rac-Et(Ind)2ZrCl2 메탈로센 촉매와 메틸알루미늄옥산 공촉매를 이용하여 polyethylene, poly(ethylene- co-1-decene), poly(ethylene- co-p-methylstyrene) 및 poly(ethylene-ter-1-decene-ter-p -methystyrene)를 합성하였다. 13C NMR과 1H NMR 및 FT-IR을 이용하여 삼원공중합체의 특성을 분석하였다. 삼원공중합의 최적조건을 확립하기 위해 동일한 중합조건을 유지한 채 촉매량, 공촉매/촉매 몰비, 중합 시간 및 중합 온도를 변경하여 실험하였다. 촉매량이 증가할수록 삼원공중합체의 촉매활성도 및 중량평균분자량은 증가하였으나, 중합시간이 30분을 초과하자 촉매활성도는 감소하였다. 공촉매/촉매 몰비를 증가시킨 결과 중량평균분자량은 감소하였고, 촉매활성도는 어느 정도 증가하였다. 촉매활성도는 중합온도가 증가함에 따라 상승하였으나 중량평균 분자량은 감소하였다. We synthesized polyethylene, poly(ethylene-co-1-decene), poly(ethylene-co-p-methylstyrene), and poly(ethylene- ter-1-decene-ter-p-methystyrene) using a rac-Et(Ind)2ZrCl2 metallocene catalyst and a methylaluminoxane cocatalyst system. The materials were characterized using nuclear magnetic spectroscopy and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. To identify suitable reaction conditions for terpolymerization, we studied the effects of catalyst content, cocatalyst/catalyst molar ratio, polymerization time, and polymerization temperature. As the catalyst content increased, the catalytic activity and the molecular weight of the terpolymers increased. The catalytic activity sharply increased but little change was observed after a polymerization time of 30 min. The increase in the cocatalyst/catalyst molar ratio resulted in a decrease in the molecular weight of the terpolymers and an increase in the catalytic activity to some degree. The catalytic activity increased with increasing polymerization temperature, while the molecular weight of the terpolymers decreased.

저자들은 내원 2~3주 전부터 시작된 발열, 기침과 하지 부종을 주소로 내원한 29세 남자 환자에서 비위생적인 인슐린 피하 주사와 관련된 H. parainfluenzae 삼첨판 심내막염 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Right-sided infective endocarditis occurs in approximately 5~10% of all infective endocarditis cases. It is associated with intravenous drug abuse, indwelling intravenous catheters, congenital heart disease, alcoholism, and skin infection; however, infective endocarditis involving the tricuspid valve caused by Haemophilus species is uncommon. Here we report a case of tricuspid valve endocarditis caused by H. parainfluenzae in a 29-year-old male patient with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus who injected himself repeatedly with insulin under unsanitary conditions. Venous thrombosis and thromboembolism appear to occur more often in patient with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The cause of thrombotic complications in IBD is generally considered to be associated with hyper-coagulable conditions. Its prevalence rate ranges from 1% to 8% in clinical studies and rises to 39% in autopsy, but the renal vein thrombosis is very rare complication in ulcerative colitis patient. A 24-year-old man presented with intermittent abdominal pain and hematochezia for 6 months and recently developed pitting edema for few weeks. He was diagnosed as severe ulcerative colitis involving whole colon combined with thrombosis in both renal veins by colonoscopy and computed tomography scan of abdomen. We used steroid for the treatment of ulcerative colitis and both intravenous lower molecular weight heparin and warfarin for renal vein thrombosis. His symptoms were improved after treatment and maintained with mesalazine and warfarin. Follow-up abdominal CT scan showed complete resolution of both renal vein thrombosis. Currently he has been followed up for 2 years with oral mesalazine. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2009;54:248-251)
멀티 버너 중유 연소로에서의 합성 가스 혼합 연소 특성 연구

Co-combustion of syngas in an existing boiler can be one of the options for replacing conventional fossil fuel with alternative fuels such as waste and biomass. This study is aimed to investigate effects of syngas cocombustion on combustion characteristics and boiler efficiency. An experimental study was performed for a pilot-scale furnace with 4 oil burners. Tests were conducted with mixture-gas as a co-combustion fuel and heavy oil as a main fuel. The mixture-gas was composed of 15% CO, 7% H₂, 3% CH₄ and 75% N₂ for simulating syngas from air-blown gasification. And LHV of the mixture-gas was 890 ㎉/N㎥. Temperature distribution in the furnace and flue gas composition were measured for various heat replacement ratio by the mixture gas. Heat loss through the wall was also carried out through heat & mass balance calculation, in order to obtain informations related to boiler efficiency. Experimental results show that similar temperature distribution and flue gas composition can be obtained for the range of 0~20% heat replacement by syngas. NOx concentration is slightly decreased for higher heat replacement by the syngas because fuel NOx is decreased in the case. Meanwhile, heat loss is a bit decreased for higher heat replacement by the syngas, which implies that boiler efficiency can be a bit decreased when syngas co-combustion is applied to a boiler.
1㎿급 중유 멀티 버너 시스템에서의 합성 가스 혼합 연소에 따른 연소 특성 파악

An experimental study was performed on 1㎿ furnace in order to obtain mixture-gas percent on co-combustion of mixture-gas. The fuel was used heavy oil and Mixture-Gas. Total heating value was fixed 930 KW. heavy-oil was reduced 10% and 20% in total heating value. And mixture-gas was increased 10% and 20% in total heating value. The experimental results show that similar flue gas characteristic and temperature characteristic can be obtained all case. Accordingly the highest mixture-gas percent (20%) does not reduce thermal efficiency of boiler and the decrease in use of fossil fuel be possible.

Experiments were performed to development of low NOx burner for 5ton/hr industrial boiler, through flue gas analysis. Main flue gas characteristics are NOx and CO concentrations. Goal of the NOx emission in this research is NOx of below 130ppm. So Two swirlers were designed for redusing NOx. swirlers were designed inlet area of 1st air and 2nd air differently for experiment. Gas analyzer was used to analyze NOx and CO concentrations. Through the experiments, We can obtain such goals as the low NOx of below 130ppm, CO of below 10ppm corrected at O₂ 4%.
PEM 연료전지용 Bipolar Plate의 변화단면 유로에 대한 CFD 해석

A flow channel model of a bipolar plate with varying cross-sectional area was newly designed for improving performance and efficiency of a PEM fuel cell stack. As a result, the varying cross-sectional area model showed poor uniformity in velocity distribution, however, maximum velocity in the flow path is about 30% faster than that of the uniform cross-sectional area model. The proposed varying cross-sectional area model is expected to diffuse operating fluids more easily into diffusion layer because it has relatively higher values in pressure distribution compared with other flow channel models. It is expected that the implementation of the varying cross-sectional area model can reduce not only the mass transport loss but also the activation loss in a PEM fuel cell, and open circuit voltage of a fuel cell can thus be increased slightly.

암호 활용과 코딩 이론은 유한체 GF(2<SUP>m</SUP>)에서의 연산을 사용한다. 유한체 연산을 사용하는 분야에서 연산기의 공간, 시간 복잡도의 효율성은 메모리와 수행시간에 많은 영향을 미친다. 따라서 유한체 곱셈기를 효율적으로 구성하기 위한 노력은 계속 되고 있다. [11]에서 Massey-Omura는 정규기저를 사용하는 곱셈기를 제안했고, [1]에서 Agnew는 긴 지연시간을 갖는 Massey-Omura 곱셈기를 개선한 순차 곱셈기를 제안했다. Rayhani-Masoleh와 Hasan 그리고 S.Kwon은 Agnew의 곱셈기의 구조를 개선한 공간 복잡도를 줄인 곱셈기를 각각 제안했다[2,3]. [2]에서 Rayhani-Masoleh와 Hasan이 제안한 곱셈기의 구조는 [1]의 곱셈기보다 경로 지연시간은 약간 증가하였다. 하지만, [3]에서 S.Kwon는 [1]의 구조에서 시간 효율성의 감소가 없는 곱셈기의 구조를 제안했다. 본 논문에서는 type-Ⅱ 최적 정규기저에서 S.Kwon의 곱셈기와 시간과 공간 효율성이 같은 Rayhani-Masoleh와 Hasan의 구조를 변형한 곱셈기를 제안한다. Cryptographic application and coding theory require operations in finite field GF(2<SUP>m</SUP>). In such a field, the area and time complexity of implementation estimate by memory and time delay. Therefore, the effort for constructing an efficient multiplier in finite field have been proceeded. Massey-Omura proposed a multiplier that uses normal bases to represent elements GF(2<SUP>m</SUP>) [11] and Agnew at al. suggested a sequential multiplier that is a modification of Massey-Omura's structure for reducing the path delay. Recently, Rayhani-Masoleh and Hasan and S.Kwon at al. suggested a area efficient multipliers for modifying Agnew's structure respectively[2,3]. In [2] Rayhani-Masoleh and Hasan proposed a modified multiplier that has slightly increased a critical path delay from Agnew at al.'s structure. But, In [3] S.Kwon at al. proposed a modified multiplier that has no loss of a time efficiency from Agnew's structure. In this paper we will propose a multiplier by modifying Rayhani-Masoleh and Hassan's structure and the area-time complexity of the proposed multiplier is exactly same as that of S.Kwon at al's structure for type-Ⅱ optimal normal basis.

This study is aimed to investigate characteristics of syngas co-combustion and reburning in a heavy oil - firing combustion chamber. Syngas was produced by partial oxidation of methane, and was supplied to just above the burner level. Overfire air (OFA) was used to burnout the unburned species. Reburning and reburning + staged combustion cases with total thermal input of 2 ㎿th have been tested, and the NOx emission could be reduced by ~50% maximum. Comparing with the previous experiments performed in the environment of < 1000℃ in the combustion chamber by 0.9 ㎿th input, reduction of NOx in the reburning zone effects of temperature in the chamber was investigated clearly, which implied that the high temperature in the furnace is essential for increasing the NOx reduction.
