The image quality management of bone mineral density (BMD) is the responsibility and duty of radio-technologists who carry out examinations. However, inaccurate conclusions due to the lack of understanding and ignorance regarding the methodology of image quality management can be a fatal error to patients. The accuracy and precision of BMD measurement must be maintained at the highest level so that actual biological changes can be detected with even slight changes in BMD. Accuracy and precision should be con- tinuously preserved for image quality of machines. Those factors will contribute to ensure the reliability of BMD examination. The enforcement of proper quality control of radiolo- gists performing BMD inspections which brings about the durability extensions of equip- ment and accurate results of calculations will help the assurance of reliable inspections. An exploratory study on distributed thermometry using OFDR (Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometry) for automotive battery application is presented. The thermometry technique in this study uses thin and flexible optical fiber as a sensing medium. Temperature measurements are made along the sensing medium at regular intervals and is unaffected by electrical interferences. A single optical fiber sensor is capable of monitoring multiple cells within an automotive battery module with good temperature sensitivity and spatial resolution. In this study, a preliminary sensor was experimentally verified by heating a section of the sensor up to 55℃. Results showed good temperature accuracy of ±5℃ at 10㎝ of spatial resolution.
취학 전 다문화가정 아동과 일반가정 아동의 음운인식능력 비교 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the phonological awareness ability of preschool children from multi-cultural families (MCF) and single-culture families (SCF). The total participants were children from 20 MCF and 20 SCF of the same chronological age, period of first word and two-word phrase utterance, and income level of the family. The mothers of the children of the MCFs hailed from the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and China. Phonological awareness ability was examined by a test of phonological awareness. The test of phonological awareness was composed according to phonological units (word, syllable, and phoneme) and task types (deletion, discrimination, blending, substitution, counting, segmenting, and addition). The results obtained in this study were as follows. The phonological awareness ability scores of children from MCFs were significantly lower than those of children from SCFs in all phonological units and task types. Given these findings, children from MCFs might be seen to be more affect than children from SCFs in the view of phonological awareness ability. Therefore attention must be paid to both the phonological awareness ability and language development of children from MCFs.

복숭아 果樹園의 合理的인 下草防除策을 樹立하기 爲하여 雜草發生前 土壤處理型 除草劑인 Kamex, C-6159, Ustinex-Z, Kerb等 4藥劑와 雜草處理劑인Gramoxone, MON-2139, Hyvar-X, Ustinex-PA, Ustinex-special等 6種藥劑를 그 濃度水準別로 處理하여 藥劑除草實驗을 實施한바 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 雜草發生前 土壤處理結果 除草效果가 우수하여 2∼3個月間 完全 無草狀態가 유지되었던 處理區는 C-6159, 320, 700g ai/10a區 및 Ustinex-Z 740g ai/10區로서 이들은 淸耕栽培에 適合한 藥劑로 思料된다. 2. 雜草處理 (生育期處理) 結果 a. 草生耕培로 適合한 藥劑는 MON-2139(Round up), Gramoxone이며 이중 特히 MON-2139는 200, 400g ai/10a 水準에서 一年草는 물론 宿根草의 防除까지 可能하였다. b. 雜草處理後 旣生草의 防除는 물론 後發生雜草의 抑制까지 可能한 소위 淸耕栽培에 適合한 藥劑는 Hyvar-X 320g ai/10a, Ustinex-PA 600g ai/10a, C-6216, 500, 750, 1000g ai/10a等이었다. In order to establish reasonable weed control measure in peach orchard, we experimented on the chemical weed control using 4 pre-emergence soil treatment herbicides such as Kamex, C-6159, Ustimex-Z, and Kerb, and 6 foliage treatment herbicides such as Gramoxone, MON-2139, Hyvar-Z, ustinex special and C-6216 on Various level of concentration. The results are summarized as follows; 1. Result of pre-emergence soil treatment Herbicides effect in the ptlost reated with C-6159 at 320 to 700g ai/10a and ustinex-Zat at 740g ai/10a were so excellent that no weed appeared for almost 2-3 months afther their application. These were considered to be good herbicides for clean Culture. 2. Result of foliage tretment a, MON-2139(Round up) and Gramoxone were proved good foliage treatment herbicides for sod culture, especially the MON-2139 at 2000 to 400g ai/10a Control perennials as Weed as annuals. b, Hyvar-X at 320g ai/10a, Ustinex-PA at 600g ai/10a and C-6216 at 500, 750 and 1000g ai/10a, proving good herbicide for clean Culture, showed excellent Weed control for established weeds and even inhibited newly emerged weeds. 3. Effect of the herbicieds on peach tree apparently, no growth injury or the delav of blooming of the tree were caused by the herbicides treatments.
