한반도 동백나무(Camellia japonica)림에 대한 군락분류

본 연구는 1999년 5월부터 2003년 2월까지 현지조사 또는 문헌조사에 의하여 한반도 동백나무 분포대에서 263개의 방형구를 설정하였다. 이를 기초로 하여 식생단위를 추출하기 위해서 종조성표와 종합상재도표(Table 1)를 작성하였다 본 연구에서 한반도의 상록활엽수림은 동백나무를 중심으로 9개의 군집(群集)을 설정할 수 있다. 즉 동백나무전형군집, 동백나무-후박나무군집, 동백나무-곰솔군집, 동백나무-구실잣밤나무군집, 동백나무-까마귀쪽나무군집, 동백나무-모밀잣밤나무군집, 동백나무-붉가시나무군집, 동백나무-참식나무군집, 동백나무-생달나무군집으로 정의되었다. The Camellia japonica vegetation in the Korean Peninsula was investigated by the methology of the Z-M school. The synthesis table of Camellion japonicae were arranged for association classification from 263 quadrats. The vegetation of Camellia japonica forest, classfied as an alliance includes nine new associations : Camellietum japonicae typicum Jin et Kim 2005, Machilo thunbergii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Pino thunbergii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Castanopo cuspidatae var. sieboldii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Lito japonicae-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Castnnopo cuspidatae var. thunbergii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Querco acutae-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Neolito sericae-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Cinnamomo japonicae-Camellietum Japonirae Jin et Kim 2005.

Generally, the design capacity of the rainwater harvesting unit is determined by trial and error method that is repeatedly calculating various analysis scenarios with capacity, reliability, and rainwater utilization ratio, etc. This method not only takes a lot of time to analyze but also involves a lot of calculations, so analysis errors may occur. In order to solve the problem, this study suggested a way to directly determine the minimum capacity to meet arbitrary target reliabilities using the global optimization method. The method was implemented by simulation model with particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithms using Python language. The pyswarm that is provided as an open-source of python was used as optimization method, that can explore global optimum, and consider constraints. In this study, the developed program was applied to the design data for the rainwater harvesting constructed in Cheongna district 1 in Incheon to verify the efficiency, stability, and accuracy of the analysis. The method of determining the capacity of the rainwater harvesting presented in this study is considered to be of practical value because it can improve the current level of analytical technology.
다목적댐의 가뭄 대비 용수공급 조정기준과 혼합 정수계획법에 의한 용수 감량 공급 기준의 비교 및 분석

The authors obtained the discrete hedging rule for a reservoir's water supply operation by applying mixed-integer programming to save more water by earlier rationing of water supply for a drought period. The 'water supply adjustment guide' is the current operational method applied to the multipurpose reservoirs, and it was derived by a simulation method. Applying the two rules to the Hapcheon multipurpose dam's reservoir simulations with the inflow record from 2003 to 2018, the water supply deficit occurred for the long drought from 2015 to 2018. Especially, the no water supply or intermittent water supply persisted for the second half of 2017. The water supply adjustment guide had the 'normal water supply recovery threshold on storage,' which resulted in the water supply being unavailable in July 2017; then, the water supply suspension occurred until January 2018, when the reservoir storage was greater than the normal water supply recovery threshold. Despite the storage increasing due to the inflow of water into the reservoir, the suspension occurrence needs to be improved in practice. The current water supply adjustment guide and the discrete hedging rule for a reservoir's water supply operation are useful and realistic as the reservoir operation guide, which shows the concept of reducing water supply during the drought phase as scientific figures. However, to improve the reservoir simulation results, which do not provide any or intermittent water for several months, it is necessary to increase the current water supply reduction for drought phases.

The present study investigated experimentally the effect of electric fields on the characteristics of flame spread over electric-wire with AC fields. Flame spread rates were examined with polyethylene-insulated wires according to the frequency and amplitude of applied AC electric field. The flame spread can be characterized into two; a linear flame spread and a non-linearly accelerated flame spread. This is caused by the axial strength distribution of imposed electric field according to applied AC electric field. The flame spread rate is highly relevant to the inclined direction of wire fire. These can be explained by thermal balance mechanism in detail.
혼합정수계획법을 이용한 현 저수량 기준의 가뭄 대응 용수 감량공급 기준곡선의 결정 및 저수지 운영

이산화 용수 감량공급 기법은 가뭄에 대비하기 위한 저수지 운영 기법 중 하나로서, 용수 공급량을 몇 단계로 나누어 선제적으로 감량한다. 본 연구의 목적은 이산화 용수 감량공급 기법을 이용하여 현재 저수량을 기준으로 한 용수 감량공급 기준곡선을 결정하고, 이를 이용한 저수지모의 운영 결과를 과거 합천댐의 운영 기록과 비교하는 것이다. 합천댐의 용수 감량공급 현저수량 기준곡선은 1990년부터 2005년까지의 유입량 자료를 활용하여 혼합정수계획법으로 결정하였다. 2006년부터 2010년까지의 합천댐 유입량 자료에 용수 감량공급 현 저수량 기준곡선을 적용하여 합천댐을 모의 운영한 결과, 과거 합천댐 운영 기록에 비하여 최소 물 공급량은 2.9 배 컸으며, 최대 용수 공급 부족량은 37 % 작은 결과를 보였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 가뭄을 대비하기 위한 저수지 운영 방안 유도 및 적용에 유용한 것으로 판단된다. The discrete hedging rule which runs through several hedging phases can be effective method for water supply operation from a reservoir during droughts period. This study aims to develop a discrete hedging rule depending on current storage. Mixed integer programming was used to determine hedging rule curves of Hapcheon Dam, using the inflow data from 1990 to 2005. Then, derived hedging rule with inflow records from 2006 to 2010 was applied to simulate the reservoir operation. The results show that the simulated minimum water supply has been increased by 2.9 times in contrast with the observed data. In addition, the simulated maximum water supply shortage was reduced by 37 % as compared to available historical records. Based from the outcome of the study, it can be suggested that the discrete hedging rule depending on current storage is certainly worth in practical reservoir water supply operation to cope with droughts.
