This study is focused on the robe style of Buddhist statues of Samkuk and Koryo dynasty. The robe is called Kasa in Korea. Buddhist sacerdotal robe were limited in three kinds and numbers of robe. Seung-ga-ri(Samghati), Ul-dah-ra-seung(Ultara-sanga), Ahntawhoe Antaravasaka). This limitation is according to the Buddist commandments. Pyunsam is unique robe only fined in the Samkuk dynasty Buddhist statues. The methids wearing Pyunsam are two ; left-fastening, right-fastening. There are three styles wearing Seung-ga-ri ; Seung-ga-ri on the Seung-gi-ji, Seung-ga-ri on the Pyunsam, Seung-ga-ri on the Ni-won-seung. The chest sash of the Buddhist statues of Samkuk and Koryo are decorative. Young-Ja(i,e. string of kasa) is found in Samkuk and Koryo Buddhist statues.

This study deals with the robes appeared in the portraits of the Most Reverend Buddhist Monks. These portraits are taken into custody in Song-Kwang-Temple, The purpose of this study is finding out peculiarities connecting with the wearing style, pattern, color etc. The Results of this study are as follow; The Buddhist robe has a long and wide sleeve. Looking out portraits of famous Buddhist monk in Korea, we could find that left-shoulder wearing style is most frequent. In comparison with previous surveys about Buddhist monk robe, the color is more brilliant various. This peculiarity is due to the influences of the thoughts of Lunar-Solar-Five-Natural-Elements(陰陽五行 思想). This is the correlations between Lunar and Solar by mutually harmonizing and destriying each other. This thought is underlined as following forms; comparing form between a lining and a surface, among colors of Young-Ja(i.e. string). between Kasa and Jangsam, between Jangsam and belt. Also we can find scarlet colour, in Korean Kasa. It might be formed through the fusion between Buddhism with conventional Shamanism. In Korean conventional thought, cadet color has some special meaning as it is able to prevent disasters. So it is used frequently in making Kasa for wishing to protect monk.

Postmodern feminism and deconstructivism that stem from postmodernism exerts a great deal of influence on not only sex consciousness but fashion. As modern men's wear is more fashion-conscious and diversified, its move toward feminization is increasingly stepped up. The androgyny, the main stream in modern society, brings a big change to men's fashion as well as women's. The purpose of this study is to discuss in which style the sex concept has been unveiled in modern dress since postmodernism in the late 20th century. Specifically, punk that represents a nihilistic sex outside conventional code is dealt with in this study, one of subculture styles which can be said to be antisocial in expression. In dress, androgyny is a representation of liberal sensitivity that keeps aloof from femininity or masculinity in pursuit of human liberation far both men and women. The homosexualism in modern fashion is not a perversive subculture by homosexuals. Instead, it gives various impact on overall culture, being attempted by some designers, and its sphere is actually being enlarged.
