        일반 노년층 파열음의 음향학적 특성

        Changes in speech production in normal elderly might be subtle and gradual. Therefore, an acoustic analysis is appropriate to identify the effect of aging on speech. For this purpose, this study examined four speech parameters; voice onset time (VOT), VOT range, f0 of following vowel(f0FV), and f0FV difference in two age groups, old (mean age 74.57 yrs.) and young (m: 27.43 yrs.). The results show that compared to the older group the younger demonstrated significantly shorter VOTs in lenis and longer in aspirated stop. VOT ranges were relatively broad and consequently overlapped between the phonation types (e.g., lenis, fortis, aspirated). The f0FV values in the older group which are an integral parameter with VOT were lower compared with the young group. The f0FV differences in the old female group were significantly narrower than the young female group, therefore, clear distinction became difficult. In conclusion, contrast in temporal information was obscured, and the domain of glottal information was diminished on stop consonants in Korean elderly. The findings suggest that central/peripheral changes by aging could lead to a deficit in coordination between phonation and articulation.

        건설산업 생산체계 개편에 따른 건설보증시장 변화 예측 조사

        건설보증시장은 건설산업 및 건설시장의 변화에 영향을 받는 후방시장으로서의 특성을 갖고 있다. 최근 종합건설업체와 전문건설업체간의 업역 규제가 폐지되는 등 건설산업 생산체계의 대대적 개편이 추진됨에 따라 건설시장 뿐만 아니라 건설보증시장에도 큰 변화가 예상된다. 건설보증시장에는 현재 업역과 업종을 기반으로 구분된 종합·전문·기계설비의 3개 공제조합이 운영되고 있다. 업역이 폐지되고 나면 3개 공제조합 간 경쟁구조가 형성되는 등 건설보증시장에 여러 영향을 미칠 것이고, 따라서 시장 변화에 따라 건설보증기관의 역할에도 변화가 필요하다. 본 연구는 건설산업 생산체계 개편이 건설보증시장에 불러올 변화를 분석·예측하고, 건설보증시장에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하였다. '건설산업 생산체계 개편안'과 건설보증 관련 법령 및 제도· 정책, 건설 보증기관 관련 통계자료를 검토하여 건설보증시장의 현황을 파악하고, 3개 공제 조합원을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하여 시장 참여자의 보증기관 이용 행태를 분석하였다. 생산체계 개편 후 보증시장 변화를 살펴보면, 기계설비 조합원의 타 보증기관 이용 의향이 가장 높으며, 종합과 전문 조합원은 경쟁 확대에도 불구하고 기존 공제조합을 이용, 타 이용기관을 중복으로 이용하는 조합원들이 많을 것으로 예상된다. The construction guarantee market is a rear market affected by changes in the construction industry and market. As the restructuring of the construction industry's production system is being carried out, such as the abolition of regulations on business field between general and specialty contractors, major changes are expected not only in the construction market but also in the construction guarantee market. In construction guarantee market, there are currently three Contractor Financial Cooperatives, which are divided based on business field and business type(General, Specialty and Plant & Mechanical). The abolition of business field regulation will have various effects on construction guarantee market, such as forming a competitive structure among the three Contractor Financial Cooperatives. Therefore the role of the construction guarantee institutions are also required to change. This study predicted the changes in the construction guarantee market after the restructuring of construction industry and analyzed the ripple effect on the market. This study reviewed the details of the reorganization plan on the construction industry, policies and statistical data related to construction guarantee, and lastly conducted the survey on each member of the three Contractor Financial Cooperatives to analyze the usage behavior in the future guarantee market. Based on the result of this study, the members of both the General Contractor Financial Cooperative and Specialty Contractor Financial Cooperative are not willing to change the existing institutions, but a lot of them are expected to use other institutions in duplicate. The members of the Plant & Mechanical Contractor Financial Cooperative are most willing to use other guarantee institutions.

        III급 부정교합 환자의 한국어 모음 발음에 관한 음향학적 분석

        The purpose of the study was to investigate the characteristics of the pronunciation of Korean vowels in patients with class Ⅲ malocclusion. 11 adult male patients with class Ⅲ malocclusion(mean ages 22.3 years) and four adult males with normal occlusion(mean ages 26.5 years) were selected for the analysis of eight Korean monophthongs /ㅣ, ㅔ, ㅐ, ㅏ, ㅓ, ㅗ, ㅡ, ㅜ/. The values and relationships of F1, F2 and F3 were derived from the stable section of target vowel in each sentence, and the analysis using formant plots and vowel triangles distance and area was conducted to find the features of two groups vowel distributions. Consequently, it was identified that the pronunciation of males patients with class Ⅲ malocclusion showed high values of F1 in the low vowels, high values of F2 in the back vowels, and remarkably low position of /ㅏ/. The vowel triangle suggested that the triangle areas of male patients with class Ⅲ malocclusion were shown wider vertically and narrower horizontally than those of males with normal occlusion. These characteristics could reflect the structural features of class Ⅲ malocclusion such as the prognathic mandible, low tongue position, and advancement of back position of the tongue.

        고카페인 섭취 전·후 음성 특성 비교

        This study was conducted to identify the differences in voice characteristic variables before and after taking a certain amount of high-caffeine. Linear PCM-M10 Recorder (SONY) was used for the recorder and basic frequency of the voice (Fo), frequency fluctuation rate (jitter), amplitude fluctuation rate (shimmer) and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) were measured using TF-32(University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA). First, prolonged phonation analysis results of /ah/ by male subjects showed the shimmer values after taking high-caffeine increased statistically significantly(p<.05) compared with before the intake and SNR values significantly decreased. (p<.05). On the other hand, female subjects didn’t show any statistically significant differences in all variables. Second, male subjects showed statistically significant increased shimmer values after the intake compared with before the intake at /ah/ of syllable ‘na’ and /ah/ in ‘ra’ in ‘autumn’ paragraph (p<.05), and jitter values significantly increased at /ah/ in ‘ah’ (p<.05). However, female subjects didn’t show any statistically significant differences in all variables. Results of this study showed that high-caffeine intake more affects male subjects than female subjects. In male subjects, shimmer and SNR changed at vowel prolonged phonation, /ah/, and study results showed that shimmer and SNR in ‘Autumn’ paragraph /na/, /ra/ and jitter in /ah/ could be identified as the variables to show the voice change.
