Subgaleal abscess is a purulent infection between the skull pericranium and the scalp galea aponeurosis. The most common reasons of the subgaleal abscess were reported as scalp lacerations due to trauma, wound infection following neurosurgery. There have been many cases of intracranial infections such as brain abscess, meningitis, subdural abscess resulting from odontogenic sinusitis. According to our literature review, no case of subgaleal abscess resulting from odontogenic infection has been reported yet. The authors introduce a case of 66 year-old male whose subgaleal abscess arose from odontogenic sinusitis. The case was successfully managed after surgical drainage, endoscopic sinus surgery and extraction of the involved tooth.

We investigated surface potential profiles for pentacene films as a function of the film thickness and the contact metallurgy (Au and Al) by using a near-field microwave microprobe analysis and Kelvin-probe force microscopy. The surface potential for the Al/pentacene bilayers increased monotonically with the thickness of pentacene while no thickness dependence of the surface potential was for the Au/pentacene bilayers. These results are discussed based on the potential barrier at the metal/pentacene interface due to the space charge.
Investigation of CdS Films Prepared by Using Chemical Bath Deposition

Cadmium-sulphide (CdS) films were prepared on glass substrates by using a chemical bath deposition method. The dependences of the microstructures and the morphologies of CdS films on the annealing temperatures were investigated by using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. The change in the sheet resistance due to dierent annealing temperatures was studied by using a near-eld microwave microprobe by measuring the reflection coefficient S11. As the annealing temperature increased from room temperature to 300 ℃, the sheet resistance of the CdS films decreased, the surface roughness and grain size decreased and the surface showed a smoother morphology.
Millimeter-Wave Transmitter and Receiver in Communication Radio Link

A new high capability 47 GHz millimeter-wave communication radio link is presented. The compact 47 GHz radio link equipment is suitable for both data and analog signals communication. It will provide an excellent cost performance for the communication system in the local link service and the interconnection service between the base stations of cellular system. The millimeter-wave communication is expected to be employed as a large-capacity communication network, providing new services, such as visual signal and high speed data transmissions.
