Recently, the underground reinforced concrete(RC) box structures have been increasingly built in Korea. In such structures, the heat of hydration may cause serious crackings in wall member. Thus, the RC box structures needs much attention to control the hydration heat during construction. The purpose of the present study is to analyse temperature and thermal stress of base-restrained wall member which had been made in field. The time-dependent behaviors of early age concrete including temperature and thermal stress are analyzed through experimental results.
