        부분 장골과 장요추 인대를 포함한 요추 천추골의 유한 요소 모델링 및 비선형 해석

        Owing to needs of biomechanical comprehension and analysis to obtain various medical treatment designs which are related with the spine in order to cure and diagnose LBP patients, the FE modeling and nonlinear analysis of lumbosacrum including a partial ilium and iliolumbar ligaments, were carried out. First, we investigated whether the geometrical configuration of vertebrae displayed by DICOM slice files is regular and normal condition. After constructing spinal vertebrae including a partial ilium, a sacrum and five lumbars (from L1 to L5)with anatomical shape reconstructed using softwares such as image modeler and CAD modeler, we added iliolumbar ligaments, lumbar ligaments, discs and facet joints, etc.. And also, we assigned material property and discretized the model using proper finite element types, thus it was completely modeled through the above procedure. For the verification of each segment, average sagittal ROM, average coronal ROM and average transversal ROM under various loading conditions(${\pm}10Nm$), average vertical displacement under compression(400N), ALL(Anterior Longitudinal Ligament) and PLL(Posterior Longitudinal Ligament) force at L12 level, strains of seven ligaments on sagittal plane at L45 level and maximal strain of disc fibers according to various loading conditions at L45 level, etc., they were compared with experimental results. For the verification of multilevel-lumbosacrum spine including partial ilium and iliolumbar ligaments, the cases with and without iliolumbar ligaments were compared with ROM of experiment. The results were obtained from analysis of the verified FE model as follows: I) Iliolumbar ligaments played a stabilizing role as mainly posterior iliolumbar ligaments under flexion and as both posterior and anterior iliolumbar ligaments of one side under lateral bending. 2) The iliolumbar ligaments decreased total ROM of 1-8% in total model according to various motion conditions, which changed facet contact forces of L5S level by approximately 0.8-1.4 times and disc forces of L5S level by approximately 0.8-1.5 times more than casewithout ilioligaments, under various loading conditions. 3) The force of lower discs such as L45 and L5S was bigger than upper discs under flexion, left and right bending and left and right twisting, except extension. 4) It was predicted that strains of posterior ligaments among iliolumbar ligaments would produce the maximum 16% under flexion and the maximum 10% under twisting. 5) It's expected that this present model applies to the development and design of artificial disc, since it was comparatively in agreement with the experimental datum.

        여과매체용 (FeNiCr)_80P_20 비정질 합금의 자기적 특성과 내식성

        With the object of developing a ferromagnetic filtering media used in electromagnetic filtering process of iron & steel industries, addition effects of Cr and Ni on magnetic properties and corrosion resistance for Fe_80P_20 amorphous ribbon alloy have been investigated. In (FeCr)_80P_20 ternary alloys, the soft magnetic properties and corrosion resistance were largely enhanced upon Cr addition of about 5 at%, although considerable decrease in saturation magnetization occurred. However the corrosion rate was thought to be still high for practical use. If the Fe was substituted by some Ni to form a quarternary Fe-Ni-Cr-P alloys, decrease of the saturation magnetization was strongly suppressed. Moreover the soft magnetic properties and corrosion resistance were improved to a great extent as compared to Fe_75Cr_5P_20 amorphous alloy. For Fe_75Ni_5Cr_5P_20 amorphous alloy, the values of B_10, M_s and H_c were 6.9 kG, 110 emu/g and 0.24 Oe, respectively. The corrosion rate was measured to be very low(less than 0.2 ㎜/ yr) in 5 wt% HCl solution(room temperature) and 2 wt% NaOH solution(60℃). The good soft magnetic properties and corrosion resistance of Fe_75Ni_5Cr_5P_20 amorphous alloy were attributed to the decrease in saturation magnetostriction and more active formation of CrO_X(OH)_(3-2x)·nH_2O passive films by the combined addition of Ni and Cr.

      • 돼지에서의 급성 간부전 모델 개발

        저자들의 간유입 혈류 차단 및 문맥-하대정맥 문합술을 이용한 허혈성 간부전 모델은 간부전 및 간조직의 괴사가 지속적으로 진행되고 반복성(reproducibility), 간부전으로 부터의 사망(death from hepatic failure), 긴 생존기간(therapeutic window),큰 동물(large animal)사용, 실험지의 안전성(minimum hazard to perponnel)과 같은 점들을 만족 시켜 급성 간부전의 새로은 치료방법의 개발, 병인의 연구 그리고 인공간 개발 등의 효능 측정 등에 유용하게 사용되리라 사료된다. (Background) Experimental studies on acute liver failure(ALF)are necessary to evaluate the pathogenesis or the possible methods of ameliorating this life-threatening condition,despite the fact that the animal models are not similar to human cases.In this research, the effects of total devascularization of the liver with portocaval shunt were evaluated in pigs. (Methods) Ten female pigs weighing about 30㎏ each were used.Total devascularization of the liver with end-to-side portocaval shunt was performed under general anesthesia.Blood samples were obtained serially to assay serum ammonia, aspartate aminotransferase(AST), albumin, and intracranial pressure was also performed to evaluate the progression of hepatic encephalopathy. (Results) The average survival time was 22.1±9.15(mean±SD)hours after surgery. Clinically, the pigs showed a uniform course.They became lethargic after 4-8 hours and following a period of increased drowsiness, they became comatose and died. The concentration of the amonium ion and AST in the blood increased significantly and BCAA/AAA decreased constantly, all of which were indicative of progression of hepatic failure and hepatic necrosis.Intracranial pressure progressively increased as we see in human cases of ALF.On the other hand, the level of serum albumin did not markerdly change due to its long half life. (Conclusion) The pig model for ALF is reproducible without biohazard, it causes constant death from hepatic failure, and it has a relatively long therapeutic window which allows the institution of supportive procedures to be tested.Therefore, our liver failure model is recommended to elaluate possible supportive measures against ALF.

        토양피복 접촉산화조에 충진한 접촉여재의 오염물질 제거효율에 관한 실험적 연구

        Contaminant removal performace of three different contact mediums (broken stones, plastic submerged rings, and kureharon lock) in a contact oxidation reactor of a soil absorption system was investigated in the laboratory. The objective of the experiments was to determine a practical contact medium for the reactor from the standpoint of technical and economical efficiency. Replacement of commercial microbial additives incorporating on-site compost in the soil absorption layer over the upper surface of the oxidation reactor was also evaluated as an alternative in an effort to reduce the initial investment. The results of experiment shod the BOD_5, CODcr, and SS removal efficiency of kureharon lock medium were slighly higher by 2-7% than submerged rings or broken stones, with a lower organic loading rate of 0.20 BOD_5/㎥/day. However, with a higher organic loading rate of 0.80 BOD_5/㎥/day, the lock medium performed much better by removing 15-20% more than the other two media. Nutrient (T-N, T-P) removal efficiency followed a similar pattern. With all ranges of organic loading rates, the lock medium showed a higher performance in nutrient removal by 15-25%. However, the plastic submerged ring medium did not show any improvement over broken stone medium. This result may be related to the specific area of the mediums, which provides space for microbes to live and mutiply. The kureharon lock medium is a more technically efficient contact medium for removal of organic matter and nutrient, but application volume of the medium must be optimized because it is expensive. The on-site compost did not reveal any deficiency over the commercial microbial additives in physical and biological properties of the soil absorption system. The on-site compost was higher in water holding capacity, but lows in FAS(Free Air Space) than commercial additives and microbial density of the two composts was more or less the same. The onsite compost can be a good alternative to replace the commercial products, reducing initial investment without reducing effectiveness.
