        혹한기 광산배수 처리 공정 내 황산염 환원 박테리아의 활성 증진을 위한 발광다이오드의 이용 제안

        본 연구는 폐광산에서 배출되는 산성광산배수가 하천수 및 지하수에 유출되면서 발생되는 환경 오염들을 막기 위해 생물학적 자연정화 처리 방법인 연속적 알칼리도 생성 시스템의 효율을 증대 시키는 방안에 관한 연구이다. 연속적 알칼리도 생성 시스템를 이용한 산성광산배수의 처리는 대부분 황산염 환원 박테리아를 이용한 생물학적 처리 기술이며, 실제 현장 적용실험에서 그 효과가 증명되었고, 광산배수 정화 사업에 적용하도록 개발된 사례가 많다. 그러나 계절적인 온도 저하로 기온이 매우 낮은 겨울이나 초봄 동안에는 황산염 환원 박테리아가 생존은 가능하더라도 황산염을 환원시키는 활동이 거의 멈추게 되어 지속적인 산성광산배수 처리 효율에 문제점을 야기한다. 본 연구에서는 연속적 알칼리도 생성 시스템에 발광 다이오드를 접목하여 유기물 층의 황산염 환원 박테리아 활성을 증진시키고, 온도가 낮은 겨울철에도 발광 다이오드의 발열 효과를 이용하여 활성 온도를 유지 할 수 있는 방안을 제안한다. 더불어, 산성광산배수 처리 시설은 전력을 쉽게 공급할 수 없는 곳에 위치한 지리적인 특성을 고려하여, 발광 다이오드에 전원을 공급할 수 있는 전원 공급 장치로 태양 전지 모듈 사용을 제안한다. 본 방법을 통하여 추가적 연구들이 진행된다면, 태양광 에너지와 발광 다이오드를 융합한 친환경적인 방법을 이용하여 겨울철에도 산성광산배수 처리 기술의 효율을 극대화 할 수 있을 것이다. This study presents measures to enhance the efficiency of Successive Alkalinity Producing Systems(SAPS), a natural biological purification method that prevents environmental pollution arising from the release of Acid Mine Drainage(AMD) from abandoned mines into rivers and groundwater. The treatment of AMD using SAPS is based on biological processing technology that mostly involves sulfate reducing bacteria(SRB). It has been proven effective in real-world applications, and has been employed in various projects on the purification of AMD. However, seasonal decrease in temperature leads to a deterioration in the efficiency of the process because sulfate-reducing activity is almost non-existent during cold winters and early spring even if SRB is able to survive. Against this backdrop, this study presents measures to enhance the activity of the SRB of the organic layer by integrating light emitting diode(LED)s in SAPS and to maintain the active temperature using LEDs in cold winters. Given that mine drainage facilities are located in areas where power cannot be easily supplied, solar cell modules are proposed as the main power source for LEDs. By conducting further research based on the present study, it will be possible to enhance the efficiency of AMD treatment under extreme cold weather using solar energy and LEDs, which will serve as an environmentally-friendly solution in line with the era of green growth.

        M&S 신뢰도 확보를 위한 VV&A 절차 적용에 관한 연구

        This study introduces the verification, validation & accreditation (VV&A) process for modeling & simulation (M&S). VV&A is standard process for credibility of M&S. In several countries including USA, for weapon system of Defense Development using M&S, VV&A is necessary procedures to acquire official approving for credibility of M&S. Many countries have regular recommend practice guide (RPG) and instructive for VV&A of M&S. In this study, we focus the VV&A key concepts as Department of Defense RPG of USA and give the outline of the main VV&A concepts because we don't have any available VV&A Instructive. Also, this report documents the first significant VV&A application for a MITS(M-SAM Integrate Test System) including Verification and Validation(V&V) activity and tasks.

        용접인력양성을 위한 가상용접훈련 시뮬레이터 효과성 분석

        Welding is one of the most fundamental and necessary work in the industry that demand sophistication of skilled workers. This study is to introduce welding simulator as a training tool, to verify its effectiveness and to measure satisfaction of the trainees. A group of freshman students at a Korea Polytechnics College in their twenties with less experience of welding participated in the study. They were divided into two groups and took a traditional training course (comparison group) and a training course with welding simulator applied reality/haptic technology (experimental group) for same hours respectively. To evaluate training effect, a national certificate test and a survey based on Phillips' ROI (Return on Investment) methodology were conducted by the students and the college respectively. And satisfaction survey among the students based on Kirkpatrick's Four-Level Evaluation Model was also carried out. The results showed that all students in the experimental group passed the national certificate test and the ROI of the experimental group for five years were 110% higher than the comparison group. Furthermore, 25% more students in the experimental group replied "very satisfied" about the overall training course and 75% more students in the same group found that the simulation was very similar to the real welding.

        바이오매스 순환유동층 보일러의 열교환기 고온 부식 특성

        This paper presents the research results of analyzing the high-temperature corrosion characteristics of three currently commercialized heat exchanger tube materials under actual operating conditions of a biomass power plant. In order to precisely analyze the high-temperature corrosion characteristics of these materials, a high-temperature corrosion evaluation device was installed in the power plant equipment, which allows for adjusting the surface temperature of the heat exchanger tubes. Experiments were conducted for approximately 300 hours under various temperature and operating conditions. In this study, the commercialized heat exchanger tube materials used were SA213T12, SA213T22, and SA213T91 alloys. In order to objectively analyze the high-temperature corrosion characteristics of each material, an international standard-based process to remove corrosion products was applied to obtain the weight change of the specimens, and the average thickness loss and corrosion rate were derived. Thus, the high-temperature corrosion results for each condition were quantitatively compared and analyzed. In addition, in order to increase the reliability of the high-temperature corrosion evaluation method introduced in this study, the surface and cross-sectional corrosion of the specimens were confirmed by using scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray analysis. Based on these analysis results, it was found that the corrosion resistance of the commercial heat exchanger materials increases as the content of chrome and nickel in the composition increases. Additionally, it was found that the corrosion phenomenon is rapidly accelerated as the surface temperature increases. Finally, the replacement period (lifetime) of the heat exchanger tubes under each condition could be inferred through this study.

        당귀약침액이 대식세포에서 산화질소(NO) 및 프로스타글란딘 (Prostaglandin) 생성에 미치는 영향

        Objectives : Angelicae Gigantis Radix has been known traditional medicine with antimicrobial activities and it has been widely used for treatment of blood and inflammatory diseases. In the present study, some studies examined anti-inflammation effects of Angelicae Gigantis Radix but they usually were performed by ethanol extracted Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture. So We investigated the inhibitory effects of Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture by hot water and ethanol extract on Nitric oxide(NO) and Prostaglandin $E_2$($PGE_2$) production in lipopolysaccharide(LPS) induced macrophage cell. Methods : Angelicae Gigantis Radix was extracted by ethanol and hot water. Cell viability was determined by MTT assay. To evaluate anti-inflammation effects of Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture, we examined NO and $PGE_2$ production in LPS induced macrophages. The concentrations of NO and $PGE_2$ were measured by Griess assay and Enzyme Immuno-Assay. Results : 1) The MTT assay demonstrated that cytotoxic effect of Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture by hot water extract and ethanol extract in RAW 264.7 macrophage cells were not appeared. 2) Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture by ethanol extract and hot water extract inhibited NO production in LPS induced macrophages significantly. 3) Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture by ethanol extract tended to inhibiting $PGE_2$ production in LPS induced macrophages. And Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture by hot water extract inhibited LPS induced production of $PGE_2$ in RAW 264.7 macrophage cells significantly. Conclusions : This study suggests that Angelicae Gigantis Radix pharmacopuncture may have an anti-inflammatory property through the inhibition of NO and $PGE_2$ production in LPS induced macrophages. It may have a therapeutic potential for the treatment of various inflammatory diseases.

        대학생의 감각 처리 유형과 스트레스 반응과의 상관관계

        본 연구는 대학생의 감각 처리 유형과 스트레스 반응과의 관련성을 분석하였다. 경기도 및 충청도 지역의 대학생 99명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 내용은 청소년/성인 감각 프로파일과 스트레스 반응 척도로 구성하였다. 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 기술통계와 Pearson 상관분석을 하였다. 연구 결과 감각 처리 유형 중 저-등록과 감각 민감은 스트레스 반응의 공격성을 제외하고 모두 상관관계가 나타났으며, 감각 회피는 스트레스 반응의 모든 영역에서 상관관계가 나타났다. 감각 회피 유형은 스트레스 반응의 모든 영역과 관련이 없었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 감각 처리 유형과 스트레스의 관련성을 고려하여 대학생의 스트레스 대처를 위한 자기조절 전략 개발에 다른 치료와 융합을 할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. This study analyzed the correlation between sensory processing types and stress responses in university students. A survey was conducted on 99 university students in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheong-do. The survey contents consisted of Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile and Stress Response Inventory. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 21.0 for descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation. As a result of the study, low-registration and sensory sensitivity were all correlated except for aggression of stress response, and sensory avoiding was all correlated of stress response. Sensory seeking was net related to any domain of stress response. Based on the results of this study, taking into account the correlation between sensory processing types and stress responses, it is recommended for convergence with other treatments to develop self-regulation strategies for coping with stress in university students.
