The prognosis of young patients with hepatocellular carcinoma is remains controversial. Here we report a case of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma in twenty, successfully treated with transarterial chemolipidolization (TACL), systemic chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgical resection. Previously healthy 28 years old woman was admitted for treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. Abdominal CT showed a diffuse infiltrative HCC involving both lobes with intrahepatic bile duct invasion and pericardial lymphadenopathy. She was treated TAC with systemic chemotherapy and external beam radiotherapy. 6 months after these treatments, main tumor and the pericardial lymph node were decreased in size. And then extended left lobectomy and systemic chemotherapy were done. The pericardial lymph node was markedly decreased. The patient has been followed for 10 months without evidence of regional tumor recurrence.
LNG 화물창 방열재 균열에 따른 액화천연가스의 확산 및 온도 예측을 위한 수치 모델

The leakage of cryogenic LNG through cracks in the insulation membrane of an LNG carrier causes the hull structure to experience a cold spot as a result of the heat transfer from the LNG. The hull structure will become brittle at this cold spot and the evaporated natural gas may potentially lead to a hazard because of its flammability. This paper presents a computational model for the LNG flow and heat diffusion in an LNG insulation panel subject to leakage. The temperature distribution in the insulation panel and the speed of gas diffusion through it are simulated to assess the safety level of an LNG carrier subject that experiences a leak. The behavior of the leaked LNG is modeled using a multiphase flow that considers the mixture of liquid and gas. The simulation model considers the phase change of the LNG, gas-liquid multiphase interactions in the porous media, and accompanying rates of heat transfer. It is assumed that the N096-GW membrane storage is composed of glass wool and plywood for the numerical simulation. In the numerical simulation, the seepage, heat diffusion, and evaporation of the LNG are investigated. It is found that the diffusion speed of the leakage is very high to accelerate the evaporation of the LNG.

강화플라스틱(FRP)이 가진 저비용 장점에 비하여 화재 및 환경오염 문제가 대두됨에 따라서 알루미늄 소형 선박에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 알루미늄 재질의 선박 건조에도 절단, 성형, 용접 및 조립의 과정이 필요하지만, 소형 선박에는 박판이 사용되기 때문에 일반 강선과는 다른 공법 및 가공 조립법이 사용된다. 본 기사는 알루미늄 재료의 절단 공법, 용접 공법의 현황과 미래 기술 방향을 정리하였다. 또한 성형 공정의 문제점과 이를 위한 개선 방안을 제시함으로써 알루미늄 선박의 건조 생산성 향상 및 정도 관리의 편의성을 위한 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

Generally, curved surfaces of ship hull are deformed by flame bending (line heating), multi-press forming, and die-less forming method. The forming methods generate the required in-plane/bending strain or displacement on the flat plate to make the curved surface. Multi-press forming imposes the forced displacements on the flat plate by controlling the position of each pressing points based upon the shape difference between the unfolded flat plate and the curved object shape. The flat plate has been obtained from the unfolding system that is independent of the ship CAD. Apparently, the curved surface and the unfolded-flat surface are expressed by different coordinate systems. Therefore, one of the issues is to find a registration of the unfolded surface and the curved shape for the purpose of minimum amount of forming works by comparing the two surfaces. This paper presents an efficient algorithm to get an optimized registration of two different surfaces in the multi-press forming of ship hull plate forming. The algorithm is based upon the ICP (Iterative Closest Point) algorithm. The algorithm consists of two iterative procedures including a transformation matrix and the closest points to minimize the distance between the unfolded surface and curved surfaces. Thereby the algorithm allows the minimized forming works in ship-hull forming.
