무선 센서 네트워크를 이용한 항만 터미널내 컨테이너 위치결정 방식에 관한 연구

RFID/USN을 적용한 항만 컨테이너 터미널의 효과적인 운영에 관한 방안이 모색되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 각 컨테이너에 무선 센서 노드가 하나씩 배치되어 있다는 가정하에 각 노드가 인접노드로부터 오는 전파의 세기 (RSSI: Received Signal Strength Indicator)값을 측정하여 서버로 전송하면 이를 근거로 항만 컨테이너 야적장(장치장)내에 적재된 컨테이너의 위치를 실시간으로 확인하는 방안을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 RSSI값에 근거한 컨테이너 위치 결정 알고리즘을 제안하고 성능을 분석한 후 응용 프로그램으로 구현하여 컨테이너별 위치확인이 가능함을 확인하였다. There are some trials to adopt the RFID/USN technologies at container terminals for effective terminal operations. In this paper, we propose a realtime location recognition method for stacked containers under the assumption that each container has a wireless sensor node to measure the RSSI values from neighbor nodes. We develope an RSSI based location algorithm with performance evaluations by RSSI measurement and application program implementation.

Objectives Two conflicting readings of "Donguisusebowon" so far have been presented that Sasang Constitutional Medicine inherited the traditional Five Elements theory and that it was a new perspective on its own right. The main purpose of this paper is to review the theoretical ground of Sasang Constitutional Medicine to see whether it has inherited the Traditional Korean Medicine, and show that it had been developed as an original view independent of the Five Elements theory. Methods To do this, I inquired into the theoretical background of Sasang Constitutional Medicine as well as its philosophical premises and its leading ideas. Results and Conclusions As a result, I have found that Sasang Constitutional Medicine is an original medical theory developed in empirical terms on its own right, divorced from the transcendental view of the Five Elements theory, while borrowing some concepts from I-Ching and Neo-Confucianism only for technical tools. In short, Sasang Constitutional Medicine may well be put as calling for a reappraisal of the Han-medical and Confucian accounts of human being, and a transition from speculative method based on the Five Elements theory to a verifiable empirical method. In this vein, my reading of Sasang Constitutional Medicine in empirical perspective may well be appraised as presenting a new way to further inquiries into the theoretical nature of it, and to getting itself across with Western medicine as well.

이동단말의 로밍에 따른 VoIP 서비스 품질 분석

본 연구에서는 음성 및 데이터 단말의 로밍이 VoIP 호의 품질에 미치는 영향을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 분석하였다. MIPv4와 MIPv6에 상관없이 최대 용량의 VoIP 호가 진행중인 상태에서 한 단말의 로밍이 시작되면 무선구간 다운링크에서 재전송이 증가하게 되어 모든 VoIP 호의 품질이 급격히 최저수준으로 저하되었다. 또한 로밍해서 진입하게 된 셀에서도 최대용량의 호가 진행중인 경우에는 모든 호의 품질이 급격히 저하되므로 로밍서비스를 하는 경우에는 일종의 호수락 제어의 필요성이 제기된다. 데이터 트래픽의 경우에 로밍해서 들어가는 쪽의 품질이 더 많이 저하되었다. In this paper we evaluated by simulation the effect of VoIP roaming and data traffic roaming on other VoIP calls. Regardless of MIPv4 or MIPv6, the quality of voice of all VoIP calls falls down quickly to the bottom level after the start of roaming by one voice terminal. That was caused by the excessive retransmission on downlink. Thus it seems that we need a kind of call admission control when we adopt the roaming service on VoIP calls. Data traffic degrades also the voice quality especially at the foreign agent side.

통신환경이 WiFi를 이용한 VoIP 서비스 용량에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 WiFi 무선망을 통한 VoIP 서비스의 품질에 영향을 주는 요소들을 분석하였다. VoIP 품질에 영향을 주는 요소로는 VoIP 통화의 수, WiFi 구간의 비음성 트래픽, 백본망내의 패킷 손실율과 단대단 지연등이 있다. WiFi 구간내 비음성 트래픽이 없으며 백본망의 패킷 손실율이 4%이고 단대단 지연이 90msec인 경우 G.729a 코덱으로는 12통화가 가능하며 G.729a VAD 코덱으로는 27통화까지 서비스 가능하였다. 분석결과 WiFi 구간의 데이터 트래픽과 TCP/IP망내 지연 및 패킷 손실율이 통화품질에 많은 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 확인되었으며 양질의 통화를 제공하기 위해서는 단대단 지연과 패킷 손실율을 최소한으로 유지하는 것 외에도 AP내에서 일종의 VoIP 호 접속 제어를 할 필요가 있는 것으로 판단된다. In this paper, we studied several aspects that affect the quality of VoIP using WiFi network. It's clear that the background data traffic within an AP, the end-to-end delay and the traffic loss of TCP/IP network gives serious effects on the voice quality. A kind of access control for the VoIP connection within an AP should be done for the acceptable voice quality.

IEEE802.11b WiFi 환경에서 음성코딩 방식에 따른 VoIP 용량분석

본 연구에서는 WiFi 망을 통한 VoIP 용량을 OPNET 모델러를 이용하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 하나의 AP내에서 VoIP 호의 수가 일정수를 넘어가면 전체 호에서 급격한 통화 품질저하가 일어나며 그 원인은 AP내 다운링크의 큐잉지연으로 분석되었다. IEEE802.11b환경에서 품질을 유지 (MOS > 2.5)하면서 수용가능한 호의 수는 G.711, G.729a, G.729a VAD 방식의 코덱을 사용할 경우 각각 5, 12, 27개인 것으로 분석되었다. In this paper we simulate the capacity of VOIP calls through WiFi network by computer simulations using OPNET modeler. The results show that sudden quality degradations occur on all VoIP calls when the number of call of an AP(Access Point) increases beyond a specific value. The reason of the quality degradation was turned out to be the queueing delay at the down link of AP. Under the IEEE 802.11b environments, the maximum number of VoIP calls of an AP maintaining the required voice quality (MOS > 2.5), was evaluated as 5, 12, and 27 when we use G.711, G.729a, and G.729a VAD codec, respectively.

In writing Mengja Yoyi Dasan scanned through the past Commentaries, absorbing major points from them and attempted to reformulate the basic ideals of Confucianism beyond the traditional Neo-Confucian interpretations of the Chinese Classics. The main purpose of this paper is to inquire into some characteristics of Dasan`s view of human nature expounded in his Mengja Yoyi. To do this I investigated the characteristics of Dasan`s commentaries on the Chinese Classics and his understanding of human beings, specifically based on his view on human nature. Some conclusions drawn from my discussions are as follows : Firstly, Dasan grasped human nature as given by Heaven, and thus that they are ultimately one and the same. Therefore, since the root of human nature lies in Song (性) endowed by Heaven-Ordain, it is impossible for men to understand human nature without subjective awareness of Heaven-Ordain that underlies Tao-Mind(道心). And since it is part of human natural disposition to like Good and shame for Evil, to train himself and long for Tao, we may see that the very Song as a natural preference in Tao-Mind serves as the ground for human potentiality of becoming moral and ethical. Secondly, Dasan grasped that human nature as the potentiality of becoming good, and that human judgement between good and evil lies in the subjectivity of human being, and thus ascribing the authority of judgement to human being himself. This implies that Dasan attributed the moral and ethical responsibility to human being himself. Finally, Dasan found that what enables men to perform good acts is preference in mind, and that human virtues are also obtained as the consequences of the practice of good acts. To interpret of human nature in terms of practical ethics reveals that human beings are worthwhile to subsist only through ethical practice of good nature. The ultimate purpose of Dasan`s Mengja Yoyi was to investigate the core of Mencius`s theory of human nature. In this context, the significance of Dasan`s theory of human nature lies in the fact that it comprehended both Mencius`s and Confucius`s theories of human nature to resurrect the spirit of practical ethics underlying them.

무선 센서 네트워크 테스트 베드 구축

본 논문은 무선센서 네트워크의 테스트 베드 구축에 관한 것이다. 웹 인터페이스를 갖는 센서 네트워크 게 이트웨이를 개발하고 센서노드 탑재용으로 수집 소스 데이터의 전송과 게이트웨이로 부터의 명령을 멀티 홉 루트로 전송이 가능한 기존의 Surge 프로그램을 개선하여 한번에 전송할 수 있는 데이터의 크기를 증가시키고 전송경로를 수집토록 개선하였다. 개발된 테스트 베드를 통하여 센서필드내 데이터의 수집과 특정 센서노드로의 명령전달이 가 능하며 토폴로지 뷰어를 통하여 특정 센서노드로 부터 싱크까지의 데이터 전송경로와 센서노드간 상대적인 위치파악 도 가능하다. 마지막으로 본 테스트베드를 활용한 원격 로봇 제어에 관하여 기술하였다. In this paper, we describe the implementation of an wireless sensor network testbed. We developed a web-based sensor network gateway and enhanced the Surge program which is used for sending and routing of packets in the sensor field. The developed program can transmit the source data of sensor nodes to the sink node via multi-hop routing, and deliver user commands to actuate sensor related equipments. Moreover, in this testbed, the data transport path from a node to the sink can be monitored. Thus we can approximate the network topology and the relative positions of sensor nodes. We also describe an application of the testbed that is used for controlling a remote robot.
