        토픽모델링과 네트워크 분석을 활용한 리터러시 연구의 동향

        본 연구는 '리터러시'가 학술적으로 어떻게 연구되어 왔으며 어떠한 주제로 연구의경향을 보이는지를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 대상은 KCI에 등재된 리터러시 관련 연구 논문의 논문명, 초록, 키워드가 포함된 서지정보이며 수집한 서지정보를 기반으로 네트워크 분석과 토픽모델링 기법 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 리터러시 관련 연구의 흐름은 도입기, 증가기, 급증기의 세 시기로 구분할 수 있었다. 특히 2017년을 기점으로 관련 연구가 폭발적으로 증가하였다. 또 텍스트마이닝 결과리터러시와 교육, 미디어, 디지털 등의 키워드가 고빈도 키워드로 분석되었다. 토픽모델링 분석 결과 ‘대주제1(디자인 이미지와 디지털 미디어), ‘대주제2(문화 예술, 교양 정보), ‘대주제3(교육 정책, 교육 내용), ‘대주제4(디지털 사회 변화)’의 4개의 주제를 도출하였다. 이후 토픽모델링 주제를 구성하는 키워드를 기반으로 각각의 키워드에 대한 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 다양한 주제의 ‘리터러시’ 연구를 구체화하였고 리터러시 관련 연구 주제의 최신 동향 또한 확인하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine how “literacy” has been studied academically and what the research trends are. The subject of the study was bibliographic information including the academic article title, abstract, and keywords of literacy-related research articles registered in KCI(Korea citation Index). Network analysis and topic modeling techniques were applied based on the collected bibliographic information. Analysis of the results suggested that the trends in literacy-related research could be divided into three periods: the settlement period, growth period, and rapid growth period. In particular, from 2017, related research was found to have increased significantly. Additionally, as a result of text mining, keywords such as literacy, education, media, and digital were identified as high frequency keywords. As a result of the topic modeling analysis, four themes were derived: “major topic1 (design image and digital media)”, “major topic2 (culture and arts, liberal arts information)”, “major topic3 (education policy, educational content)”, and “major topic4 (social change)”. Thereafter, network analysis was performed for each keyword based on the keywords constituting the topic modeling topic. In this process, “literacy” research on various topics was specified and the latest trends in literacy-related researchs were also confirmed.

        A Pragmatic Study of -ketun Conditionals in Korean

This paper aims to characterize the constraint on the use of the conditional marker -ketun in Korean and discuss its discourse functional features. First of all, we argue that -ketun is licensed only in the contexts of deontic modality where the will of the discourse participants (speaker and hearer) is involved. Second, based on a critical review of Lee (1996) and Yeom (2005), we argue that 'hypotheticality' cannot be a defining feature that can correctly characterize the acceptable domain of -ketun. By further developing the perspective by Koo (1989), we propose [-immediately speaker-verified] as its defining feature. Evidence comes from our observation that a -ketun clause is used typically to describe an event or situation of which its truth or realization is verified later by someone (typically by the hearer). We further observe that what the speaker has just realized at a discourse site is not allowed to be marked by a -ketun clause. We show how this newly proposed feature can account for all and only the felicitous contexts of the -ketun conditional construction. Finally, against Lee (1998), we argue that the feature [+contrastive] is not a defining feature of the constraint of -ketun, but a corollary feature to its typical function as a contrastive topic in the flow of discourse, which is attributable to the semantic contribution of the morpheme -tun.         A Model of the English Language and Culture department Curriculum: A Culture-oriented and Content-function Balanced Curriculum

        This research aims to present a curriculum model for the English language and culture departments. As rationale of the study, we observe that the traditional English literature department curriculums have been too academic and literature-heavy to effectively accommodate practical needs from the students. We also observe that there is an increasing recognition of the importance and need of incorporating culture as a major theme in English studies and as a means to help facilitate English acquisition as well. With the above rationale in mind, we propose a curriculum model where culture-oriented integrative courses are offered in a content-function balanced curriculum. In order to implement a curriculum model of this kind, we conduct a research on student needs, where they are required to do a comprehensive evaluation of a pre-existing curriculum model. We then present a critical analysis of the research data and discuss its implication. Finally, a complete picture of the curriculum is presented with a list of all the courses.

        Analysis of research trends in the Academic Journal "Studies in Humanities and Social Science" -Focusing on keyword network and topic modeling analysis-

        Humanities and Social Sciences is a study of human history, culture, and social phenomena. This study analyzed the research trend of bibliographic information of 308 papers published in the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research at Honam University. Bibliographic information is intensive information that can represent the contents of the paper. This information was analyzed in text units and categorized by revealing the inherent significant keyword relationship and implied topics. As a result of the analysis, 'social, education, citizens, culture, and politics' were analyzed as keywords of high frequency, and analyzed based on the degree to which they appeared at the same time. As a result of the analysis, 'education-citizens, culture-social, social-citizens, education-social' were analyzed as very similar keyword pairs. In other words, it can be seen that a number of studies have been conducted centering on 'social, educational, cultural, and citizens'. As a result of the topic modeling analysis, 20 topics were analyzed, and they were reclassified into similar characteristics and classified into seven topics: value, language, education, international, social, policy, politics, organization, and industry. The middle topics were reclassified into four major topics: 'General Education, General Social, General Policy, and General Industry', and the research trend of 'Humanities, Social Science Research' was expanded and discussed around the text.

        『한국어기초사전』 뜻풀이말 학습을 위한 텍스트 분석 -텍스트마이닝과 워드프로파일링 분석을 중심으로

        This study analyzed the definition sentence text for learning the definition sentence of the Korean Basic Dictionary. The 'Basic Dictionary' was described with easy vocabulary and everyday expressions for learners who lacked knowledge of Korean and social and cultural knowledge of Korea. Based on these characteristics, it was judged that it would be helpful for learners using basic dictionaries to select vocabulary for learning by analyzing vocabulary constituting definition sentences. Text mining and word profiling techniques were used to analyze definition sentences. Through text mining, it was possible to analyze vocabulary pairs that appeared simultaneously in definition sentences such as high frequency vocabulary. In addition, as a result of word profiling analysis using the 'basic vocabulary for learning Korean' list, the ratio of vocabulary by level could be confirmed. In order to learn the pattern of the definition sentence based on the above analysis results, it is necessary to learn not only individual high-frequency vocabulary but also vocabulary pairs that frequently appear in definition sentences at the same time. In addition, among the basic vocabulary for learning, the necessity of learning in advance of high-level vocabulary and high-frequency vocabulary not included in the basic vocabulary was raised. 이 연구는 『한국어기초사전』뜻풀이말의 학습을 위하여 뜻풀이말 텍스트를 분석하였다. ‘기초사전’은 한국어에 대한 지식과 한국의 사회 문화적인 지식이 부족한 학습자가 이용할 수 있도록 쉬운 어휘와 일상적인 표현으로 뜻풀이말이 기술되었다. 이러한 특성을 기반으로 뜻풀이말을 구성하는 어휘를 분석하여 학습용 어휘를 선정한다면 기초사전을 이용하는 학습자에게 도움이 될 것으로 판단되었다. 뜻풀이말 분석을 위하여 텍스트마이닝(Text Mining)과 워드프로파일링(Word Profiling) 기법을 사용하였다. 텍스트마이닝을 통해 고빈도 어휘와 같은 뜻풀이 문장에 동시에 등장하는 어휘쌍을 분석할 수 있었다. 또한 ‘한국어 학습용 기본어휘’ 목록을 이용한 워드프로파일링 분석 결과 수준별 어휘의 비율을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 분석 결과를 토대로 뜻풀이문의 문장 패턴을 학습하기 위해서 개별 고빈도 어휘뿐만 아니라 고유사도 어휘쌍에 대한 학습과 학습용 기본어휘 중 고급 수준의 어휘와 기본어휘에 포함되지 않은 고빈도 어휘를 선행하여 학습할 필요성을 제기하였다.

        한국 문화 연구 동향 분석 : 토픽모델링 분석을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends of Korean-related topics. The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends of Korean-related topics. In 2002, a paper in which Korean culture appeared in bibliographic information was first conducted, and related research exploded from 2008. As a result of analyzing the distribution of papers by academic journal, it was confirmed that a number of studies were conducted in academic journals related to culture, Korean, and education. The 20 topics derived as a result of topic modeling analysis were reclassified by culture type and classified into achievement culture (196), information culture (121), and behavioral culture (693), and research trends by year and period were examined. Due to the nature of behavioral culture, it accounted for the highest proportion of research. This study is significant in that it examined research trends by combining topical modeling analysis of bibliographic information and categorization by cultural type. 이 연구는 한국어 관련 주제의 연구 동향을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 ‘한국 문화’ 가 출현 하는 서지정보를 토픽모델링 기법을 적용하여 분석을 시도하였다. 2002년 한국문화가 서지정보에 등장한 논문이 처음 수행되었으며 2008년을 기점으로 관련 연구가 폭발적으로 증가하였다. 학술기관별 논문 분포를 분석한 결과 ‘문화, 한국어, 교육’ 관련 학술기관에서 다수의 연구가 수행되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 토픽모델링 분석 결과 도 출된 20개의 토픽을 문화 유형별로 재분류하여 성취문화(196편), 정보문화(121편), 행동문화(693편)로 구분하였으 며 연도별, 기간별 연구 추이를 살펴보았다. 언어문화, 일상문화, 가치문화를 아우르는 행동문화의 특성상 가장 높 은 연구 비중을 차지했다. 이 연구에서는 서지정보 토픽모델링 분석과 문화 유형별 범주화를 결합하여 연구 동향 을 살펴봤다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
