        What we should aim at when we study Kant’s philosophy, I believe, is the understanding of the spirit of his philosophy. The basic spirit that underlies the development of his philosophical thoughts may be said to be the spirit of the subjectivity(subjective thinking and life). We need to internalize this fundamental spirit of Kants philosophy. It is because this spirit is the indispensible element for the mature human being that we seek to be.

        This paper is an attempt to understand the intrinsic aspect of ethics and its aim by studying how it has been formed. The Athens in the fifth Century B.C. came to lose their faith in the traditional ethos, due to their contact with the alien culture and the advent of the Sophists who asserted relativism. Thus they underwent spiritual confusion as to the standard of authentic life. Moreover, the principles the demagogues faked to maintain their own power began to dominate the contemporary society. In the endeavors of Socrates who tried to overcome spiritual chaos and suggest the true standard or principle is implied the archetypal aspect of ethics. In this aspect we can find some invaluable messages for the modern study of ethics.

        Kant versucht nun in der Schrift 'Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten' die Notwendigkeit der neuen Ethik and deren Grund darzustellen. Mein Aufsatz will eben den wichtigen, aber haeufig missverstandenen Satz des dritten Absatzes in der Vorrede der Schrift erklaeren. Der Satz lautet, "die zweiten (Gesetze der sittlichen Weisheit) als solche, nach denen alles geschehen soil, aber doch auch mit Erwaegung der Bedingungen, unter denen es oefters nicht geschieht". Und weiter durch die Analyse des vierten Absatzes soll meine Arbeit den eigentlichen Sinn Kants von 'a priori' and das charakteristische Merkmal der kantischen Metaphysik anhand der Theorie der urspruenglichen Erwerbung eroertern.

        This paper is an attempt to examine serious problems of contemporary education and to find some ways to overcome these problems. Among them we may number the loss of the proper ideology of education, I.e., the cultivation of the ideal human nature and the overwhelming preponderance of the western sciences at the school learning. The western sciences, with emphasis on theory, are not expected to accomplish sufficiently the proper aim of education. For the purpose of forming the desirable human nature, the traditional oriental exercise for mind and body can be considered more effective, since it has been deeply concerned with the methods and skills for character training. In this article I will try to explain how Kouksundo, one of the Korean traditional disciplines, can contribute to realization of ideal human state, namely that of clear mind, bright heart, and clear body.

        Die Hauptaufgabe der Kritik der reinen Vernunft(zitiert als KrV) ist, das Seinsprinzip der Phänomena zu erläutern. Die Erforschung nach dem menschlichen Erkenntnisvermögen a priori, die Kant in der KrV ausführt, ist zugleich ein ontologisches Argument, denn dieses Erkenntnisvermögen liefert das Seinsprinzip der Phänomena. Die Erörterung über ‘das Seinsprinzip der Phänomena in der Kantischen Philosophie’ kann beitragen, nicht nur seine neue Ontologie als Transzendentalphilosphie, sondern auch die Hauptaufgabe der KrV zu verstehen.

      • 철학 교육에서 철학사적 탐구가 갖는 의의 Ⅰ

        Die Erörterung von der Philosophiegeschichte nimmt ein großes Gewicht in der Eryiehung für die Philosophie. Es existiert aber eine nicht geringe Skepsis geneüber dieser Erörterung, in der die vergangenen Philosophie gedanken und ihre historischen Entwicklungen erklärt werden. Also brauchen wir einmal darüber nachyudenken, welchen Wert diese Erörterung in der Eryiehung für die Philosophie hat. Verliegende Arbeit stellt folgende Werte fest. 1. Die Erörterung von der Philosophiegeschichte ist unentbehrlich, um das Ich und dieses Yeitalter gründlich zu begreifen. 2-1. Das Yusammentreffen mit der ursprünglichen Bedeutung eines philosophischen Begriffs, die erst durch die philosophiegeschichtliche Untersuhung zu erreichen ist, ermöglicht die qualitativ hohe Erkenntnis von dem Menschen und der Welt. 2-2. Wir können die Problematik unseres Zeitalters einsehen, indem wir die ursprüngliche Bedeutung eines philosophischen Begriffs mit der abgelenkten byw. heruntergekommenen Bedeutung in der Gegenwart vergleichen. 2-3. Wir können wenigstens bis yu einem gewissen Grade aus der Gefagenschaft der Begriffe entlassen, indem wir durch die philosophiegeschichtliche Untersuchung die Geschichte der Begriffe verstehen.

        『예쉐 논리학』의 성립사

        It is far from easy to elucidate how Immanuel Kant’s Logic: A Manual for Lectures (Jäsche Logic) came into being which Jäsche had edited by the request of Kant. In the “Preface” Jäsche said that he had edited this volume with recourse to Kant’s manuscripts, that were no other than fragmentary notes or memorandums Kant had added in some spaces of the textbook for his lecture. How was it possible for him to compile fragmentary notes into a work? He said nothing about this, but we cannot but imagine that in the course of his compilation he had referred to the notes the student had made in the class. The reason is twofold: first, it is impossible to produce a work just with fragmentary memorandums, and secondly, according to the analysis and scrutiny of the present paper, Kant must have intended to have a reliable notebook for the lecture published, when he asked Jäsche to compile this work. Jäsche Logic, that may be regarded as something of a note for the lecture, helps us to adequately understand Kant’s logic we find it hard to access simply with the aid of his own writings he had published. Moreover the study of Kant’s logic can be important in the understanding of his essential ideas. In these respects Jäsche Logic can be judged very valuable. 칸트의 위탁에 의해 예쉐(Jäsche)가 편찬한 『임마누엘 칸트의 논리학. 강의용 교재』(『예쉐 논리학』)의 성립사를 구명하는 일은 결코 쉽지 않다. 예쉐는 「머리말」에서 칸트의 수기(手記)를 가지고 이 책을 편찬했다고 하는데, 여기서 수기란 다름 아니라 칸트가 자신의 강의용 교재에 적어 놓은 단편적인 메모들이었다. 예쉐는 어떻게 이러한 단편적인 메모들을 가지고 한 권의 저서를 편찬할 수 있었을까? 이에 관해 예쉐는 아무런 언급도 하고 있지 않으나, 그는 편찬 과정에서 학생들이 작성한 강의 필기들을 참조한 것으로 여겨진다. 왜냐하면 단편적인 메모들만을 가지고 한 권의 책을 편찬하는 것이 불가능하기 때문일 수 있는데다가, 본 연구에 따르면 이 책의 간행을 예쉐에게 위탁한 칸트의 의도가 신뢰할 수 있는 강의 필기를 간행하기 위한 것일 수 있기 때문이다. 일종의 강의 필기에 해당하는 책으로 간주될 수 있는 『예쉐 논리학』은, 칸트가 직접 출판한 저서를 통해서는 부족한 그의 논리학에 관한 이해를 보충해 줄 수 있고 칸트 논리학에 관한 연구가 그의 핵심 사상을 이해하는 데 중요할 수 있기에, 칸트 철학 내에서 가치를 지닐 수 있다.
