The purpose of this study was to analyze the perceptions of the youth toward their career choice, awareness and their needs of placement office in the university. The questionnaire was consisted of demographic information, career choice and exploration, desired career fields and the needs of placement office system in the university. The data were collected from the youth and analyzed by SPSSWIN 7.5, and the statistical techniques used for this study were crosstabs(X^2-test), frequencies, and percentage. The findings were : (1) the youth usually have considered their career choice before and after their graduation. (2) the youth want to get their own business for avoiding the uncertainty of job markets. (3) the youth stressed mainly of the key competencies to get a job. (4) the placement office system was not existed or not operated enough for preparing their career preparation and choice. (5) the youth perceived that it was hard to get the information regarding job qualifications and career markets. (6) only 4.7% of the respondents visited the job infromation center or placement office. Based on the findings, recommendation was derived that the job information center or placement office should be improved or set it up for their career guidance and job search, and the key competencies on the career should be emphasized on the curriculum planning.

This research's fundamental purpose was to develop measures for sound bringing up of youth by grasping the overall real conditions of Cable TV program that have the strongest influence on the youth socialization and by analyzing the harmfulness thereof to the youth. The objects of this research were 1,564 students of primary, junior and senior high schools and college, and findings of the research are as follows : 1. The experience of Cable TV program listening and watching was different by school levels and sex. 2. The youth showed different responding, by each stand point, to the positive influence of the Cable TV program. 3. With regards to negative influence of the Cable TV program, the research showed negative responding on some parts and vice versa on the others. 4. It was revealed that the experience of the Cable TV program do not affect so greatly in fact, other than the anticipation that it might affect the youth greatly.

The purpose of the present study was to survey use of electronic media(especially including sexuality) among middle school students and high school students and to investigate the effect of sexual electronic media on youth's aggression and morality. The subjects of the study were 751(middle school students: 376, high school students: 375) from Seoul, Pusan, Taegu, and Kwanju. The major findings of this study were as follows: ① More than half of the subjects have had experience using sexual electronic media. ② High school students and boys used more sexual electronic media than middle school students and girls. ③ The youth who had experience using sexual electronic media showed more aggression and less morality than those who did not.
