By using supercritical carbon dioxide fluid, an attempt was made to extract surface-active substances from defatted rice bran. Extraction was carried out according to D-optimal design and results were analyzed by response surface methodology to establish optimum condition. It was found that pressure, temperature and co-solvent (ethanol) influenced in a different extent on the extraction efficiency (i.e., yield and interfacial tension) of surface-active substances. Among them, co-solvent was found to be a major influencing factor, where maximum yield (2.62%) was observed at the highest content (250 g). In addition, it also affected most on the interfacial tension at the oil-water interface but in this case the lowest interfacial tension value (9.51 mN/m) was found when added lowest (50 g). In conclusion, it was estimated that the optimum extraction condition was to be pressure 350bar, temperature 62℃ and co-solvent content 50 g in this study, where extraction yield was 0.69% and interfacial tension to be 10.1 mN/m.

In this experiment, the surface-active substances were extracted from defatted rice bran and their emulsifying properties were investigated. The sample emulsions stabilized with the surface-active substances (3 fractions: 1-HS, 6- HS and 18-HS) were prepared and then their physico-chemical properties such as fat globule size, creaming stability, oil-off and dispersion stability were determined. It was found that the sample emulsion with different fraction of surface- active substances showed different physico-chemical properties from each other. Specially, 1-HS emulsion with the smallest particle size was evaluated to be superior to others in terms of higher creaming stability, low incidence of oil-off and higher dispersion stability. From the study of co-surfactant addition (Tween 20, SSL and GMS), GMS was found to be the most effective in reducing fat globule size in 1-HS emulsion. This indicated that there might be a co-operative adsorption of the two surface-active substances at the oil-water interface. Thus, the potentiality of the rice bran extracts, obtained with specific conditions, as natural surface-active substances was confirmed.

The main objective of this research is to investigate the effects of cultural capacity of Korean consumers on attitude toward Chinese culture and Chinese national image on purchase intention for Chinese products. That is, the research aims to find out whether cultural halo effect exists. Another objective is to confirm whether media exposure to Chinese culture influences the relationship between cultural capacity and attitude toward Chinese culture. The results of research find that first, among the cultural capacity factors, artistic capacity ad imagination and playfulness were to affect Chinese cultural attitude. Second, cultural attitude positively influences purchase intention for Chinese products. Third, countrymen image influences cultural attitude and product purchase intention as well. Also, overall national image mediates the relationship between cultural attitude and product purchase intention. In conclusion part, theoretical as well as practical implications are provided.
UI가 향상된 자바 메시지 전달 시스템의 설계 및 구현

최근 컴퓨터의 처리속도와 네트워크의 속도가 빠르게 발전함에 따라, 통신망으로 연결된 이기종 컴퓨터들을 이용하는 병렬 컴퓨팅에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자바 MPI스펙인 MPJ 표준에 따라 병렬 컴퓨팅 환경에서 메시지 통신 인터페이스를 제공하는 JMPI(Java Message Passing Interface) 라이브러리를 설계하고 구현하였다. 그리고 사용자 측면에서 좀 더 간단하게 병렬 컴퓨팅 환경을 조성하고 조성된 환경에서 JMPI 라이브러리로 구현된 프로그램을 편리하게 실행 시킬 수 있는 UI를 구현 하도록 하였다.
