Performance of the CO₂ slush maker operating with R-404A was experimentally investigated. The slush maker had three evaporator, and test was conducted at standard outdoor condition (32℃, 65 RH). The optimum refrigerant charge was obtained to be 400g. The time required for slush making was 53 minutes and the power consumption was 1.33 ㎾. The effect of the number of operating evaporators was also investigated. The slush making time and the power consumption increased as the number of operating evaporators increased.

Drop-in tests were conducted using R290/DME (65:35) mixture in a ice-cream maker for possible replacement of R-502 and R-404A. At the standard room temperature (20℃), the time required for initial ice-cream making was 4’ 59” for R290/DME. The electric energy consumed was 439 kJ for R290/DME. The mass flow rate as well as the temperature and pressure data are also provided.
압력파 재현을 통한 플랜트 기자재 수명예측에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 플랜트 기자재 중 압력파에 취약한 밸브 및 신축관 이음을 대상으로 압력파 발생 시 전달되는 압력파를 변화를 현장에서 취득한 후 밸브 및 신축관 이음에 전달한 압력파 내구시험을 수행하였다. 압력파 내구 시험 시 내구수명의 주요 가속인자로 신축관 내부 압력상태를 가정하고 신축관 이음 내부 설정압 따라 진행되었다. 내구수명 데이터를 이용, 각 조건별 평균수명 데이터를 잘 따르는 직선 및 곡선을 접합하여 수명예측 모델식을 유도하였고 특정 내부 설정압에서의 내구수명 결과를 통하여 수명 예측모델의 유효성을 검증하였다. 한편, 시험 중 발생 된 신축관의 고장모드는 모두 벨로우즈 부 표면에 발생된 크랙과 크랙을 통한 누수 등이 있었다. 향후 본 연구는 진동내구 수명의 가속요인인 압력 외 온도상태 등을 다양한 수명변수가 적용 가능한 복합수명예측 모델식을 개발할 예정이다. In this study, among the plant equipment, valve and expansion joint which are vulnerable to pressure fluctuation was tested by reproducing and delivering pressure wave to them. pressure fluctuation was measured when pressure wave occurred on site. For the pressure reproducing durability test, the internal pressure status of the expansion joint was assumed as a factor of durability life and lifespan prediction model was induced by curve fitting along the lifespan datum at each pressure(8, 10, 12 kgf/cm²) and verified at a certain pressure(14 kgf/cm²) status comparing experiment result and prediction value with a small deviation relatively. During the test, major failure mode, crack and water leakage were found on the surface of bellows part. Meanwhile, induced lifetime prediction model through this study was followed to inverse power law model typically but is applicable only in this time. In this future, composite lifespan prediction model including two more stress factor including temperature status will be develop.
