A Study on the workplace particles matter affecting to the industrial accidents prevalence

Fine dust in working places, along with analyzing its sources, is an important factor to predict industrial disaster of workers. Being absorbed and stuck in the deep position of our respiratory organs, fine dust has many harmful effects on our health. This study aims at investigating harmful factors for workers' health caused by fine dust in working places, at improving working conditions for employees, along with diminishing financial damage of employers ; which will surely attribute to establishing safe, pleasant and respectful image of companies.
좌식 작업에 있어서 슬관절 각도 변화에 따른 하지 근력 및 압력분포 분석에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data, such as exerting muscle power of the lower-extremity, EMG test and pressure distribution for designing ergonomic workstation in sitting posture. The exerting muscle power of the lower-extremity was measured by PRIMUS in 4 postures of 90°, 120°, 150° and 180°. And performed ANOVA test on Max. and Mean 100%MVC. In EMG test for surveying muscle mobiligation, 5 muscles(Rectus Femoris, Vastus Lateralis, Gastrocnemius, Soleus, Tibialis Anterior) were employed. Additional experiment in pressure distribution in sitting posture by Pliance(16×16 poles), Max. pressure was measured and performed ANOVA test on the results. Concludingly, sitting posture with 120° lower-extremity is the best design criterion for ergonomic workstation in sitting posture.
들기 작업에서 높이와 각도 변화가 발 부위에 미치는 스트레스에 관한 연구

In this paper, we propose a stress analysis on foot by lifting task attitudes. Maximum force and peak pressure were measured on 8 body regions by Pedar system in order to analysis the stress which is affected by task style and angle on foot when Manual Materials Handling task. As for the peak pressure of the whole foot as to the task height during the lifting task, the height from Knuckle to Shoulder was the least in the peak pressure. Also, as for the maximum force and the peak pressure of the whole foot as to the task angle during the lifting task, it could be seen that the more an angle increases, the stress influencing on a foot jumps. As for the maximum force and the peak pressure by foot region as to the task height in case of the lifting task, the height from Knuckle to Shoulder is indicated the smallest value in the maximum force and the peak pressure, thus there is necessary to attain the work design that considered this. Also, as for the maximum force by foot region as to the task angle in case of the lifting task, 0° tasking is indicated to be least, thus there is necessity to be attained the tasking design in a bid to prevent the existence of an angle. The results of this paper are thought to be helpful to the suitable work design, to the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders related to the lower limbs, and to the design of ergonomic safety shoes.

In this paper, we propose the ergonomic design method in shape design applicable for Advanced Urban Transit System. Human"s sensitivity and User Interface of rolling stock investigated ergonomic studies of several type. The sensibility engineering design made approach of user center design in rolling stocks design. Therefore, we have application to properly of ergonomic design element in rolling stock design. we expert visual design and user interface help greatly in excellent rolling stock design.
차세대 첨단 도시철도시스템 기술개발사업의 업무분류체계(WBS) 구성에 관한 연구

Concurrent engineering is considered in the 21st century product development and R&D. Moreover, advancements in IT and advanced system engineering technology enables to produce high-quality article and shorten the period of R&D. The paper propose work breakdown structure(WBS) based on the product data management(PDM), WEB based system engineering technique, to introduce and operate advanced system engineering technique. We will manage systematically all data produced in advanced urban transit system project based on the proposed WBS. Besides, we provide strategic information for improving efficiency of R&D in advanced urban transit system project. Futhermore, we manage data such as images, design drawings, documents as well as numerical data, and will establish PDM system for sharing the data.

Passenger safety is a primary concern of railway system but, it has been urgent issue that dozens of people are killed every year when they fall off from train platforms. Recently, advancements in IT have enabled applying vision sensors to railway environments, such as CCTV and various camera sensors. The objective of this work is to propose technical and system requirements for establishing intelligent monitoring system using camera equipments in urban transit system. We suppose the system is to determine automatically and in real-time whether anyone or anything is in monitoring area. To achieve the goal, we analyze recent image processing technologies for detection and recognition, and suggest possible direction of system development for applying urban transit system. According to the results, we expect the proposed system requirements will play a key role for establishing highly intelligent monitoring system in railway.
