Generally, the turbine control system of a power plant is a Duplex or TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) platform, but no control platforms support all of the Single, Duplex and TMR control modes. The IMCS (Integrated Monitoring & Control system) platform of this paper is developed to support not only all of the Single, Duplex and TMR control modes but IEC 61131-3 standard as well, and includes user-defined function blocks for unique turbine control. The turbine control system based on the IMCS platform consists of four parts and the operator environment with HMI, each part is designed to improve availability and reliability - TMR control (TMR mode), common control (Duplex mode), turbine status monitoring (Duplex mode), and protection (TMR mode), and support functions for speed and load control, protection, power system synchronization, diagnostics, etc. In 2012, we will implement this system in the power plant after validation, verification, simulation, and test are performed.
사과 S-allele 특이적 마커를 활용한 배와 사과 속간교잡종의 속간교잡여부 검정

다양한 수입과일이 연중 출하됨에 따라 소비자들이 과일을 선택하는 폭이 넓어지고 있으며 이에 따라 배 소비 제고를 위해서는 기존품종과 차별화된 품종 개발이 요구되고 있다. 배의 교배조합 작성시 형질이 비슷한 교배 양친의 중복사용은 유전적 다양성을 감소시키고 근교약세를 발생시키기도한다. 따라서 상대적으로 유전적 거리가 먼 종(species)이나 속(genus)간교배를 통해 다양성을 고도화한 품종을 선발하고자 하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사과의 과실특성(적색과피, 과피 왁스층, 향기, 식감)을 배에 발현시키기 위해 배와 사과 간에 속간교배를 수행하였다. 중생종 배 품종 ‘황금배’에 고당도 사과품종 ‘홍로’를 교배하여 획득한 26개체, ‘쓰가루’에 ‘추황배’를 교배한 ‘TC5-1-5’, ‘TC12-24’에 ‘홍로’를 각각 교배하여 획득한 8개체를 이용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 총 34 F₁ 개체의 속간교잡 여부를 확인하기 위해 각 실생의 DNA를 추출한 후 ‘홍로’의 S-genotype인 S₁, S₃ 특이적 마커를 적용하여 검정하였다. 그 결과 ‘황금배’ × ‘홍로’ 집단 중 ‘5-8-6’ 등 2개체, ‘TC5-1-5’ × ‘홍로’ 집단에서는 ‘5-9-99’등 3개체, ‘TC-12-2-4’ × ‘홍로’ 집단에서는 ‘5-9-104’ 등 4개체에서 속간교잡이 확인되었다. 본 시험을 통해 배․ 사과 속간교잡 개체 9계통을 선발하였으며 재배, 과실특성은 배 형질에 가까운 모습을 보였다. 추후 면밀한 조사를 통해 육종재료로서 이용성을 평가할 예정이다.

“CenSall” is a cultivar that can be easily consumed due to its thin fruit skin and small core. “Whangkeumbae” and “Minibae” were crossed in 1999 to breed this pear cultivar. After the first selection in 2010, regional adaptation tests were conducted in five regions (Suwon, Chuncheon, Jinju, Yecheon, and Naju) from 2011 to 2017. The selected tree exhibited a vigorous spreading form and white flowers. “CenSall” contains 165 mg of pollen per 100 flowers; therefore, it can be used as a pollinator. However, it is sensitive to scabs, and thus, cultivation management to control scab is necessary. “CenSall,” harvested in early August, had a fruit weight of 336.3 g and soluble solid contents of 10.2 °Brix, hardness of 2.4 kg⋅8 mmØ-1, and the fruit skin color was yellowish green. The fruit has many edible portions, accounting for 94.5% of the entire flesh. Notably, only 22.7% of the seeds developed normally but fruited stably. The thickness of the hypodermis was 62.57 μm, which was half the thickness of the main cultivar “Niitaka” (113.49 μm). The cuticle developed without a cork layer, fruit skin was smooth, and it could be eaten with the peel (Registration No. 8046).

In this study, we investigated the effect of the Ce<sub>x</sub>Zr<sub>1-x</sub>O<sub>2</sub> (CZ) addition onto Ni/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> catalysts on the catalytic performance in methane steam reforming. In the reaction results, the CZ-added Ni/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> catalyst showed higher CH<sub>4</sub> conversion and H<sub>2</sub> yield under the same reaction conditions than Ni/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>. From the characterization data, the two catalysts had similar support porosity and Ni dispersion, confirming that the two properties could not determine the catalytic performance. However, the oxygen vacancy over the CZ-added Ni/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> catalyst induced an efficient steam activation at low reaction temperatures, resulting in an increase in the catalytic activity and H<sub>2</sub> yield.
저온 외기조건에서 케스케이드 급탕열펌프의 성능특성에 관한 해석적 연구

Heat pump systems have been widely adopted in buildings for cooling and heating, due to their higher energy efficiency. Recently, the demand for hot water supply from the heat pump system has been increasing. To increase the water supply temperature with higher system efficiency and reliability, a heat pump water heater adopting cascade cycle was investigated in this study. The cascade heat pump water heater consisted of a low-stage cycle using R410A, and a high-stage cycle using R134a. A simulation program for the cascade heat pump water heater was developed, and verified by comparison with experimental data. The performance of the cascade heat pump water heater was optimized, by varying the compressor rotating speeds of the low- and high-stage cycles. At low ambient temperatures, the performance of the cascade cycle was compared with that of the single-stage cycle. The system efficiency of the cascade cycle was higher than that of the single-stage cycle, showing a lower compression ratio and compressor discharge temperature.
바이패스유로 멀티사이클을 적용한 냉동시스템의 성능특성에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance characteristics of a bypass two-circuit refrigerator. A bench scale refrigeration system was designed and constructed to estimate possible performance improvement of the bypass two-circuit refrigerator. The experiments were conducted in the bench scale refrigeration system by varying capacity of the condenser and refrigerant charge amount with an adoption of a refrigerant storage vessel. The COPs of the bypass two-circuit refrigeration system in the refrigerator and freezer (RF)-mode and freezer(F) only-mode were increased by 10% and 17%, respectively, with increasing the capacity of the condenser. Besides, the COP of the system in the F only-mode was increased by 10% by adopting the refrigerant storage vessel.
직렬 사이클 및 바이패스유로 멀티사이클 적용 냉동시스템의 성능특성에 관한 실험적 연구

The object of this study is to investigate the performance characteristics of refrigerators using a serial cycle and bypass two-circuit cycle. The experiments on the serial refrigeration system were conducted by varying secondary mass flow rate through the freezer evaporator and temperature in the refrigerator evaporator. Besides, the bypass two-circuit refrigeration system was tested by varying the capacity of the evaporator in freezer(F) only-mode. Based on the experimental data, the COP of the both refrigeration systems were optimized at the brine mass flow rate of 20 ㎏/h. In addition, the COP of the serial refrigeration system decreased by 6.6% as the refrigerator temperature decreased from 5℃ to -1℃.
