        고양이에서 진정제 및 마취제가 Barium Sulfate의 위 십이지장 통과시간에 미치는 영향

        The effect of propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, ketamine HCI, xylazine HCI, and pentobarbital sodium as chemical restraint drugs on the transit time of barium sulfate through the stomach and duodenum in 24 healthy cats was investigated. In the present study, propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, and ketamine HCI did not reveal significant effect on the gastroduodenal transit time, but xylazine HCI and pentobarbital sodium pro-longed the gastroduodenal transit time markedly compared with control group. Therefore it is concluded that propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, and ketamine HCI could be selected for upper gastrointestinal radiographs. but xylazine HCI and pentobarbital sodium should be avoided.

        척추 혈관지방종의 자기공명영상소견: 1예 보고

        혈관지방종은 사지, 몸통, 경부의 연부조직에서 주로 발생하고 척추 종양중 빈도가 0.14- 1.2%가량으로 드물며, 대부분 척추 경막외 공간에서 발생한다.저자들은 척추 혈관지방종 1 예를 병리소견과 함께 자기공명영상 소견을 보고하고자 한다. Angiolipomas are usually found in the soft tissues of the extremity, trunk, or neck. Spinal angiolipomas are rare, accounting for between 0.14% and 1.2% of spinal axis tumors, and the majority are extradural. We report a case of surgically proven extradural spinal angiolipoma with a high vascular content and involving the thoracic level.

        3~5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서의 과학 활동분석:

        본 연구는 우리나라 유치원 누리과정 3, 4, 5세 교사용 지도서 32권에 제시된 919 개의 과학 활동을 누리과정 내용 요소, 학문 영역, 과학개념, 과학탐구과정 등에 대 해 분석하여 분포 경향을 알아보고, 현장 교사들의 지도서 활용을 위한 자료 제공과 유아과학교육의 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 교사용 지도서에 제시된 과학 활동은 생활 주제 중 동식물과 자연, 환 경과 생활, 생활도구, 봄 여름 가을 겨울에 비교적 고르게 분포하였고, ‘과학적 탐구 하기’는 생명체와 자연환경 알아보기가 가장 높았으며 자연현상 알아보기와는 큰 격 차를 보였다. ‘탐구하는 태도 기르기’ 관련 활동은 호기심을 유지하고 확장하기와 탐 구과정 즐기기에서 높게 나타났으며 학문영역 분포는 물리학과 생명과학과 관련된 활동이 높았다. 과학개념은 물체, 동물의 생활, 물질, 생물과 환경, 날씨와 우리생활 등을 주로 포함하였으며, 과학탐구과정은 ‘이야기 나누기’, ‘관찰하기’ 과정이 대부분 을 차지하였다. 이와 같은 결과는 유치원 현장의 교사들이 지도서를 활용하여 교육 과정을 실현하는 데 필요한 새로운 방향과 초등학교 과학교육과의 연계 방향을 위 한 논의 자료를 제공하며, 유치원 교육과정에서 유아과학교육의 방향을 모색하는데 필요한 구체적인 자료를 제공할 것이다. The goal of this study is to analyze the Science s activities included in the sets of Teacher s guide books based on the Nuri Curriculum. For this study, A total of 919 activities were selected from 32 Kindergarten Guide books. These activities were analyzed according to activities frequency, science education contents, area of science, scientific concept, scientific process skills. The results of the analysis were as follows. First, the number of science activities was not similar according the daily life-based thema and age. Themes of animals? plants and nature, Environment and life, life tools, spring?summer?fall?winter showed the highest frequency. Second, the tendencies of science concept were, in order; Investigating living things and the natural environment, Applying simple tools and machines, Investigating objects and matters, and Investigating a natural phenomenon. Third, using the scientific inquiring skill showed lower frequency than Keeping and expanding the curiosity and enjoying, Forth, By area of science, Physical Science, Biological Science, Earth and Science, Chemical Science consists of science activities. Fifth, The category related the Science concepts were the objects, life of animals, the matters, living things and environment, weather and our life. Sixth, The basic scientific inquiry process related to observation and discussion.

        아토피 개선 화장품에 관한 국내 특허 동향

        Thus, this study analyzed trends in patent applications for domestic atopy improvement cosmetics. Data for this study were collected from the Korea Institute of Patent Information (www.kipris.or.kr) using keywords related to atopy and ‘A61K’, ‘A61Q`` which is the code for cosmetics in International Patent Classification (IPC). The selected subjects were 202 patent applications made during the period from January 1, 2004 to July, 2015. First, according to the results of analyzing the number of patent applications for atopy improvement cosmetics by year, the number was largest as 33 (16.3%) in 2013, which was followed by 31 (15.3%) in 2009, 27 (13.4%) in 2010, 24 (11.98%) in 2011, 23 (11.4%) in 2012, and 19 (89.4%) in 2007. According to the results of analysis by research actors, 127 (62.9%) of the patent applications made by private companies, each 26 (12.9%) by public institutions and individuals, 23 (11.4%) by public research. According to the results of analysis by applicant, 7 applicants made two or more patent applications each and a total of 64 applications (30.9%). According to the results of analysis by research actors, the number was largest as 26 (12.6%) of the patent applications made by Amorepacific, 13 (6.3%) by LG-lifecare, and 6 (2.9%) by Hanbul & Boryung. According to the results of analyzing the number of patent applications by material, each 21 applications in 2009-2010 were for the use of medical herbs, respectively. In addition, a total of 61 applications (30.2%) were for the use of compounds, 130 (64.4%) for the use of medical herbs and 4 (2%) for the use of medical herbs+ compounds, respectively. According to the results of analysis by purpose, 100 products (49.5%) had multiple functional material , 44 (21.8%) had moisturized, 19 (9.4%) had immune control & antibiotics, and 16 (7.9%) had antipruritic. According to the results of analysis by use, 194 patent applications (93.7%) were for cosmetic compositions, 4 (5.63%) for other uses, and 2 (1%) for cleanserss and pack·mask, respectively. These findings showed the current trends in patent applications for domestic atopy improvement cosmetics, and they are expected to provide basic information for the development and patent application of various atopy improvement cosmeticsc materials through systematic research for proving effects.

        돼지에서 TRAF4 유전자 특성 및 Tight junction 관련 기능 분석

        Tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor 4 (TRAF4)는 사람의 유방암에서 과발현 되며, 암세포전이, ROS 및 세포 극성 형성 등에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 돼지에서는 아직까지 그 기능과 특성에 대한 연구가 보고 된 바 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 돼지 TRAF4의 mRNA 전장서열을 분석하고, 그 기능과 특성을 알아보고자 수행되었다. TRAF4의 전장서열을 밝히기 위해 돼지 신장유래세포(pK15)에서 total RNA 추출하여 RACE (Rapid Amplification of cDNA ends) PCR을 수행하였다. 2,030 염기쌍의 mRNA 전장서열을 분석하였고, 470개의 아미노산으로 구성 되어 있는 것을 확인하였다. 사람과 쥐의 Homology를 분석한 결과 각각 93 % 그리고 90 %의 유사도를 가지며, 사람과는 8개, 쥐와는 12개의 아미노산 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. qPCR을 통하여 TRAF4, CLDN4, OCLN 그리고 TJP1의 발현을 분석한 결과 세포의 confluency 정도에 따라 발현이 다르게 나타남을 확인하였고, 세포가 40% 증식한 그룹 보다 60 %와 80 % 이상 증식 한 그룹에서 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 또한 TRAF4의 기능을 확인하기 위하여 TRAF4 siRNA 처리 한 결과 TRAF4와 tight junction 관련 유전자가 낮게 발현됨을 관찰하였다. 따라서 사람과 마우스와 같이 돼지에서도 TRAF4가 발현되며, 세포-세포 간 중요한 역할을 하는 tight junction에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. Tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor 4 (TRAF4) is found to be overexpressed in human breast cancer. It plays a role in cancer metastasis, production of reactive oxygen species, and cell polarity at membranes. The characteristics and functions of TRAF4 in pigs have not yet been identified. As the first step of research, the mRNA sequence of TRAF4 in porcine cells has been determined. To obtain the full-length sequence, rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE) has been carried out. Upon cloning, 2,030 bp of nucleotides were found to encode 470 amino acids, and 8 and 12 amino acids were different from those of the human and mouse TRAF4, respectively. The coding region of porcine TRAF4 was shown to be 93% and 90% homologous to human and mouse TRAF4, respectively. qPCR was conducted to determine the relative expression level of TRAF4. TRAF4 expression in pK15 was enhanced by cell-cell contacts. The mRNA levels of CLDN4, OCLN, and TJP1 at 60% and 80% confluency were significantly higher than at 40% confluency. Further, TRAF4 and tight junction-related genes were down-regulated upon treatment with TRAF4 siRNA. Thus, TRAF4 may affect the function of tight junctions in pig.

        요(尿)를 함유한 화장품 제형이 여드름 피부에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effect of human-derived urine on the acne symptoms of skin conditions. Two samples of 3-7 year-old boy`s urine was used in freeze-drying after dialysis : one was dialyzed urine in an instant and the other was dialyzed urine that was aged for three days. The subjects were students in their 20s who have acne symptoms; a group of 10 students were selected for the dialyzed urine group (DU), another group of 10 students for the group of the dialyzed after three days urine (DAU) and other group of 10 students for the control group. The experiment had been conducted for a total of 8 weeks. In the results of analysis, in the case of a control group were all increased or not changed. On the other hand, DU group showed decrease in variation of sebum content (40%), amount of keratin (42%), erythema index (7%), blackhead (15%), amount of microorganism (51%) and acne grade level (68%). Besides, DUA group also showed decrease in variation of sebum content (27%), amount of keratin (40%), erythema index (9%), blackhead (16%), amount of microorganism (53%) and acne grade level (61%). Consequently, judging from the changes in the DU group and the DUA group, it was confirmed that the ingredient of urine is very effective in improving acne skin. The results of this research can be used to demonstrate the potentials of urine applicated cosmetics.
