        소나무를 모티브로 한 헤어아트 연구

        채선숙 ( Seon-sook Chae ) 한국미용예술경영학회 2007 미용예술경영연구 Vol.1 No.2

Nature can be a great contribution in Art. This creates an emotional impact and peace in spirit to human being. 'Hair Art' is a follow-up study based on the various artistic point of view. There has been various works of 'Hair Art' with nature materials. However, it is rare to see a work of 'Hair Art' with the pine. That's why I've decided to study more about this. It is a new experiment in 'Hair Art' against a conventional idea " Hair Art values practicability." Therefore, the primary goal of this study is to do much for the cause of learning in 'Hair Art' and encourage some development of 'Hair Art' industry. I've researched an image of a pine tree in art of Joseon Dynasty and contemporary art. Then I've tried to apply it to a work of 'Hair Art'. First of all, to express the Oriental thought of 'integrity and fidelity' symbolically, the artists in Joseon Dynasty used to draw a picture of a pine tree with a paintbrush but the modem artists make a new attempt from the thought of Modernism. We can find it in some photos. Next, to express traditional Oriental idea such as 'unconventional and elegance', contemporary artist's choose a pine tree as an object of their works like pen and ink sketches, from the thought of Modernism. Thirdly, in a fusion style picture which contains features of both Oriental paintings and Western paintings and in a sexualism style picture that depicts a harmony of a male and a female as a shape of a pine, we can find colorful images of a pine tree and it's figurative beauty in art. In conclusion, the implication of the pine tree still hasn't changed even there are differences of drawings of pine tree in the past and the present. I've tried to combine this idea with 'Hair Art' and made 5 hair styles. Throughout the process of researching this topic 'The Study of Hair Art Using The Pine', I've realized that pine trees make it possible to express intrinsic tough spirit of human being, abundance in color and figurative beauty in art. I hope that this can be a contribution to the field of 'Hair Art' and would become an important educational resource for further study.

조선시대 회화에 나타난 소나무 이미지를 응용한 헤어아트 작품제작

채선숙 ( Seon Sook Chae ),김성남 ( Sung Nam Kim ) 한국미용학회 2010 한국미용학회지 Vol.16 No.3

This study analyzed the symbolism of pine trees shown in the Chosun Dynasty paintings and created a piece of hair art with application of the images of them. This is a subsequent study on hair art which has started from a variety of artistic views. The purpose of this study is to propose the direction of the next-generation beauty industry and education by quenching artistic thirst and consolidating the foundation of beauty and artistic field for a piece of hair art created from the opposite point of view against a technical one saying “a hair style should be of practical use”. From five pieces of painting to which the image of pine tree is applied, the following findings were obtained. First, the representation of the pine trees in the Chosun Dynasty paintings connotes psychological and inner meanings by brushing and painting. Second, fidelity, integrity, unworldliness and Poong-Ryu (a noble way of life of Korean leisured class) were represented by the image of pine tree harmonized with Korean physical beauty and profound and mysterious lines. Third, a warm, emotional image keeping purity and beauty heart based on human inner beauty through nature is instilled in a piece of hair art by expressing it in plastic arts using pine tree. It was found that although the representation techniques are different between the paintings of the old days nd of today, an inner meaning of the potential value of pine tree which expresses fidelity, integrity, longevity, unworldliness, Poong-Ryu, and yin and yang is in common.

        최소영 ( So-young Choi ),채선숙 ( Seon-sook Chae ) 한국미용예술경영학회 2010 미용예술경영연구 Vol.4 No.1

Each country has the breathing and traditional patterns, and they display traditional style and grace. Korea also can find out history and ancestors' minds through traditional patterns. We can understand traditional symbolic value and meaning. To acknowledge beauty of sense in hair design industry, Korean hair designers have to imply universal concept of beauty. 여드름 관리 후 나타나는 붉은 자국에 세라마이드 에멀전 도포

        채은희 ( Eun-hee Chae ),채선숙 ( Seon-sook Chae ) 한국미용예술경영학회 2008 미용예술경영연구 Vol.2 No.2

Ceramide, a special kind of sphingolipid, is an important component of the stratum comeum, the outermost layer of the skin. It forms and maintains the lipid barrier, that is, it plays a central role in the moisture retention capability of the skin. In addition, its existence in the stratum comeum prevents moisture loss through the skin and blocks the invasion of harmful elements or bacteria. Acne is a quite general skin disease; everyone suffers from pimples at least once. Acne occurs mainly on the face and can leave scars, that exert influence not only while the acne is present, but also after recovery. There are about four types of sequela. The most common sequela is the redness on the face, the next is brown or dark-brown pigmentation, and the third is acne scar, which might be the most severe. Others include keloid, where the skin swells and becomes red. These sequelae of acne can be broadly categorized into ‘acne marks’ and ‘acne scars’. Xeroderma can also occur due to excessive sebum control in the course of acne treatment. In this study, an emulsion product was made of a chemically-synthesized quasi-ceramide, which has similar structure and lipid barrier function. This emulsion product was used in a six-week clinical experiment on the significance of skin improvement, to men and women in their twenties who had gotten red acne marks after acne treatment. The results showed that the skin moisturizing effect and the improvement of skin tone were notable, indicating the moisturizing power of ceramide and the fact that higher level of moisturization improves skin tone. In addition, the area of flush decreased considerably, which tells us that ceramide is valuable as a skin regeneration ingredient for red acne marks.
