본 연구는 제주특별자치도에 거주하는 주민을 대상으로 주민자치센터 참여 만족이 사회적 자본에 미치는 영향 관계를 알아보는 것이 연구의 목적이다.제주지역은 2006년 7월 1일 특별자치도 출범으로 지역의 경쟁력과 지역주민의 공동체 형성,자발적 참여 및 지역 문제를 스스로 해결할 역량이 더욱 강조되어지고 있다.최근 들어 지역사회의 역량을 나타내는 중요한 개념으로 등장하고 있는 것이 사회적 자본(socialcapital) 이다.연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 제주지역에 거주하는 주민 383명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며,분석방법으로는 수집된 자료를 SPSSwin12.0프로그램을 이용하였고,자료분석은 빈도분석,신뢰도분석,t-test,ANOVA분석,회귀분석을 실시하였다.주민자치센터 참여 만족이 신뢰에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 독립변수는 프로그램 운영 부문,행·재정지원 부문이 a=0.001수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다.주민자치센터 참여 만족이 규범에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과 규범에 영향을 미치는 독립변수는 행·재정지원 부문이 a=0.001수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 주민자치센터 참여 만족이 네트워크에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과 행·재정지원 부문이 a=0.001수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다.연구결과에 기초하여 볼 때 주민자치센터 참여가 지역 사회적 자본에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있으며,사회적 자본 증진방안으로는 첫째,주민센터,주민자치위원회,지역주민 협력거번넌스 구축, 둘째,공식적인 규범과 규칙에 대한 신뢰구축,셋째,지역주민의 사회참여 증진 방안을 제안하였다. The objective of this study is to take a look at the effects of participation satisfaction in community centers on local social capital with focus on Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. With the establishment of Jeju as a Special Self-Governing Province on July 1, 2007, there is increasing emphasis on local competitiveness, creation of communities, voluntary participation and the ability to solve local problems without the help of others. Recently, social capital has risen as an important facet of a local society. For the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted on 383 residents of Jeju, and the collected data was analyzed using frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis through the use of the SPSS Win 12.0 Program. Through examining the effects of participation satisfaction in community centers on trust, it was found that the individual variable that had an influence that was statistically significant was program management and administrative-financial support with a=0.001 influence on trust. Through examining the effects of participation satisfaction in community centers on standards, it was found that the individual variable that had an influence that was statistically significant was administrative-financial support with a=0.001 influence on standards. Through examining the effects of participation satisfaction in community centers on networks, it was found that the individual variable that had an influence that was statistically significant was administrative-financial support with a=0.001 influence on networks. From these results, it is apparent that participation in community centers has an effect on local social capital, and ways to increase social capital are suggested as follow. First, the foundation of community service centers, commission of self-government, local citizen cooperative governors. Second, build of trust regarding official standards and regulations. Third, measures to increase social participation by local citizens.

In the paper, we develop the ultrasonic bonding technique for LCD driver chips having small size and high pin-density. In general, the mounting technology for LCD driver ICs is a thermo-compression method utilizing the ACF (An-isotropic Conductive Film). The major drawback of the conventional approach is the long process time. It will be shown that the conventional ACF method based on thermo-compression can be remarkably enhanced by employing the ultrasonic bonding technique in terms of bonding time. The proposed approach is to apply the ultrasonic energy together with the thermo-compression methodology for the ACF bonding process. To this end, we design a bonding head that enables pre-heating, pressure and ultrasonic excitation. Through the bonding experiments mainly with LCD driver ICs, we present the procedures to select the best combination of process parameters with analysis. We investigate the effects of bonding pressure, bonding time, pre-heating temperature before bonding, and the power level of ultrasonic energy. The addition of ultrasonic excitation to the thermo-compression method reduces the pre-heating temperature and the bonding process time while keeping the quality bonding between the LCD pad and the driver IC. The proposed concept will be verified and demonstrated with experimental results.

The process of three-dimensional (3D) printing (also known as “rapid prototyping” and “additive manufacturing”) uses computer-created digital models to produce 3D objects with a desired shape by stacking materials through a layer-by-layer process. The industrial potential and feasibility of 3D printing technology were recently highlighted in President Obama’s State of the Union address in 2013. Since his speech, worldwide investment in and attention toward 3D printing technology have increased explosively. In addition, a number of 3D printing technology-based start-up companies have been established and evaluated as emerging enterprises making successful business models. In this paper, successful start-up companies (domestic and overseas) based on 3D printing technology will be reviewed.

In this study a sensor for parallelism measurement for a bonding process was developed. To measure the inclination angle between two planes, four flexures based on leaf spring was introduced to the sensor design and the bending strains of four flexures were used in the estimation of inclination angles which were roll and pitch. Consequently, it was demonstrated that the estimation accuracy of the inclination angles could be improved to be three-times higher than that of prescale pressure film in existing method.
