        소음인(少陰人) 태음병(太陰病) 심하비증(心下?證)의 병증약리(病證藥理) 고찰

        1. Objective: Gastric Stuffiness (心下?證) in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology (少陰人 太陰病) in Sasang Constitutional Medicine shows an interesting evolutionary process. Originally found in the texts of Sanghanlun (傷寒論), the perspectives regarding the symptoms of Gastric Stuffiness were expanded by many medical scholars and Lee Jema. To comprehend the Jema's concept of Taeeum symptomatology and utilize his prescription clinically, it deserves to study on the Gastric Stuffiness in Donguisuseowon (東醫壽世保元). 2. Methods: Many texts including Sanghanlun (傷寒論) and Dongeuibogam (東醫寶鑑) were reviewed in order to track the evolutionary process concerning the symptoms of Gastric Stuffiness. Also, Lee Jema's works including the different versions of Donguisuseowon (東醫壽世保元) were reviewed to examine the development of Lee's concepts regarding the Gastric Stuffiness in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology. 3. Results and Conclusions: 1) Most of the previous concepts on Gastric Stuffiness were generally similar to those found in Sanghanlun, especially in that they addressed Yang deficiency of the middle triple energizeer as the central pathogenic process. 2) Lee Jema's views on the epigastric discomfort in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology evoloved over time and culminated in the finalized pathology and therapeutics appearing in his last work, the Shinchuk version of Donguisuseowon (東醫壽世保元). 3) 4 kinds of prescription which invented by Lee Jema to treat the Gastric Stuffiness in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology can be matched to the prescription of Sanghanlun respectively. However through evolutionary process of Jema's prescriptions, the indication of them expanded: not only to treat Gastric Stuffiness but to diverse symptoms of Soeumin.

        이온교환반응에 의한 양성자 고체 전해질 NH<sub>4</sub><sup>+</sup>-β"-alumina의 제조

        $K^{+}-{\beta}^{{\prime}{\prime}}$-alumina pellet를 이온교환 매체인 ammonium nitrate 수용액과 용융염으로 각각 이온교환하여, 고온형 PEMFC 전해질로 기대되는 무기소재인 $NH_4{^+}-{\beta}^{{\prime}{\prime}}$-alumina를 제조하였다. 고압반응기의 실험조건으로 온도는 130, 150, 170, $200^{\circ}C$ 에서, 시간은 2 h 간격으로 2 h에서 8 h까지 수열반응을 실시하였으며 이 때의 수용액의 농도는 5 M과 10 M을 사용하였다. 또한 $200^{\circ}C$의 가열기 위에서 ammonium nitrate를 완전히 녹여 용융염 상태의 ammonium nitrate를 이용하여 2 h 간격으로 2 h에서 8 h까지 이온교환을 실시하였다. 이온교환반응의 반복횟수에 따른 영향을 알아보기 위하여 재이온교환반응을 3차까지 반복해서 실험하였다. 이후 이온교환 된 $NH_4{^+}-{\beta}^{{\prime}{\prime}}$-alumina 구조체의 상 안정성, 이온교환율을 각각 X선 회절기(Rigaku Rint 2000, Japan)와 ICP-AES (Spectro, Modular EOP)를 사용하여 분석하였다. $NH_4{^+}-{\beta}^{{\prime}{\prime}}$-alumina which is expected to an inorganic solid electrolyte of high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) was prepared by ion-exchange reaction of $K^{+}-{\beta}^{{\prime}{\prime}}$-alumina pellet with $NH_4NO_3$ aqueous solution and molten $NH_4NO_3$ salts as an ion-exchange medium in the autoclave and the heating mentle reaction. In the autoclave reaction, the concentrations of $NH_4NO_3$ solution was chosen at 5 and 10 M. Each ion-exchange reaction was carried out at 130, 150, 170, and $200^{\circ}C$ for 2, 4, 6 and 8 h. In the heating mentle reaction, ion-exchange was performed at $200^{\circ}C$ for 2, 4, 6 and 8 h with molten $NH_4NO_3$ salts. In order to determine the effect of reaction times, each ion-exchange reaction was repeated 3 times. The phase stability and the ion-exchange rate of $NH_4{^+}-{\beta}^{{\prime}{\prime}}$-alumina were analyzed by XRD and ICP.

        이온빔 보조 증착법을 이용한 STS 316L 박막 합성에 관한 연구

        The thin films of 316L stainless steel were made on glass and S45C substrate by Ion beam assisted deposition with reactive atmosphere of argon and nitrogen. The films were deposited at the various conditions of ion beam power and the ratios of Ar/$N_2$gas. Properties of these films were analyzed by glancing x-ray diffraction method(GXRD), AES, potentiodynamic test, and salt spray test. The results of GXRD showed that austenite phase could be appeared by $N_2$ion beam treatment and the amount of austenite phase increased with the amount of nitrogen gas. The films without plasma ion source treatment had the weak diffraction peak of ferrite phase. But under the Ar plasma ion beam treatment, the strong diffraction peaks of ferrite phase were appeared and the grain size was increased from 12 to 16 nm. Potentiodynamic polarization test and salt spray test indicated that the corrosion properties of the STS 316L films with nitrogen ion source treatment were better than bulk STS 316L steel and STS 316L films with Ar ion source treatment.

        동무(東武)와 노사(蘆沙)의 사상적(思想的) 연계 가능성에 대한 고찰 -이기(理氣)관계를 중심으로-

        1. Objectives: This study reviews the general theory on Li-Qi (理-氣) found in Dongmu Lee Jema (東武 李濟馬) and Nosa Gi Jeongjin (蘆沙 奇正鎭)'s works and explores the associations between their philosophical systems. 2. Methods: The main ideas on Predisposition (氣稟論) found in Dongmu's works were explored in connection with the Li-Qi (理-氣) theory and compared with the perspectives suggested by Nosa. 3. Results and Conclusions 1) Nosa criticized the "weakened supervision of Li (理)" and the "separation of Li (理) and Qi (氣)", proposing that this problem can be overcome through "mutual embracement of Li and its manifestations (理分圓融 理分相涵)". 2) When Dongmu's theory on Predisposition (氣稟論) is interpreted in terms of Li-Qi (理-氣), the Seong-Li (laws governing the organ scheme) (性理(臟理)) represents the Li (理) while the formational variations in organ scheme(臟局短長) and and the level of self-cultivation (心地淸濁) represents the Qi (氣). 3) The concept of "Diversification of Li (理之異)", bearing similarities to Nosa's Li-Qi (理-氣) theory, was introduced for the first time in Dongmu's theory on Predisposition (氣稟論), which presumably built the fundamental theories in the Sasang Constitutional Typology. 4) Within Dongmu's theory of Predisposition (氣稟論) can be found a dichotomous division of "similitude between the morally unaccomplished and the morally accomplished" in the ontological plane and "dissimilitude between the morally unaccomplished and the morally accomplished" in the axiological plane; this dichotomy is more extensive and developed compared to Nosa's attempt to find a consistent logic in both the ontological and axiological plane through a Li-Qi (理-氣) structure with Li-predominance.

        This case is about 68-year-old woman patient, who suffered from 'fever of unknown origin, abdominal distension and diarrhea'. She was diagnosed as Taeumin and diarrhea as that of 'The Interior Disease of Taeumin'. So she was given Galgeunhaegitang and had gotten better in her symptoms.

      • Sensor-based Technology for Assessing Drought Stress in Two Warm-Season Turfgrasses

        본 연구는 토양 수분함량을 즉시 파악할 수 있는 Time Domain Radiometer(TDR)과 식물의 광합성 시 잎에서 반사되는 Reflectance를 통하여 식물의 상태를 파악할 수 있는 Multi-spectral radiometer(MSR)를 사용하여 난지형 잔디인 'Sea Isle 1' Seashore paspalum 과 'Floratam' St. Augustinegrass를 대상으로 토양수분함량과 Reflectance와의 상관관계를 파악하고자 시작하였다. 본 연구를 통해 토양 수분함량이 660, 694 wavelengths와 NDVI, LAI, stress index에서 높은 상관관계를 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이는 Sensor-based technology가 잔디의 수분요구 시점을 미리 파악할 수 있는 기술의 기초 자료로서 활용될 수 있으며 여러 다른 Sensor-based technology를 이용한 연구로 확대될 수 있을 것이다. This study was designed to determine what sensor-based technologies might reliably and accurately predict irrigation scheduling needs of warm-season turfgrass. 'Floratam' St. Augustinegrass[Stenotaphrum secundatum(Walt.) Kuntze] and 'Sea Isle I' seashore paspalum(Paspalum vaginatum Swartz) were established in tubs in the Envirotron Turfgrass Research Laboratory in Gainesville, FL in the spring of 2002. Each grass was subjected to repeated dry-down cycles where irrigation was withheld. Sensor-based data were collected and these evaluations were used to determine if irrigation scheduling could be determined based on plant response during dry-down. Results indicated that reflectance indices($P{\le}0.001$) and soil moisture($P{\le}0.0001$) throughout the dry-down cycle can predict the need for irrigation scheduling as turf quality declined below acceptable levels.

      • Turfgrass Responses to Water Deficit: A Review

        Drought is a major limiting factor in turfgrass management. Turfgrass responses to water deficit depend on the amount and the rate of water loss as well as the duration of the stress condition. This review paper was designed to understand responses such as photosynthesis, canopy spectral reflectance, plant cell, root, hormone and protein alteration when turfgrass got drought stress. Furthermore, mechanisms to recover from drought conditions were reviewed in detail. However, there are still many questions regarding plant adaptation to water deficit. It is not clear that the mechanism by which plants detect water deficit and transfer that signal into adaptive responses. Turfgrass research should focus on the best management practices such as how to enhance the ability of self-defense mechanism through understanding plant responses by environmental stress. 잔디가 건조 스트레스를 받은 상태에서 잔디의 생리학적 메커니즘과 건조 상태에서 식물이 회복하는 생리학적 메커니즘을 보다 깊이 이해하고자 한다. 증산작용과 Stomatal Conductance의 상호 관계로 인한 광합성량의 변화, 식물 세포 내부의 변화, 삼투압 조절능력의 변화, 호르몬의 변화, 단백질 변성 등의 생리학적 반응들을 이해하고 건조 스트레스 상태에서 회복하는데 세포내부의 적응 과정, 뿌리의 반응과 같은 생리학적인 측면에 대해 이해하고 건조 스트레스 상태에서 엽록소가 흡수하고 반사하는 Spectral Reflectance의 변화를 이해하고자 한다. 하지만 건조스트레스로 인한 식물의 생리학적 메커니즘에는 아직 많은 의문점을 가지고 있으며 향 후 외부환경 스트레스에 의한 식물의 Self-defense 메커니즘을 더욱 깊게 이해하여 보다 수준 높은 관리기법들을 연구하는데 초점을 맞추어야 할 것이다.

        소양인체질병증 임상진료지침: 진단 및 알고리즘

        Objectives This research was proposed to present Clinical Practice Guideline(CPG) for Soyangin Disease of Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM): Diagnosis and Algorithm. This CPG was developed by the national-wide experts committee consisting of SCM professors. Methods We searched the literature and articles related to Soyangin Symptomatology diagnosis and algorithm. For developing diagnosis and algorithm, we searched the classification, ordinary symptom, present symptom of the Soyangin Symptomatology. Results & Conclusions We classify the Soyangin Symptomatology by 4 steps: Exterior-Interior disease, favorable-unfavorable pattern, mild-moderate-severe-critical pattern (initial-advanced pattern). And at the unfavorable pattern, ordinary symptom is very important. So doctors need to focus on the symptom of unfavorable's ordinary symptom such as temperament inclined symptom, diarrhea, and diurnal body fever.

        태음인(太陰人) 병증(病證) 분류(分類)에 관한 연구(硏究)

        1. Objectives: We aimed to propose a sub-classification system for the Taeeumin symptomatology by examining the Taeeumin pathology and symptomatology descriptions appearing in "Donguisusebowon". 2. Methods: The Gabo Edition and the Sinchuk Edition (the upgraded and revised edition) of "Donguisusebowon" were reviewed and examined for relevant information on the Taeeum pathology and symptomatology. 3. Results and Conclusions: 1) In the Taeeumin symptomatology, the Exterior disease develops from the basic pathology of Esophagus-Cold and the Interior disease from that of Liver-Heat, eventually progressing to damage of the expirational and dispersive energy of the Lung Sector, the Prime Core Organ or the excessively small organ of the Taeeum constitutional type. The resulting pathology can be broadly defined as the "Lung-Dryness symptomatology". 2) The case reports introduced in the Exterior disease section, including the Zhang Zhongjing Mahuang-tang treatment, Prolonged-affliction disease treatment, and Exterior disease Pestilential disease treatment, share several points in common. They all arise from the pathology of "weakness in the Lung sector and deficiency in the Exterior sector", and they can all be assigned to the same symptomatological division that presents with systemic heat and cold intolerance; this symptomatology can be defined as the "Esophagus-Cold symptomatology", the milder subdivision of the exterior symptomatology. 3) The body of text appearing in the last part of the Interior disease section commonly referred to as the "Taeeumin Conspectus" is in fact not a conspectus when its contents are actually examined. Instead, it can be understood from its pathological and symptomatological descriptions that the passage is explaining the more severe subdivision of the exterior symptomatology that has progressed from Esophagus-Cold to a pathology characterized by damaged expirational and dipersive energy of the Lung Sector. 4) The relocation of the "dry-related pathology" indicates a change in perspective regarding the "Dry-related symptomatology", which caused the rearrangement of the Interior disease into divisions of Liver-Heat symptomatology that is characterized by fulminant heat pathology and Dry-Heat symptomatology that is also accompanied by Lung-Dryness. 5) The Interior disease Yin-Blood Consumptive symptomatology should be included in the Dry-Heat symptomatology in the pathological scheme. 6) Based on the above, the subdivisions of the Taeeumin symptomatology should be arranged as "Esophagus-Cold symptomatology" and "Lung-Dry-Cold symptomatology" in the Exterior disease and "Liver-Heat symptomatology" and "Dry-Heat symptomatology" in the Interior disease.
