This paper proposes a new track - following control method using disturbance observer with the freedom of gain and frequency adaptation in optical disk drive system. Recent ODDs use smaller track pits, higher rotation speed and broader rotational speed variations to increase the data capacity and data transfer rate. This cause the degradation of track-following performance by increasing the disturbance of the rotary system. In this paper, we discussed on a DOB structure that efficiently attenuate the disturbance without effecting the overall feedback loop characteristics on CLV type ODD which uses a higher and broader range of rotational speed. DOB structure uses two band pass filter. We analyzed the track-following performance sensitivity on rotational frequency variance and gain changes. This analysis is done on a computer simulation environment and actual ODD product.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to examine the influence of physical fitness on a nonverbal intelligence score and cortical networking. Methods: Participants were twenty four high-fit and twenty one low-fit middle school students. K-CTONI-2 was used to measure nonverbal intelligence less influenced by educational experience and verbal ability. Cortical activation at F3, F4, C3, C4, P3, P4, T3, T4, O1, and O2 has been recorded during intelligence test. Inter-hemispheric and intra-hemispheric coherences were calculated to examine cortico-cortical communication. Results: As the behavioral results, nonverbal intelligence score and accuracy were not significant different according to physical fitness. The result of coherence revealed that coherence at right hemisphere which is related to visual-spatial processing was higher in high-fit but coherence at left hemisphere related to verbal-analytic processing was higher in low-fit group. Conclusion: The results imply the greater neural efficiency during intelligence test in high-fit relative to low-fit group.

The home-based people with stroke are limited in their daily life, so they are limited not only in their social but also in personal relation which is their basic area of human life due to the pathological characteristics. As a result, they often suffer secondary disabilities and other diseases. For this reason, various studies have been tried to develop physical activity programs for the home-based people with stroke. Even if a consistent evaluation standard and program envision based on the consistent evaluation criteria must be considered in order for the physical activity program for the disabled to make greater effects, the academic basis and utilization in Korea does not derive enough results. The purpose of this study was to develop a family participatory physical activity program for The home-based people with stroke based on the health status evaluation and needs of the disabled. The results of the study were summarized as follows. First, the physical activity for the improvement of daily living ability of the home-based people with stroke was structured based on the evaluation criteria of WHODAS-II. Second, physical activity for improvement of daily living ability of the home-based people with stroke was structured according to the Ⅱ. Movement and V. Daily Living of WHODAS-II. Third, the physical activity program to improve the daily living ability of The home-based people with stroke was divided into the Movement ability, the Balance ability, and the Control ability that could be performed over 3 months and 12 weeks.

A methodical study on the sound quality improvement for a sports coupe is discussed in this paper. First, various benchmarking test and sporty sound sample synthesis have been conducted for a target sound. Then the minimization of a structure-borne sound and the maximization of a powerful air-bone sound is tried with booming noise reduction, intake sound generator tuning and exhaust tuning. Finally, this methodology is applied to the newly released sports coupe.
