        헤어 미용사들의 감정노동이 직무소진과 이직의도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to understand how emotional labor of hairdresser effects job burnout and turnover intention. In order to achieve this study, the data is collected from questionnaires distributed to employees of beauty shops of Gwangju and Jeonam using convenience sampling method. A total of 356 questionnaires were used for the research. Survey data is analyzed by SPSS win 21.0 program. The research findings are as follows. First, the emotional labor of hairdresser is classified by the surface action and deep action. Also, job burnout of hairdresser is classified by the emotional exhaustion, reduced personal accomplishment and depersonalization. Second, the effect of emotional labor of hairdressers on job burnout have the significant influence. Third, the effect of emotional labor of hairdressers on turnover intention have the significant influence. Fourth, the effect of job burnout of hairdressers on turnover intention have the significant influence. These results suggest that programs to lower emotional labor should be focused on developments to improve the quality of beauty services

        여성노인의 외모관심이 외모관리행동과 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

        This study investigated the effects of interest in appearance on self-esteem and appearance management behavior among elderly women, and the results found the following: First, interest in appearance had a positive influence on appearance management behavior. Second, interest in appearance revealed a positive effect on self-esteem. Third, appearance management behavior showed a positive influence on self-esteem. Fourth, appearance management behavior revealed a mediating effect in a relationship between interest in appearance and self-esteem. The results show that it is necessary to increase elderly women’s self-esteem by developing diverse appearance change programs which meet their interest in appearance to facilitate a healthy life in later years. This study aimed to provide basic data needed to develop a cosmetology program which can improve the quality of elderly women’s lives after analyzing their interest in appearance.

        뷰티 전공 대학생들의 학업적 성취목표지향성이 전공만족에 미치는 영향 관계에서 의사소통능력의 매개효과

        The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of academic achievement goal orientation and communication competence on the major satisfaction of college students with a major in beauty. The results of the final analysis of the results of a survey 241 college students majoring in beauty in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gwangju are as follows. First, learners' academic achievement goal orientation showed a statistically significant positive (+) effect on communication competence. Second, learners' communication competence had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on major satisfaction. Third, learners' achievement goal orientation had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on major satisfaction. Fourth, regarding in the effect of mastery approach goals on major satisfaction, communication competence showed a mediating effect. According to the research results, in order to increase the level of major satisfaction of college students with a major in beauty, as well as academic achievement goal orientation, which is what students attempt to achieve through learning and the expected result, development of methods for teaching and learning and use of teaching methods with effective communication competence will be necessary so that students can engage in major learning with interest in their major subjects.

        미용실의 서비스 품질과 고객의 감정적 반응, 추천의도 및 이탈의도의 관계

        This study was conducted for the purpose of identifying the correlations among beauty shop`s service quality and emotional response, recommendation intention and defection intention of customers. The subject of the research consisted of beauty shop`s customers and data collection was conducted through convenience sampling. The collected data was processed using SPSS 17.0 programs and subject to the t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study are described below. First, the beauty shop`s service quality was classified by the tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, certainty and empathy quality. Also, emotional response was classified by the positive and negative emotion. Second, according to the analysis on the effects of beauty shop`s service quality on emotional responses, significantly effects were found in tangibles, certainty and empathy factors. Third, in terms of the effects of the positive emotional response of beauty shop`s customer on the customer recommendation intention, significantly positive effects were observed, while the negative emotional response of beauty shop`s customer had a negative impact on the customer recommendation intention. Fourth, in terms of the effects of the negative emotional response of beauty shop`s customer on the defection recommendation intention, significantly positive effects were observed. Fifth, there were partially differences in the beauty shop`s service quality and customer emotional responses by general characteristics. Finally, there were significant differences in the beauty shop`s customer recommendation intention by job and the beauty shop``s customer defection intention by age and monthly income.

        미용실의 관계혜택이 고객만족 및 고객충성도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of relationship benefits on customer satisfaction, customer recommendation and defection intentions at the beauty salons. Participants of this study were 299 in accordance to convenience sampling. SPSS 15.0 was employed for Pearson correlation coefficient, calculation for cronbach`s α, exploratory factor analysis, regression analysis. Also, AMOS 7.0 was employed for confirmative factor analysis and path analysis. The research results may be summarized as follows. First, confidence benefits and special treatment benefits in relationship benefits were found to be statistically significant to customer satisfaction, especially confidence benefits as the more influential determinant affecting customer satisfaction. But social benefits were not found to be statistically significant to customer satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction was found to influence customer recommendation and defection intentions. Finally, it was founded that customer satisfaction mediated the relationship between relationship benefits and customer recommendation and defection intentions.

        1인 미용실의 관계혜택이 고객충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 고객신뢰의 매개효과

        This study proposes an effective marketing plan for individually owned and operated beauty salons by investigating the effects of its relational benefits on customer trust and loyalty during the current fierce market competition. A study was conducted with 322 independent beauty salon customers in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Daejeon and Chungcheong-do, and Gwangju and Jeolla-do. In terms of data analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and correlation analysis were conducted using SPSS 15.0 and Amos 18. A path analysis was performed using a structural equation model for hypothesis testing. The study results found the following: First, according to the analysis on the effects of relational benefits perceived by the independent beauty salon customers on customer trust, significantly positive effects were found i n three sub-factors (confirmatory, social and special benefits). Second, in terms of the effects of the relational benefits on customer loyalty, significantly positive effects were observed in confirmatory and special benefits. Third, in terms of the effects of customer trust on customer loyalty, a significantly positive effect was found in trust. Fourth, in terms of the relationship between relational benefits and customer loyalty, a partial mediating effect was found in trust.

        수용액에서 활성화 에너지를 이용한 모발 손상 척도 개발

        This study was undertaken to analyze the degree of hair damage after measuring activation energy from hair protein isotherm by Lowry method. The virgin hair were dyed and dried naturally and the cuticles were observed with scanning electron microscope (SEM) image to examine the hair damage. The SEM image showed the overlapped scale of cuticle and regular and distinct borders of scale in the virgin hair, but showed the loose, shifted, and shed scale of the cuticle in the hair dyeing. To evaluate the morphological damage of the virgin and dyeing hair observed with SEM image, the level of damage were classified into 5 levels, and evaluated by ten instructors of hairdressing. There were significant differences in hair damage. The hair damage of the dyeing hair (3.50±0.53) was higher than that of the virgin hair (1.60±0.52), but the tensile strength of the virgin hair (148.3±3.16 g) was higher than that of the dyeing hair (132.3±2.62 g) (p<0.05). The protein loss according to time sequence was analyzed quantitatively by the Lowry method after immersion in aqueous solution at 298K, 313K, and 343K, respectively. The protein loss was increased as time passed and increased with temperature elevation in aqueous solution. The amount of the protein loss was more in the dyeing hair than the virgin hair. On the contrary, the estimated activation energy values for protein loss was opposite, the activation energy of the virgin hair (74.9±3.66kJ/mol) was higher than that of the dyeing hair (55.5±3.40 kJ/mol) (p<0.05). In conclusion, it is suggested that the activation energy from hair protein isotherm can be highly useful as degree of hair damage.
