The dynamic responses of a PSC bridge for automated guide-way transit system are investigated by analytical approach of bridge-vehicle interaction. In this study, the dynamic responses, concerned with a spall on the surface of bridge are emphasized. A simply supported pre-stressed concrete bridge is adopted as a numerical example. Dynamics of three-dimensional dynamic interaction system between bridges and vehicles is considered in this study. The FE method and modal analysis is used for modeling a bridge for dynamic response analysis. An AGT vehicle is idealized as a model with 11DOFs including lateral motion. It was found that the dynamic responses of bridge can be affected by a spall of surface. Especially, the vibrations are increased much more when a spall is exist.

The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between exercise needs and exercise self-schema of students participating in university physical activity classes. The participants consisted of 243 students of A university located in Gangwon-do, who were participating in university physical activity classes. The collected data was statistically processed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 20.0. In order to verify the reliability of the survey questionnaires, Cronbach’s α value was calculated, and confirmatory factor analysis and exploratory factor analysis were performed for the validity of the survey questionnaires. To obtain information of personality traits, frequency analysis was implemented. The average and standard deviation of measurement variables were calculated and correlation analysis of the measurement variables was carried out. To verify the relationship between exercise needs and exercise self-schema, a multiple regression analysis was performed. The result showed that, firstly, there was a partially statistics significant difference between exercise needs and exercise self-schema according to their demographic variables. Moreover, there were positive influence on correlations among their exercise needs and exercise self-schema. Secondly, a positive effect of degree of exercise needs on exercise self-schema was found.

The vertical slope of railway track is the differences of attitude for the horizontal distances between two positions of railway. It is better to be small vertical slope for the comfortable of passengers and the operation of railway system. However, the variable vertical slope is required that the simple vertical slope causes the huge quantities of embankment and cutting, the continuous welded rail tunnels, the continuous welded rail bridges, etc,. This research is for the relation between the vertical slopes and the trainset performances. This research shows that the effective vertical slopes for the operation of railway. The velocity of car and operation time and the consumed energy was considered for each vertical slope and type of car power system. The result of suitable vertical slope from this research is to be used for the design of railway plan.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a psychological skills training program on psychological skills and intrinsic motivation of rhythmic gymnasts. The participants consisted of five rhythmic gymnasts and one coach competing at an elite level. They received 8 sessions of the psychological skills training which was specially designed to implement. The program included education for PST, psychological measurements, goal setting, team building, imagery, communication, performance strategies, and energy management and control. The effectiveness of the program was assessed through Athletes’ Self-Management Questionnaire, Intrinsic Motivation Inventory, Test of performance strategies, and qualitative interviews. The results of the study revealed the effectiveness of the program for self-management, intrinsic motivation, and performance strategies, and it was confirmed by the participants’ interviews. In summary, the newly designed psychological skills training program could be utilized for rhythmic gymnasts to improve performance and psychological skills. The implication of the study and suggestions for the future study were discussed.
