        배선밀집도 드리븐 배치

        본 논문에서는 주어진 상세배치의 배선밀집도를 예측하고, 배선밀집도가 높은 지역을 효과적으로 해결하는 새로운 알고리즘을 소개한다. 제안된 기법의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특정지역을 관통하는 넷이 많아 그 지역의 배선밀집도가 높을 경우 관통하는 넷에 연결된 셀들을 효과적으로 찾아내어 그들의 위치를 조정함으로써 배선밀집도를 완화시킨다. 둘째, 리플이동 (ripple movement) 기법을 이용하여 셀들을 이동함으로써 배선길이를 희생시키지 않으면서 배선밀집도를 완화시킨다. 셋째, 셀의 이동에 따른 배선밀집도의 변화 및 배선길이의 변화를 효과적으로 추적할 수 있도록 증분 자료구조 (incremental data structure)를 사용하였기 때문에 실시간으로 변화되는 상황에 적합한 셀 선택이 이루어지며, 실행시간도 매우 빠른 장점이 있다. 마지막으로, 본 논문에서는 MST 넷 모델을 사용하여 배선밀집도를 예측하지만 제안한 기법은 특정 넷 모델에 상관없이 적용할 수 있다. 특히 실제 라우터로부터 배선정보를 얻을 수 있다면, 배선밀집도는 더욱 효과적으로 해결될 수 있다. 제안된 기법을 이용한 실험결과는 배선길이를 희생하지 않으면서 배선밀집도를 매우 효과적으로 개선할 수 있음을 보여준다. This paper describes a new effective algorithm to estimate routing congestion and to resolve highly congested regions for a given detailed placement. The major features of the proposed technique can be summarized as follows. Firstly, if there are congested regions due to some nets which pass through the regions it can determine which cells affect those congested spots seriously and moves some of them to resolve congestion effectively. Secondly, since the proposed technique uses the ripple movement technique to move cells it resolves congestion without sacrificing wire length. Thirdly, we use an efficient incremental data structure to trace the changes in congestion and wire length as cells move. Hence, selection of cells to move could be very accurate and fast in the course of iteration. Finally, although an MST net model is used to resolve congestion in this paper, proposed technique can be work with any net model. Particularly, if proposed technique can obtain routing information from a real router, congestion can be resolved more effectively. Experimental results show that the proposed technique can resolve congestion effectively and efficiently without sacrificing wire length.

        다종 위성 자료를 활용한 해수면온도(SST) 합성기법 개발 연구

        본 연구는 다종 위성 자료를 활용한 해수면온도 합성 기법에 대한 연구이다. 현재 많은 연구자들이 사용하고 있는 NGSST 알고리듬은 위성에 따른 정확도를 고려하지 않고 시 공간 상관도만을 계산하여 해당 픽셀의 값을 추정한다. 본 연구에서는 위성 센서별로 가지고 있는 정확도를 추가로 고려한 해수면온도 합성기법을 제안하고 기존 알고리듬과의 비교를 수행하였다. 합성장을 산출하는데 사용된 센서는 적외 센서인 MODIS, AVHRR 그리고 마이크로파 센서인 AMSR-E를 사용하였고, 2011년 4월 4일을 기준으로 5 km의 공간해상도를 갖는 일일 해수면 온도 합성장을 비교하였다. 부이와의 비교 결과, 기존 방법(NGSST Method)과 제안 방법(New Method)에 의한 표준편차는 각각 $0.15^{\circ}C$와 $0.12^{\circ}C$이었다. 또한 기존 방법보다 제안 방법에 의한 해수면온도 값은 연안을 제외한 대부분의 해역에서 다소 높게 산출이 되었다. 현 단계에서 정량적인 평가는 어렵지만, 본 연구를 통하여 해수면온도 합성기법에 대한 연구 방향이 제시되었다고 판단된다. This study introduces a technique to merge three different sea surface temperature(SST) data obtained from multi-satellite sensors. NGSST algorithm, the most popular method of related society, estimates a center pixel of target SST using temporal and spatial correlations, excluding SST accuracies according to sensing methods or properties of satellites. We suggest a merging method of SST to consider the accuracy by satellite or sensor with a comparison with NGSST method. The data used for a merged daily SST with spatial resolution of 5 km was applied from three different satellite sensors such as MODIS, AVHRR and AMSR-E from April 2 to 4, 2011 around the southern coast of Korea. Results of the comparisons showed that the new method is higher than the NGSST method and its STDEV represents a comparatively low value. In future we are planning to compare and analyze the datasets during the daytime as well as nighttime over total cycle of the day.

        패류 중 자연정화 및 인공정화에 의한 위생지표세균의 변화

        In coastal areas that are affected by continuous, seasonal or occasional pollution sources, bivalves accumulate biological contaminants such as pathogenic bacteria. We investigated the effect of natural seawater relaying and electrolyzed seawater depuration on the bacteriological quality of artificially contaminated oysters Crassostrea gigas and short-necked clams Ruditapes philippinarum to suggest an alternative method of shellfish sanitation control.When artificially contaminated oysters and short-necked clams (fecal coliform level 1,700 MPN/100 g) were relayed into a sea area of safe bacteriological water quality, the fecal coliform level dropped to below 110 MPN/100 g after 1 day. The bacteriological quality of oysters and short-necked clams that are contaminated at a fecal coliform level of 1,700 MPN/100 g could be improved, and become appropriate for raw consumption by a single day relay under proper environmental conditions. When artificially contaminated oysters (fecal coliform level 330 MPN/100 g) were depurated with electrolyzed seawater, 94% of fecal coliform was eliminated after 12 h and fecal coliform was undetectable after 24 h. After 24 h depuration with electrolyzed seawater, the fecal coliform level of short-necked clams with initial fecal coliform of 2,400 MPN/100 g was below 20 MPN/100 g. However, the fecal coliform level of short-necked clams with initial fecal coliform of 17,000 MPN/100 g was relatively high, at 790 MPN/100 g, even after 24 h of depuration with electrolyzed seawater, because of the repeated cycle of excretion and accumulation of fecal coliform in shellfish tissue under the closed depuration environment. Such natural seawater relaying and electrolyzed seawater depuration can be restrictively applied to improve or secure the bacteriological quality of oysters and short-necked clams in accordance with safety levels for bivalves for raw consumption.

        영화와 기술 그리고 ‘사회적인 것’의 구성

        Today’s movie audiences enjoy watching films that are composed of 48 frames per second. Cinema, which first emerged as a new paradigm for visual experiences through a technical medium, has, one century later, unveiled yet another visual experience. The act of watching movies is a perceptive activity by humans, achieved in the process of detecting the motions of light emitted by a projector. In this sense, films can be considered the first medium in which a machine became involved in the process of human perception. If films can be defined in terms of film-making, the understanding of films must also accept the importance of the entire process and all that it generates, including the camera, projector, theater, and human eyes. This study attempts to reconceptualize the context of understanding cinema by focusing on the technology deeply embedded throughout the process, from the generation of movies and operation of the medium to the acceptance of perceptual information. In order to consider the technologies that play a central role in the process of ‘social’ composition of movies, this study selected as its analytical framework the Actor-Network-Theory(ANT), which has recently opened new directions in Science and Technology Studies. According to ANT, cinema is not simply an art genre invented by the Lumiere brothers and having a history marked by famous films such as those of Hitchcock or the 〈Star Wars〉 series. Rather, it is “the collective of humans and nonhumans,” meaning it is the combination of the Lumiere brothers, cameras, projectors, and theaters. At the same time, it is the result of the editing that began with the network composed in the film studio of Melies. Based on the perspective of ANT, this study explains the association between technology and cinema, using computer graphics, 3D movies, and multiplex cinemas as examples. In the last chapter of this study, another example of the association between cinema and technology is presented: the case of Alexander Kluge, the director who produced ‘movies’ for television. Society is no longer composed only of humans. It has become impossible to understand society without considering the various technical innovations that have proliferated in the modern era. This opinion must be further considered in the understanding of films, which is a technical medium. The camera technology that is integrated with the human eye in Kino-Eye composes something ‘social’ in Multiplex, the complex form of actor-network.

        표와 텍스트기반 한글 파일(.hwp)의 HTML로의 변환 소프트웨어 구현

        In this study, we implemented a software that converts the table and text based Hangul files into HTML files so that the Hangul files attached to E-mail can be checked directly in a web browser. Public offices and public institutions write most of the official documents using Hangul, and share them through bulletin boards or e-mails. Most of these documents consist of tables and text, and most of them are shared on the web for viewing, not for editing. In order to implement effective conversion software suitable for this purpose, we present a method to reduce the execution overhead and conversion overhead of existing conversion software. By using the characteristics of table and text, the pattern of the template is used, and the structure after the conversion is simplified. When comparing the document converted by the method presented in this paper with the HTML document generated by the existing converter, the use of the tag attribute is greatly reduced, and the conversion result is simplified because only two files are generated after the conversion.

        상세배치를 위한 확장된 인터리빙 기법

        본 논문에서는 상세배치를 개선할 수 있는 확장된 인터리빙 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 행-기반 인터리빙 기법은 한 행 내에서만 셀의 위치를 이동할 수 있는 제약이 있으며, 모든 셀이 여백 없이 인접해 있다는 가정 하에 적용 가능하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 확장된 인터리빙 기법은 그런 제약을 극복하여 셀이 다른 행간에도 이동할 수 있도록 하였고, 또한 셀들 사이에 여백이 있는 경우에도 인터리빙 기법을 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 반도체 설계 회사에서 사용 중인 CAD 툴에 의해 수렴된 상세배치를 제안된 인터리빙 기법을 이용하여 추가로 개선시킨 결과 HP(half perimeter)가 평균 9.5%가 개선되었다. In this paper we propose an extended interleaving technique to improve a detailed placement. The existing row-based interleaving technique allows cells to move only within a row and it can be applied when there is no space between cells. The proposed extended-interleaving technique releases such constraints so that cells can move along with a vertical line parallel to a y-axis and space between cells is properly handled. Converged detailed-placements by a mature CAD tool have been improved by the proposed interleaving technique by 9.5% on average in half-perimeter wire length.
