetic people,
